Talking Point: What Would Seal The Deal For You With Xbox Project Helix?

Things have gone a little bit quiet on the Xbox Project Helix front in recent months, and we know that Asha Sharma and her team are looking at ways to make the console more "efficient" and "affordable" amidst a component crisis that threatens to get even worse over the next year.

We don't envy what they're trying to achieve with this thing considering the current climate, and it's got us thinking about what exactly would "seal the deal" in terms of committing anything up to $1.000 to buy the new system.

For example, we already know that PC games will be supported on Helix when it launches in the future, and that alone should encourage a lot of people to pick Xbox over anything else. It's not yet been revealed whether Steam and Epic Games Store support will be included though, so that may play into it for people who love their Steam libraries.

We could highlight all the usual features here as well — improved visuals, better frame rates, exclusive games that only work on the new system — it's all important stuff that we expect to see from any new console on the market.

It's going to need to be a sizable jump to convince people to pay the big bucks though, and that's where it feels like we're in a bit of a murky area right now. Last year was full of quotes about how Helix was going to deliver "the next generation of graphics innovation" and seemingly serve as this ultra-powerful machine, but not only does Xbox have a new boss now in Asha Sharma, but the component crisis has seemingly pushed her back to the drawing board a bit.

Let's wait and see, eh? For now, we'd love to hear what would seal the deal for you personally when it comes to Xbox Project Helix. In other words, what would convince you to buy the next Xbox console at at launch? Tell us down below.

Feel free to elaborate in the comments - perhaps Team Xbox might use it as helpful feedback!
