Xbox indies with online multiplayer and avatars. Miss games like avatar miner paintball, Castleminer Warfare, and a game called Avatar Dairansen which was like Dragonball Z with destructable player made stages.

Imagine if Phil just says "Join us in February for a special showcase" similar to when they shadow dropped Hifi Rush then just walks off stage with no first party games shown at the awards.

I love Starfield but for some reason it nearly always makes me tired when I play it. It's the reason why my save is days because I end up pausing it to take a break. I can't really explain it. I still need to actually buy it but for now I'm happy with Game Pass and owning the dlc through early access.

Loving the game because it has that Bethesda feeling which I can't really explain. Get some random close to dashboards though when visiting points of interests like industrial outposts and whatnot on Series S so been manually saving a lot. Also had a glitch where some spacers turned into streakers because they only had on underwear (plus the guy in the first shop on New Atlantis. Saw him sweeping in his underwear 🤣). I get tired though when playing it because there's less hostile encounters and it's relaxing just looking at things.

I do feel cloud is the future. I just hope they can get it so aiming feels like you're playing on a console. I completed a quest on Starfield yesterday on my tablet so I could watch Money for Nothing before I went to work lol. Once you get used to the slight delay it feels great.

@StylesT I'll never do this. I haven't even done that glitch for that armour in the cabinet. The only game I've actively glitched on was Gotcha Force on the GameCube to get a gotcha borg you could only get by attending a convention, and some you get by merging other borgs you've collected but they're glitched out but still fun to use, and a glitch to play as the last boss but all the moves are automatic so you just sit there bored as heck.

There's also a short clip where I think the same person throws a grenade in them and they go flying everywhere before the clip cuts off.

@Amigator Was the guy named xbottears playstation ambassador or something like that on twitter? Because I accidentally saw his one line comment but I highly doubt he knows the story and is just being a 🍆head. Then again doesn't really affect me because I'll probably never finish the game because I'll be looking at things, especially if they're shiny lol.

Anyone who joins, ask them if the landing zone is boxed in or can you walk or jetpack around the planet. I'd be fine if the area around the landing zone was Skyrim-sized and the barriers were just some 'unexplained phenomena' that kills you similar to the red sea in Sea of Thieves damaging your ship.

Soon as a discless Series X is announced I'm cleaning my Series S to use as credit towards it, especially if it looks like a cube.

@Kaloudz I checked a few days ago on google but was hoping the console version is the same as all the other ones. I might try and grind reward points to put towards the lifetime access. I can't decide what games to play these days so would be nice to dip into some nostalgia from time to time. Or I can wait until February when I don't have to pay council tax and water.

Is Cannon Fodder on it? I've got the SNES cartridge and a clone console but I'm too lazy to set it up.

Thank atheism for reward points. Long as I can grind them I'll stick to ultimate, even if it means spending a little money towards it.

I wonder if some of what was shown at the Starfield direct would've been cut content without the delay or Xbox's support.

If I can pay for game pass ultimate with the gift card money in my Microsoft account it would ease the blow. No way I'm claiming game pass ultimate with the free code because it always locks up the console when trying to get it.

@Kaloudz I'm the same. Not paid for online for months thanks to reward points until a code for redeeming game pass wouldn't work, then I couldn't buy any games or gold for a few days. Had to go online and get someone at Xbox to buy gold for me. Now I'm just going to add money to my Microsoft account and buy game pass ultimate with that instead, if I can. I'll buy Starfield though because I want to own it.

@Rangers420 I think it crashes on the Series X too. I'm waiting for that update that's supposed to fix all the bugs. Can't play without crashing around the Boston area. I'm desperate to play it again.

I'll be playing on my S but might use some of my saved money to get a 4k tv. Just trying to resist the urge to buy one now but my 720p tv is p155ing me off every time I look at it.

@Zoidpilot4 I read somewhere that Dreamcastguy was getting so much pushback, even from PlayStation fans, that he rage quit his own livestream of the Starfield showcase and deleted it 😭

If mods are anything like Skyrim then modders could just unlock the frame rate on console hopefully. I'm not too bothered about 30fps for this type of game though.

Looks like I'll be buying Persona 3 again (FES pre owned on PS2, P3P Xbox and now this next year, even though they're on game pass). As they say, good things come in threes.

@UltimateOtaku91 You heard of Gotcha Force on GameCube or Team Buddies on PS1? They were cheap as fudge when I was a kid/teen. Now they're £100+. Gave my brother my Gotcha Force but he lives with me so I could still play it if I wanted but I regret trading in Team Buddies when I still bought physical games.

Highly unlikely but I'd love a playable demo of Starfield. I'd just boot it up in the background everyday while doing my reward points stuff on my tablet. I just know if that happens I'll get insomnia because I have to be up early Monday for my morning cleaning job and I'll probably be too hyped to sleep properly.

