@Scrubchub 100% agree. Ok, they don't sell at all well, but the hardware is sound. I'm entirely satisfied with my series X, and really I couldn't care less if it sold 100 million units or 1 million. That's Microsofts problem not mine. I just play the games.

Sad to say as an Xbox fan, but I think it's PS6 for me.

Microsoft is mandating effort from their devs into handheld optimization. New gears runs just as well as the articles claim, even on my z1 extreme Ally.
They will lose interest, though, eventually. Then they'll go back to ignoring handheld optimization.

@GoldenPants Lapton screens tend to suck tho, unless you spend big. The Ally screen is small (but massive if you're used to Switch) but quite lovely. And there vrr too.

I hope they offer existing Ally owners the option to download the new UI.

@Millionski They should take a massive hit and put Series S out for $199 the week before gta vi. Throw in a $10 store voucher too. Even if its just a temporary price.
If they do though, they'd better start making those now cos they fly of the shelf.

I'm going to pick them up but they're going straight into backlog. I have things on the go, but I want to dedicate the end of March to AC shadows and the excellent looking Atomfall.

@Cornpop76 Yeah, I bet the devs would tell us there's so and so tech in that image that older games just can't do. But to the average eye things just look the same.

@Kaloudz Do you recall the awful CGI when vamps changed faces? I think if they CGI de-aged Spike & Angel now, oddly enough it would look and feel in keeping with the original.

A bit annoyed that I couldn't get round to Tales of Arise, but Tbh I have SO MANY jrpg's I still have to play. I've only just started xenoblade C 2 on Switch.

@Kaloudz yup 100% agree. In addition, I think that if ps5 had not sold quite so well, then Sony too would have released on Xbox. Only reason they don't, I believe, is that there aren't enough series consoles out there to make doing so attractive. I can totally see them watching Switch 2 with interest though.
In fact, didn't they recently send a Horizon game to Switch? 🤔
