@MrStark I'll be keeping the SX and ps5, I think. But can't see myself getting what comes next. Probably, I'll stick to Nintendo and cloud one day for everything else.

Horrible situation, but I think XBOX will keep 343, coalition, BGS, Id, Machine games, Infinity Ward, Treyarch, Playground, Zenimax, Blizzard (I see King becoming it's own subsidiary). Every remaining studio is axed or sold.

The rest will be XBOX 3rd party deals. As they've hinted at already.

I'm getting a Switch 2 soon, and I'm starting to consider ditching Xbox and PlayStation, sick of both companies and their bs.

Can't wait. I love June. Xmas for gamers (+ the world Cup.)

I wouldn't mind some new mi6 target (hitman style) in existing levels.

Should've launched exclusive on XBOX this autumn, then on PS5 in February. Ps5 sales offsetting any losses caused by XBOX version competing against gta 6.

I wish they weren't coming to other platforms at all. I wish they didn't need to.
But I appreciate them (XBOX) when they're upfront with us.

9 from me. Only some rough viuals in places let it down.
The hair on characters for example. I think, visually, Hitman games are way better looking imo.

I think we'll end up with 1-2 console exclusives a year. Microsoft seem like they really don't want them. I think they will attempt to compromise, but 1 or 2 won't shift the needle.

FH 5 was a 10/10. I've nothing about 6 to suggest any downgrade at all. On the contrary, it looks way better.

@Scrubchub 100% agree. Ok, they don't sell at all well, but the hardware is sound. I'm entirely satisfied with my series X, and really I couldn't care less if it sold 100 million units or 1 million. That's Microsofts problem not mine. I just play the games.

Sad to say as an Xbox fan, but I think it's PS6 for me.

Somethings going on here in UK too. This morning I checked my recurring billing, its was off and turning it on gives me the new £22.99 price. Even though I'm paid up until May.

If they're smart (they ain't,) they put something big into the service as an extra to what already announced. They need something to sweeten a rather sour pot.

Nope, and I think it's irresponsible of those who do. These companies are tyring to make gaming into an expensive luxury, and we're all enabling them.

Microsoft is mandating effort from their devs into handheld optimization. New gears runs just as well as the articles claim, even on my z1 extreme Ally.
They will lose interest, though, eventually. Then they'll go back to ignoring handheld optimization.

No it's pretty drab if honest. Some street lights etc. nothing neon.

Win for Xbox, win for Bethesda, a win for game pass an subscribers. Win for playstation fans, who've not had the game until now. A win for Virtuoso - I'm already more excited for Mgs 3 cos of how well they've done here. So a win for Konami too.

Let's face it; they can't think it's very good, to be released this way. An Unreal engine 5 remake of Oblivion? That should be a front & centre showcase level reveal, right?

@GoldenPants Lapton screens tend to suck tho, unless you spend big. The Ally screen is small (but massive if you're used to Switch) but quite lovely. And there vrr too.

I hope they offer existing Ally owners the option to download the new UI.
