They still think the market is shrinking, but they never once even tried out a fair pricing policy. People in the UK all know GAME are robbing you on prices.
When had a indy game shop (ps1/ps2) era, we charged £35 for brand new day 1 game. If it came straight back via trade, we'd sell it for £25 or £22 (depending on what it was).
Platinum ps games were £18 new £12 preowned.

Nowadays in game, you find a recent release prowled and it's nearly full price.

That's sad news, but not at all surprising imo. No physical edition must have really hurt sales. There was no doubt some people who did not want to support digital only.

I really dont ever like comparisons between Forza and Gran Turismo, because of the console war BS just becomes overwhelming fast.
On Forza Motorsport though, I will say this. Forza 7 was a FAR better game. Even visually, F7 had a vibrancy that entirely missing from the latest game. And modes-wise the new game just cannot compete.

@Fiendish-Beaver I think that's the crux of it. I too fully intend to get to it eventually. But who has time to play these AA releases at launch when they want/need it? There's too much. Stupid to launch a game of this size in the middle of the biggest ever gaming season.

@Fenbops Totally. If the publisher is fine knowing sales are hamstrung by skill requirements, then who am I to say thats not ok? Nice to see that more money is not the only thing that matters for a change.
But won't stop me asking for easy mode, on behalf of those of us who want to just experience the story/game beginning to end, but don't want the whole thing to feel like a painful lesson in perseverance.

@armondo36 Because if you take the high difficulty out, then in most cases youd be left with a really short game. Most of them are really linear, you could probably run through Bloodborne in just 6-7 hours if you didnt keep dying.

Picked a disc version up today for £5. Mainly because I remembered this article. So nice one @FraserG. Will hold off playing until 27th.

Enter, Dan Stapleton a part timer at ign, a Sony fan who "yeah, me likes a little sci-fi."
None of the ign full timers wanted the gig. Why would they? Give it a low score and, well we've seen that.
Give it a high scores, you get the same from team blue in the crazy console war, who label u a green shill.
