Mafia 4- Reportedly in Development Being Built with Unreal Engine 5. Large

Mafia developer Hangar 13 has confirmed that a new entry in the series (most likely Mafia 4, although it doesn't have a title right now) is definitely on the way, and work has already begun on the project.

General Manager Roman Hladík was the person who mentioned this earlier today in a blog post celebrating 20 years of the Mafia franchise, but warned that it was multiple years away and he couldn't share anything else for now.

"I'm happy to confirm we've started work on an all-new Mafia project! While it's a few years away and we can't share anything more right now, we're really excited to keep working on this beloved franchise and to entertain our players with new stories."

Earlier this year, it was reported that a new Mafia was in an early development phase at Hangar 13, and that it was being built using Unreal Engine 5. It's also been suggested that it could end up being a prequel set in Sicily.

It sounds like we're going to be waiting potentially years for more details on Mafia 4 (or whatever it ends up being called), but we're still definitely excited for this one. Mafia: Definitive Edition was great, so we have high hopes for this!
