Re: Microsoft 'Likely' To Offer Remedies Soon For Activision Blizzard Deal In Europe, Claims Report

NeutronBomb

Spencer isgreat but too nice to do what needs to be done.
Drop this boring acquisition. Pay the 3billion get out clause.
Buy EVERY exclusive available. All the marketing deals, all the dlc, all silly perks & every one of them on gamepass.
Probably still wouldn't cost anywhere near 68 billion, and Sony is destroyed.
And after all their nonsense lately, they would deserve it too.
But nope. Spencers going to give them cod, agree not to put it on gamepass - Probably and, at this rate, I'd not be surprised if they even got to keep their precious perks & marketing.
I don't particularly like Jim Ryan but he's playing Microsoft like his very own puppet. They fall on their knees to his every word. It's disgusting.
And dont get me started on those incompetents at regulatory level around the globe. Pathetic pandering to Sony. Nothing they highlight is legally relevant to the law of competition. Not when allowing the deal has been proven to keep xbox in third place.
I'd argue that, given that, the deal actually increases competition in the market.

I can't wait for it to be over.

Re: PlayStation Boss Heavily Criticises Xbox For 'Inadquate' Call Of Duty Offer

NeutronBomb

@UltimateOtaku91 Yeah that's exactly what you want them to do because that would spook the regulators into intervening.
Honestly Otaku, I dont even know why you're hanging out here on Xbox boards 24/7 - its beyond weird and more than a little sad that you're here capping Playstation like they're your fave sports team. When do you have the time to even play your ps5?

Re: Xbox's 'Approach' With Starfield Is Leading To More ActiBlizz Scrutiny

NeutronBomb

@xMightyMatt14x Yeah reports have monthly costs predicted at £800 a month for end of year with further rises predicted April. They increased 50% recently, another 80% October, then further rises April.
For context; millions of low icome households in the UK are lucky to make 800 a month.
Government is waffling about financial help, but anything touted so far falls WAY short & to cap it off: they won't nail anything down until after the tories have their silly leadership election to see who's stepping in at number 10. And, in that election, the choice is between a greedy b**tard & a stupid MF.

Re: Microsoft Defends Activision Blizzard Deal With Eyebrow-Raising Statement

NeutronBomb

This is ponies searching for their own "controversial quotes" to latch onto from the regulation because theyve been battered hard with them in the last day or so. Desperation. I just found Sonys comments funny, they're being a little shifty trying to derail the deal, but nothing xbox wouldn't have not have done too, in the reverse.
But no. Ponies get all butthurt like people are making fun of a loved one in their lives. Some have even petitioned the regulagors. Embarrassing stuff. For crying out loud, you cannot effect this deal in any way, just relax and let all parties do their jobs. And Xbox have already told you that you can still keep call of duty. The result of this acquisition does not effect you fans in any major way - regardless of outcome. I tell you what it is: they think of their white plastic box like it's their precious, they won't buy another kind of plastic box - no way. But they REALLY don't like to see xbox gamers enjoying gamepass. It drives them insane that we'll be playing cod at no extra cost. Even the ponies that don't play cod themselves! It's pathetic imo.

Honestly, the console wars are the single most stupid thing ever imo.

Re: Xbox Series X And S Have Been Next-Gen 'Market Leaders' In The US

NeutronBomb

@Dezzy70 I don't enjoy multiplayer so redfall doesn't have me ex ited, but Starfield I know will be good. Just do the usual Bethesda game studio thing and don't play until its had at least 2 patches.
Xbox is where its at ghis gen 4 me though. I traded my ps5 in because I just didn't use it. There are good games there, but nothing that does it for me.

Re: Xbox Series X And S Have Been Next-Gen 'Market Leaders' In The US

@Dezzy70 UK here too. I'm encouraged by how many have come back to xbox this gen on promise alone. Kinda proves there is still hope/faith in the brand and belief in what new is being built.
I wonder how many more will make the jump if/when the promise is delivered, when the constant rush of 1st party exclusives finally arrive?
