Re: Digital Foundry Labels Sony's PS5 Exclusivity Pivot As A 'Defensive Move Against Project Helix'

@Sol4ris yes it was a little tongue in cheek. But it is often something that is said (like you say as it is in PS then they buy them
Anyway!)

But you can see the irony here that people are having a little dig at Sony for doing it when the recent poll has shown that Xbox gamers want MS to do.

Personally I’m in a lucky position where I have access to all - even a steamdeck now too - so exclusivity doesn’t massively impact me.

Is it the right move for them? Possibly, the ports just haven’t sold on PC. So what are they losing? Very little. They either had to try day 1 release or stop them.

They are still releasing live service ***** on there too no? And luckily as everyone constantly states on here they don’t like the Sony single player games anyway.

It’s funny that many find this stance bad. When the number 1 change Xbox players want is exclusives back.

But Sony have an advantage that their exclusives are targeting 90million players whereas Xbox targets 40million or so. Hence why one wants full exclusives and why one will release on PC and elsewhere.

Re: Talking Point: Amidst PS6 Uncertainty, Do You Think Xbox Has Project Helix All Figured Out?

I think they will have the same price issue. It’s just the world at the moment, MS aren’t immune to the cost of RAM etc etc. if you think otherwise then you aren’t being truthful.

Pushing it out too early and at an expensive price isn’t going to help - especially as they’ve previously announced it’s going to be ‘premium’. It’s extremely tricky situation to be in.

Original was full of bugs. Remaster was released in an absolute state. It only got good reviews because it was a ‘shadow drop’.

But it’s Bethesda. Issues with Starfield at launch that still persist on the ps5 launch 2-3years later.

I’ve always said in the past the issues that stopped MS getting top quality scores on 1st party games was the QA and polishing (remember Phil saying they had redfall scoring double digits higher in all metrics) but recently they have got these high scores like Indiana jones because the games release well.

It’s time now for MS to get Bethesda under some sort of quality control as it’s been in their stable long enough now

@Banjo- I guarantee I’m not on every thread. Yet another person talking nonsense. Funny that.

If people actually checked the releases you would see that some score higher on Xbox, some score less and some even score the same.

That in itself shows there’s no bias. But I can happily cherry pick games where it scored higher on Xbox if you prefer?
