I miss the indie games.

But.......but......but we don't buy games. The Internet said so.
Not my type of game but I did buy Plague Tale Innocence yesterday. Thinking about buying Keeper this week if I don't have an unplanned vet visit on top of getting my dog's booster.

Ever since some glitch happened where I couldn't buy anything for a few days after trying to redeem game pass through the Xbox itself and the store freezing, then the code not working when trying it on my tablet and the Xbox edge browser I've always redeemed gift cards to get free or nearly free Game Pass ultimate because it's more reliable. I'm currently on Core because I want to build my points up.

@JON22 Probably. I did read that the bonus dlc with the more expensive (cheap for me because I bought Borderlands 3 in a deep sale) editions may have caused the crashing on Xbox. Saw it in a Google search in a reddit post that deleting the dlc cosmetics fixed the crashing. Not risked installing it on my X. I only bought the X because Helldivers 2 looked like crap on S. Could barely see anything on a 4k tv.

Glad I waited. Borderlands 3 kept crashing on Series S so gave up playing it. Recently started playing it again because I bought a Series X from Cash Converters. No crashes so far. Might wait for a sale to buy 4.

If I ever buy it at least I can play it on my newly (pre-owned) bought Series X I got yesterday. Helldivers looked like a blurry mess on my S on a 4k tv.

I don't know much about tv's in general but with my crappy 4k tv it looks pretty darn bad on my Series S. My previous non-4k 720p tv looked smoother and had better colours. On certain games like Starfield if I switch to performance without quality you can see vertical lines on the 4k tv. That's how it looks if I turn anti aliasing off on Helldivers. Also hate it looks like there's butter spread on the screen five steps from assets like a tree lol.

I'll need until exactly one year after the release date on Xbox to decide.

Well you can order an Xbox from CEX through Just Eat so it's technically within theme. Just like the fridges and toaster.

@GASEOUS Is it Earth Defense Force enjoyable? Global Defence Force introduced me to the series on PS2. Loved it, low frames and all lol. Got some Earth Defense Force games for my Xbox and Ps4 too.

But have they fixed the red loading screen of death? Have to sign in and out just to get to the main menu. Like that since worlds part 1.

Don't know about Series X but on S if you press the guide button or a message pops up with vibrant graphics it becomes a 5fps delayed movement fest. Like you're playing through the cloud but the cloud is halfway to Mars.

I see it as a "Look what you could play right now if you had game pass" strategy. No game pass on PS5 and Switch means pay full price or wait and save while people on Xbox can play now while saving money if they want to eventually own the game. Or they can stream it but it won't be native. I can play Oblivion while saving to own it.

My tv is rubbish at smoothing low res games on Series S. When Starfield had the bug that locked the option to have 60fps with visuals I had to stay on 30 because it became a fuzzy mess on my tv. I hope Oblivion doesn't look like that or I'll have to save for a Series X or a better tv to enjoy it fully.

I say let it go. It either comes or it doesn't. Doesn't bother me. Just sick of seeing "this will be a good time to announce FF7 remake for Xbox" tweets lol.

Was wondering why I couldn't see that berserk game in the new games section. Not that I want it. Just hate when things aren't working properly.

I've not had the time thing yet. I just hate you have to wait five-ten seconds between each search. I just search from 1-20 on bing mobile and yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy on Xbox lol. I miss being able to spam it fast.

I keep forgetting it exists.

Still haven't fixed the infinite red circle. Have to sign out then in just to get to the main menu. Been like that since the worlds part 1 update.

I currently switch between core and ultimate. Staying on core to see how much points I get in 3 months. Might stay on ultimate after that if the recent changes allow me to top up monthly with reward points.

Wonder if it's in preparation for a certain fanbase that said they'd get motion sickness playing Indiana Jones in first person🥴

Don't know if it's Series S only but now you can't have 60 with visuals. The option to change visuals and performance is greyed out when picking 60. Game looks like 4r5e so stuck playing 30 visuals😥

@Celestial_Keyblade I might try that thanks. I just need more storage first to play it but can't afford it yet and I'm wireless so each gigabyte is a two minute download. Have it stored on a Seagate hard drive but have heard it's better to download it again as moving it seems to affect it in some way.

@Pabpictu Series S or X? I'm on S so might be specific to that version. I'm hoping to save for the digital Series X but might have to wait until I get two to council tax free months.

@InterceptorAlpha that probably explains the No Man's Sky update delays then.
@GamingFan4Lyf I'd go pc if I had the money, space, wasn't paranoid about getting a virus or hacked and knew beyond how to turn one on to surf the internet. Xbox versions of games seem crash happy like Borderlands 3. Even Forza Horizon 4 crashes when viewing cars and you press A to look at the interior.

@GamingFan4Lyf I've just realised from the clips I've seen, the guy sounds like Freiza who calls saiyans monkeys and he's a monkey.

Xbox always seems to have memory leak problems. Might explain why when I turn off my series s by the controller it doesn't fully switch off so I have to unplug or press the power button for a few secs to fully switch it off. Sometimes when I turn it on it's instant even though it's not in instant on mode and there were no updates in progress.

Sneaky feeling the delay is to port it to PS5.

Bought it a few weeks ago. Tried looking inside car when viewing cars. Crash to dashboard every time on Series S. Uninstalled it because it annoyed me. Have they fixed it yet?

Matchmaking was rubbish.

@RexPowercolt I bought Forza Horizon 4 while it was cheap. Not really a car person. Just got it to mess about in. When viewing cars and picking to look inside the car interior it crashed my Series S every time. That was a few weeks ago. I uninstalled it because even though I don't need that feature for normal gameplay it annoyed me I couldn't use it.

Aldi had some official Xbox mugs awhile back. About £4-£5 I think. Liked using it but a load of crap. Cracked for no reason with normal use.

Finally let game pass ultimate lapse to get bog standard 3 month game pass core instead. Was no fun playing games to get achievements for more reward points to put towards free/almost free ultimate. Also was getting the gift card money instead because I've had issues where codes didn't work getting the subscription itself with reward points. Going to see if 3 months of point stacking gets me enough for a £20 gift card.

I'm debating on wether to get this now or in a few weeks because at the moment whenever I treat myself one of my dogs suddenly need to visit the vets. One was limping on and off since last bank holiday but seems to be better now, and she hurt the same leg the bank holiday before that jumping off the settee. Leaning more towards buy and let's see because I want to play it but don't want to suddenly end up skint. The joys of having dogs😥

The only difference I've noticed is the graphics look slightly less "messy" with performance mode off. Took zooming in and out on some mouldy food in the inventory to notice the difference lol.

Quality mode does do something. Can't explain it but it looks flat in performance mode. I picked up some mouldy food and in performance mode if you zoom in and out on it in the inventory it looks jagged, but in quality mode it looks cleaner. I'm on Series S.

Fina-effing-lly. Haven't touched the Xbox One version since someone on the forums said something about ownership of assets or something like that meaning consoles wouldn't be updated anymore. Can't wait.

@Nintendo4Sonic I don't mind the dpad. Just hate how clicky it is. Always preferred Xbox One controllers, especially that nice blue one. Would be nice if they made another with the usb c socket.

Indie games like Castleminer Warfare or Avatar Miner Paintball. Also games like Xenominer and Mount Your Friends. I miss the cheap indie games. Some were fun.

@InterceptorAlpha They probably could do that easily. Been a few times where I've accidentally pressed that damn share button while on Sea of Thieves insider. A message pops up saying this content can't be shared or something like that.