If it's real then I may actually have money spare for it. I'm having it. I'm gonna look at it and be distracted from whatever I'm currently playing.

Will the showcase be capped at 30fps?🙃 I'll be urined if Starfield ain't 60fps.

@NeutronBomb No idea. I'm slowly going off gaming but it's the only real hobby I have. If I did get a ps5 it would only be to get the Earth Defence Force games or to play any retro games when Sony bothers to even add them. I'd probably try Demon Souls or something.

I'm seriously considering saving towards a ps5. Only first party I play on Xbox currently is Sea of Thieves on and off. I'm not into Forza and was put off getting Halo Infinite because of the lack of environments in single player. I mostly play third party due to the lack of actual decent first party games releasing on Xbox, especially with all the studios they have.

I saw a clip where the car props looked tiny compared to the size of your character. Reminded me of State of Decay 2 where all the toilets look tiny, like you'd have to flush after dropping one 💩 and a wipe tiny.

I've seen screenshots where reflections look better on ps5 and blurry on Series X. I'm not too ar5ed as I have a Series S but tf is going on with all that "powah"?

I bought the 500gb one awhile back for my Series S. Don't know why but I'm tempted to buy another one but not use it because I like the aesthetics of it. Too poor for that though at the moment 😅

I'm planning on trying to save for a Series X, or hopefully a cheaper discless version if they ever make one. As long as Starfield plays fine I'm not bothered about upgrading my Series S yet. @Wheatly I was thinking that's why Squenix is skipping Xbox because it's more work to get their games running on Series S and probably not worth the effort.

Last time I tried to get free game pass ultimate from reward points the code wouldn't work and it crashed my xbox when trying it on there. I couldn't even buy anything on the store for about five days after that, even with my own money. Had to get gold by chatting on the xbox support site and they said the game pass ultimate code didn't work because I'd already used another one in the past and should only be used once, even though I've been doing it since late last year🙃 I'm just redeeming the gift card money now instead.

I've had enough of the absolutely 💩ty redeem function on the console. Freezes when trying to redeem ultimate I got with reward points. Code won't work now when trying it on my tablet and says it can't authenticate it with my bank even though I just now paid my tv licence to make sure my card was working. Really pi55ed off.

@iplaygamesnstuff If you grind reward points you can get game pass for free. Not certain if they've nerfed points slightly this year but I haven't paid for game pass ultimate since I think around October last year. Even use the Firefox browser to search twenty times on bing and launch the game pass app and play jewel on it for the extra points everyday. I'd squeeze stones for points if I could. Every point means not paying for online.

@awp69 Lol. I signed in to ask if they're the ones that skipped xbox for some dlc. They'll probably do it again because I'll hopefully be staring at a Nazeem-type character in Starfield. Or staring at ship parts or shiny objects.

Ah well. At least grinding Sea of Thieves for the emissary rewards will pass the time. Then I've still got to finish Persona 3, start 4 and maybe buy the fifth game that's currently downloaded on game pass. But I need Starfield as it suits my play style which is slow and steady and look at shiny things because I'm easily distracted.

I only bought oreos for the Sea of Thieves cosmetics. They're crap but I ate them because I paid for them. I'd rather have a custard cream yellow series s.

Have you seen that video about if countries were a super villain? All art was done by AI. I feel game devs could use AI to get ideas about artwork for new games.

I've never bothered with it. I'm very picky about what games I buy and play nowadays. I did buy Persona 3 and 4 today though even though I'm grinding reward points for free game pass ultimate because I've already put 70 hours into Persona 3 and wanted to own it seeing as I previously owned it for ps2 and was enjoying playing it again. Been starved for games like that on Xbox lol.

I'm all in on reward points so haven't bought a game for awhile. Not paid for online too thanks to redeeming game pass ultimate for free. Last game I bought was Monster Sanctuary and before that was Shadow Man. I'm thinking about buying Persona 3 and 4 together but I'm waiting until the end of the month to see how much money I have left. I could use the money I'd normally pay the water bill with seeing as there's no more payments until April but I'm trying to see how much money I can put to the side with my second cleaning job and imagining I'm still paying some billls lol.

@jdv95 If you don't already know look up Microsoft Rewards and about game pass quests on xbox. I've not paid for game pass ultimate for months because of that but I think they recently nerfed the amount you get each month so eventually I'll probably have to pay again lol.

Looking forward to Starfield definitely. Heck I might even buy it because this week Xbox gave me 1000 reward points for missing about a week of daily points after trying and failing to redeem free game pass ultimate through the console with the code which forced me to do it on my tablet instead and for some reason locked me out of Game Pass quests even though I was subscribed and playing Persona 3. All fixed now.
