I'm holding off. Witcher 3 infamously launched at a buggy state, and look at it now, and apparently the day 1 patch already fixed some major issues, I'm just gonna sit tight for the official next gen versions, seems like the best way to go at the moment.
Somehow I have that new Samsung Smart TV, I can't for the life of me find the specs. I don't know about 120 fps, but definetely 4K and at least 60 fps. Really big too, makes me feel comfortable.
Although the graphics weren't too great, I can't wait to play this game, although between the slew of games coming out I'm the next few months, I think I'll be occupied. let's see we got HW: age of calamity, Cyberpunk, wasteland 3, SMT V and III remastered, among other things. I'm also on another round of hopeless addiction to Smash, so my plate is very much full.
I completely miss all of this as I'm sleeping. I wake up, take in the news, and then get blasted again by news from Nintendo. Sony has been pretty quiet, although I think they're going to do another presentation like the one in June.
@BlueOcean oh damn, it's actually been half confirmed by a UK retailer for tommorow. Between that and the more Xbox news, and the rumor for a Nintendo direct(scoff, although if it's a partner showcase that shows silksong, I will be more than happy), the Ubisoft forward event is going to be absolutely buried.
Edit: Hyrule warriors: age of calamity just got announced, bye bye Ubisoft
@BlueOcean Yep. It is believed that Sony might reveal more things literally tommorow. It was definitely a smart moved Sony pulled at E3 the start of the generation. Although I personally don't care much for gamepass (for reasons that are stupidly subjective e.g I prefer physical, even though it doesn't mean anything nowadays), but Phil Spencer is doing a fantastic job. I can't wait to see more from both Sony and Microsoft.
@BlueOcean @Bmartin001 I think all In all, Sony and Microsoft are on even footing going into the next generation. And that is great for competition within the industry, I don't doubt fantastic games will come from both sides. Now, to see if Valve will join in as well...
This is a pretty great price and specs, like really good. definetely not this holiday, as I'm getting a ps5, but In a couple years when I'm out of uni, I will definitely get this. It cannot be ignored.
@KelticDevil if you know what you are doing, you can build a PC with the same specs for the same amount of money, or even less. There are also pre-built PCs you can get as well.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, if they don't think it is a great investment it's up to them
My priority is the ps5 and building up my switch library right now, but in a couple years I will definitely get at least a series s. Very excited for fable and avowed, but i do not doubt those are a ways off.
Hmmm, interesting. That makes me question how long it will be. I actually like it when devs do this, it enables future people(i.e me on a nostalgia trip) to play it and preserve the game. Only other game I can think of in recent memory that did this was Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the torna expansion.
I could never get into the sonic games, even the old ones, no idea why. Maybe cause I'm used to the jumping precision of Mario as too the all over the place and high speed action of sonic. Call me a Nintendo fan whatever. Also I'm a snail when it comes to completing any game at all, so that doesn't help.

Re: Rumour: Xbox Has Talked To 'Every Major Publisher' About Potential Game Pass Partnerships
If they talked to "every major game publisher" does that mean they talked to Nintendo and Sony as well? I wonder how that went.
Re: Can You Guess These Upcoming Xbox Series X Games?
12/15 clearly I was paying more attention to upcoming games than I give myself credit.
Although I do not remember any space deers in the halo infinite trailers, that one threw me off.

Re: Talking Point: Have You Been Able To Pre-Order An Xbox Series X|S?
I haven't been able to get any console at all, I'll wait until the release date is closer.
Re: PS5 Horror Quantum Error Now Slated For Xbox Series X, But Series S Version Not Confirmed
Wait what, I though all series x games ran on series s as well? I'm uninformed on this then. That changes my perspective on the console then.

Re: Video: This Is How Quickly The Xbox Series S Can Load Games
Damn that's pretty good. Still can't beat the ps5's almost instantaneous load times, but that's nothing to sneeze at.

EA's gonna start complaining they're not making as much money now...
