Poll: Are You Buying Battlefield 6 For Xbox On Launch Weekend?

No but I'll play it when it goes on game pass next year, which I'm subbed to through 2027. First Battlefield I have some interest in in many years

Only play the campaign and BF6 campaign is not worth the money, might give it a go on EA Play when it arrives.
I’m sure the BO7 campaign will be a lot better.

I got it at launch but have some concerns. It's fun but where are the weapons? Only 3 snipers rifles? No scopes over 10x? The maps I've played so far fell small compared to Battlefield 4.

They finally just did all they needed to do after BF4 in terms of a modern day set game: BF3-4 with better graphics. Wasn't it easy, dev lads? You're printing money now.

I didnt care for it in the betas so I am probably passing. Maybe if I still have ultimate when it hits ea play but that's unlikely. If multiple friends buy it soon and want me to join their squad I might reconsider but that's looking unlikely.

I am curious if the campaign is as bad as it sounds. I typically enjoy "bad" military fps campaigns so I am intrigued.

No. I quit mp gaming so it’s all about the campaign which doesn’t justify getting it.

I played the Beta and whilst I will say its the 'best' BF MP I've played, probably since the BF3/4 era of Battlefields, I don't think it offers the best Campaign and we still don't really know how their Post Launch content and its monetisation will look.

I don't buy games at launch as I think that's ALWAYS the worst time to buy. The Price is at its highest, content at its most basic and/or the code is often at its least Optimised too. With games costing over £50, now £70 at launch, I really see no reason to buy until its on sale or offered in a Sub tier. I also dislike the 'benefits' to PS users over those on PC and Xbox so I refuse to 'buy' on PS to support that practice - just like I nevber bought Hogwarts - although still considering buying it 'now' on Xbox with Play Anywhere.

Play Anywhere too will factor in to my Gaming purchasing in the future as I intend to play 'more' on PC's - and I think MS will eventually (if not 'next' gen) will only make 'PC' hardware. I think their 'console' (in design) will emulate Series Xbox so all their 'old' games, games you can play today on Series Hardware from the handful of OG Xbox games, 360 to XB1 and Series Games. But all 'new' Xbox releases will be 'Windows Xbox PC' games - games you can run on 'ANY' Windows PC, not just their 'own' Console.

The reason, they are already making games for PC and so don't need to port and optimise to a second Platform at extra cost and all their games are 'Play Anywhere' so cutting the 'Console' costs would be a big Financial reason. Their work with Asus on Windows too, in collaboration with the Xbox OS team, will help them 'optimise' Windows for gaming and provide a 'console' like interface.

To me, the RoG Xbox Allys are indicative of their future so unless Games have Play Anywhere and/or at a reasonable price to 'me', I'm not buying 'new' games.

I pre-ordered Black Ops 7 and will have a blast with that game.

Eventually I will but not now. I very rarely buy games at launch and full price. BF6 is definitely not one of those rare occasions.

What I like about these games is the campaign, and no campaign justifies the excessive price, but when it's on Gamepass/EA Play, I'll give it a try.

Once it hits EA Play I'll run through the campaign. No interest at all in the MP

I only like campaigns in games like this and everything ive read makes me think the campaign is very low quality. I may play it if I get it free or under $15, but I cant see myself playing it anytime soon.

Between the small maps and prioritizing the poor balance of open weapons, killed it for me.

To add the campaign was canceled by EA. It isn't even finished.

I've played it with EA pro on my legion go, and it's kind of fun but not too sure I like the smaller maps, and doesn't seem to be alot of other weapons. Also seems to take an age to unlock anything... It's the best BF since maybe BF1 and BF4 but I still probably think it's a step back from them games tbh.

I bought Battlefield 6 on Friday and then bought Borderlands 4 on Saturday. So i am good for a while unless this Red Dead 2 Remaster is truly happening in a few weeks. Then I’ll but that too.

BF6 is so so good. I am loving it. No COD for me this year. I think i will stick with BF until COD drops support for last gen consoles.

I got it on launch day but not on Xbox, I have it on PC via the EA app.

Bought and played a few matches. It's good! Confusing and I may be way too old for it. But it's good.

Got it for less than £50.
Campaign is ok, like the others, not excellent and not crap.
MP is exactly as I want it to be.

I wasn't going to, but I did 😁 I couldn't resist the urge, I just knew it was going to be good... and it bloody is. I went straight to multiplayer and I've already put over 15 hrs into it 🤣 I haven't done that for a long time, it took me back to my younger days.
