More than a year after Krafton first announced that it'd be buying Hi-Fi RUSH and its developer from Microsoft, the team has detailed exactly what's happening today as the publishing of its colourful musical adventure moves over to the PUBG maker.
In short, from November 14th, Hi-Fi RUSH will be published by Krafton - and the game's store pages should start reflecting that very soon. Then, on December 4th, a patch will go live that swaps over some in-game elements too; such as splash screens, loading logos and such.

The support team has further detailed these changes in an online blog post, if you'd like to read up on exactly what's changing, starting today. In a follow-up FAQ (shared by Gematsu), Krafton also confirmed that Hi-Fi RUSH will remain on Xbox Game Pass, and that gameplay via Microsoft's subscription service will continue "without interruption".
"Players who own the game through Game Pass can continue to play without interruption. However, you may encounter an error message when attempting to connect to Bethesda.net within the game."
This is all good news for the future of Hi-Fi RUSH, we suppose - although recent moves by Krafton don't exactly fill us with confidence for the IP's future. Fairly recently, the Korean game maker said it was pumping money into becoming an "AI-first company" - and just this week, we're seeing reports that the company has launched a voluntary resignation program as a result (or partial result) of this move. Hi-Fi RUSH is having a bit of a wild life, isn't it?
