Hollow Knight: Silksong is now finally out on Xbox Game Pass, or is it? Well, despite the game officially being released at the time of writing, all major digital stores are struggling with the demand right now - including the Microsoft Store. So, here's how to get the game downloaded on Xbox ASAP.
Our first recommendation would be to use the Xbox mobile app. We've tested this method out here at the PX office, and have managed to successfully get the game installing on Xbox Series X. Simply open up the mobile app, search for Hollow Knight: Silksong, and install it to your device of choice (you'll have to link a device if you haven't already).
We're also seeing folks suggest using the web page to remotely download the game to your console, but at the time of writing, we're getting error messages when trying to access Silksong on the Xbox website. Still, it's worth checking to see if the store page is up and running when you read this article as an alternative to the mobile app route.
Of course, we're expecting this to all be smoothed over in the coming hours as everyone calms down trying to install Hollow Knight: Silksong, but these installation methods are worth trying if you're struggling to download the highly-anticipated Xbox Game Pass title.
