Truly nothing groundbreaking on the PS5 announcement. Final fantasy 16, but also coming to pc. Bunch of games we already had seen. Almost all CGI stuff. One button press and the character does all kind of things for half a minute. No dates for any of the games.

Boring to be honest.

Yes, I am very disappointed. If I had the option to use Xcloud on my phone, getting myself into the Xbox ecosystem when series X/S launches is a no brainer.

For newcomers to xbox, which backwards compatible games would you recommend to start with?

Combine that with xcloud and the series s, and you have amazing value for your money. It’s not only about the box, it’s about the complete package. And I’m loving it! This will be my first xbox .

I’ll buy my XBox S together with this game.

This game and gamepass will be a very nice addition to my Switch library!

@playstation_king Playstation literally only has a few exciting exclusives which makes it more appealing in that regard.

In every other way the Xbox series X is more appealing.

I went through the ps5 showcase, not so much is really peaking my interest. I’m not a spiderman fan. And a lot of what Sony showed was multiplatform.

Technical stuff aside, comparing the two:
Horizon, Kena, Deathloop, Ratchet and Clank, GT7 vs Fable, Everwild, Medium, Psychonauts, Forza, and Halo. It’s very close, all the games probably fit into the same slot, but because of Halo Xbox One X just does have a better lineup for me. There’s not a comparable game on the PS5 lineup.

And because it’s all obtainable via gamepass, Xbox is way ahead in my opinion.

I was a Nintendo person only, but this showcase has convinced me I want a next gen console too, and I’m very much leaning towards XBox now. Xbox Game Pass, Everwild, Halo and Fable and some 3d party stuff. All just a very good addition to the switch.
