@rustyduck Phill didn't say it was going to be mentioned at the showcase but that it was going to be clear. It is way too soon to call him a liar. The problem with redfall is that all footage prior to release (and even game previews) were at 60fps. I wouldn't be surprised if what we have seen so far from starfield is at 30fps

That was bloody fantastic. Probably my favourite direct style presentation ever. What a difference it makes to have game after game after game instead of having Geoff talking in between segments or having interviews.

Also starfield has game of the year material written all over it altough it will be a hard fight against TotK (critics' darling)

@DeathEgg yep, the dodge is the part I struggled a little bit. Couldn't find if there is a fat roll or not. Regardless I like what I have seen.

I have mixed feelings on this one. I definitely prefer the pixel artstyle but I am not against this one. However I am afraid that they could ruin the gameplay (like they did in generations which for me is Unplayable on 2d sections). If it is not frame by frame like mega drive style get the hell out. Lastly the pricetag is not correct unless they have a LOT of content

This is quite a win for Xbox in going for wider range on Gamepass. I tried P3P after P5R but bounced back after a few hours. This one feels a lot bit too much of the same but I definitely need a big revamp (as I am already not a fan of SMT). Tactics is also not my thing but if it is more on the Mario rabbids style and less fire emblem/xcom, I will give it a go

Did not watch it live so could skip every interview which make it bearable. The show would be a ton better if Geoff would not show his face and just put trailer after trailer...

Not interested I fighters but I will play Diablo IV down the line. Hopefully on GP but if not i will buy a physical copy at certain point

Tears of the Kingdom is in the past since last weekend. I am now doing a first playthrough of Halo: combat evolved as part of the game club and Horizon zero dawn on PC.

@BrilliantBill well I mentioned that. In my opinion after this teaser they need to show the new game (gameplay is preferable), if on top of that they announce/shadow drop a remaster and/or trilogy pack that is awesome but if they only show the latter it will be another day of Xbox is dying on Twitter ..

@Tharsman remasters would be the most underwhelming announcement ever if they don't show the new project after 2 years of waiting lol

It also does not help that Zelda is keeping everyone busy but no 60fps, level design, Enemy AI and above all co-op with progression only to the host (this is just the stranger decisions ever) will ensure this game is forgot completly

A developer owned by Microsoft will release games for game pass. Wow that is a surprise .

P.s: I doubt this is a clue about something being show in the next showcase but just saying we are working on something that we will show in due course

@TakeItEasy the showcase has to be more than what we already know. I would like to see something from the many projects for next 18months (avowed, perfect Dark, contrabando, Gears, etc). Stalker 2 I doubt it will be anytinme soon as the Dev is from Ukraine...

I played it for the first time last year (MGS HD Collection) but most likely is a day one buy for me. It is an absolute masterpiece!!

Nice W from Xbox. Good to see it for a change (as hifi rush feels like it was in other year already...). Let's hope the momentum is kept to the showcase where I really hope they do better than today's presentation (the bar is not high at all)

@Tharsman regarding Mega drive is not an UK thing but PAL regions overall as nintendo does not well particularly well compared to us and Japan. Also europe is the land where grammas call consoles a PlayStation...

I started the Gamepass Journey there as at the time I was mostly playing on PC. However since I bought the series X I have not played much (but I did play and loved Death Stranding). It is ok if nothing spetacular. It is a shame that there are still a lot of games that are not available on PC (some outside GP)

After Gears of War being chosen for April's game club I ended playing the full trilogy. However I would like to have a physical copy with it regardless.

Trying to finish Kingdom hearts 1.5 + 2.5 before Zelda... Only missing Aqua's playthrough of birth by sleep and the cutscenes of the last game in the Collection.

Good to see them patching it but now that I returned my copy as I saw the bad performance in the media I will wait for a half pricetag...

My physical copy arrived yesterday (as I only preorder after reviews) and I decided to return it instead as I don't want to pay 68€ (after 15% off) for a buggy mess. I will come back later for a better game (and pricetag)

One day I will understand why devs add as standard input lag... Today is not that day.

Wow finally a good month! I loved the first back in the day and allways wanted to try the second.

@FenIsMightier in europe for some reason is nearly impossible to find a series X (while in 2021 and early 2022 was easy instead). It is really strange.

Finished Ghostwire Tokyo yesterday with I liked quite a bit and I am now back to Kingdom hearts 2 after a few weeks of pause

@Tharsman they can work semi-independently on a daily basis in terms of managing resources and projecta but they should have close to no say regarding on where and how things are to be published and the expectations in engagement/profit

@Tharsman well the only one that should care about how much money did is Microsoft because it is the one paying the bills .

When he sais "it did not make the money Microsoft was expecting" everyone is just saying that obviously it sold less than a full release without Gamepass but I feel that it also that it did not generate new subscription either

I believe I can detect frame drops as well as anyone that plays on a daily basis but on this one I sincerely cannot see what everyone is talking about. I am playing in performance vsync and the experience is pretty flawless. I cannot feel either drops or lag (but I do tend to use auto aim as much as possible)

Easily Rayman Legends as it is probably the best 2d platformer ever made. Apart from that I only care about south park. The rest bores me to death

Mostly Gears of War 3 (only missing the final act now to finish the 360 trilogy this month) and ghost wire Tokyo (have finished chapter 2 yesterday and really enjoying this one). Kingdom hearts 2 and octopath Traveler II are currently on hold ...

I have played 2h or so and having a blast so far. I can see how it can become tedious if it goes for too long but right now having upgrades every so often keeps me happy.

Ubisoft is two weeks late to april fools...

They should delay! A first party game should have performance above others and a FPS at 60 on the most powerfull console in the market is a must. I bet the problem is tagged with the constant online connection too...

I started it last night and after only doing my standard tweeks (no motion blur and head bob or filters, performance mode and on this case remove horror parts ) the game runs perfectly well for me on series X. However I have only played up to and hour.

Ok, I will wait for the patch. Couldn't care less about it at that performance.

This is a great move! They need to keep expanding and also its rewards program which is still limited to very few countries. Here in Portugal we have Microsoft rewards since last year but not yet xbox for instance

@Spaceman-Spiff not sure if it should be considered but Gears of War series has a big focus on Coop campaigns and they play well as single player (altough the AI is a bit dumb at times)
