Ubisoft has pulled the release date of Assassin's Creed Valhalla forward by a week to coincide with the launch of the Xbox Series X console on November 10th. The historical action epic was supposed to hit stores shelves on November 17th.
Ubisoft has also pulled forward the release dates for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Stadia, and UPLAY+ releases to the 10th, but has stated that it will be available on PS5 when the console launches. Sony is yet to confirm a release date for its next-gen system.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla will benefit from the increased power of Xbox Series X to offer 60fps / 4K visuals, faster load times and Smart Delivery, which means a single purchase will grant access to the game across Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
To that end, cross-save functionality will allow you to access and share your progression on Xbox One and the two new Xbox Series X and Series S systems.
