We've chucked Kojima Productions' 'KNOCK' teaser up above for you to feast your eyes on, which contains roughly three minutes of new footage. Yes, it's very much a Kojima trailer and does little in the way of actually describing what the game is - but it has our interest piqued, absolutely.
A lot of folks are drawing parallels to Kojima's cancelled 'P.T.' Silent Hill project that was in the works at Konami over a decade ago, and we can certainly see it. There's definitely a layer of atmosphere that's reminiscent of that old teaser demo, and truthfully, it's great to see Kojima get back on the horror game horse with this one.
Having said that, we're not jumping the gun too quickly here. Ultimately, we don't know exactly what OD is just yet, and the eccentric creator has even gone on record to say it'll be "a game like no other". We'll wait patiently for Kojima's brand-new project, then, which still doesn't have an Xbox release window at the time of writing.
In terms of whether this will be what the game actually looks like; you can't really say that Kojima & co. won't live up to these technical expectations. The facial work in particular here reminds us of Hellblade 2, so we know that it can be done, and the rest of the trailer has that Kojima shine to it. The Death Stranding series is a technical marvel, and we have no doubts that OD will be too!
In the meantime, here are a collection of stills from the above teaser trailer:
