Amidst everything going on in the world of Xbox today, we've got a highly-anticipated new Game Pass title dropping on the service in the form of Dune: Awakening, which is now available for Ultimate, PC and Premium members.
Therefore, we thought we'd bring you some raw gameplay footage of both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions courtesy of Fuzion Xbox Testing, showing off how the game looks across both systems.
On Xbox Series X, Dune: Awakening contains two different performance options ("Quality" and "Performance") that both output at 4K resolution, but apparently utilise DRS (dynamic resolution scaling) along the way. The game is described as a looking "terrific" on Series X, but the performance mode's frame rate does drop into the mid-50s on occasion, while quality mode actually jumps above 30FPS sometimes according to this footage.
On Xbox Series S, the game looks perfectly fine for the system, and actually appears to run at a smooth 60FPS at first glance. There's no 30FPS option here either - it's just 60FPS at 1080p (again with DRS potentially in play).
The good news is that you don't really need us to tell you about this one, as you can go and boot it up right now with Xbox Game Pass! Give it a try, share some feedback, and let us in on whether it's a worthy download in your opinion.
Here are those Xbox Series X and Series S videos, and be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments.
