Well this may well be the best way to check my recently updated 120hz TV

I liked the demo but the final boss was already too hard for me so hearing about harder than that is something that I will have to keep in mind though... also not sure when I will be able to fully embrace it while I am still far from finishing Starfield and I definitely want to play cyberpunk next

@Cashews I tend to agree with you (that of a dictator makes a good game I only care that it was a good game). Said so this scenario is just bizarre as if they track it by the times a user install the software you can have gamer mobs doing it over and over just to crap on a company they don't like (like they do today on metacritic...)

That list is much better than I would expect. Really full of bangers. It will be interesting to follow how will they update it and how long games will stay.

I would like them not to introduce an "platinum" style achievements as in my case I really like to see my gamerscore going up but I almost never care about going for the boring last achievements. As it is I do rank up some 2000-3000 on a good month while finishing 2-4 games but I believe I've completed no more than 5/6 in 3 years

I am a bit on the fence after 15h+. The game has been very very buggy in my experience and so far I prefer Skyrim

@Dan1283 can't say the same. Generally, in my experience, quick resume works flawless 90% of the games and the other 10% simple does not work and boot the game at the start.

I had a bug where after starting from quick resume it lagged like crazy for 30s to 1min but then it went ok after it.

Had an early start before work this morning just to take the start and character creation out of the way for later tonight (just got into the spaceship). So far so good with a lot to take in the way menus work and whatnot.

Ok, I guess it is time to check the prices on the physical copy!

P.s: however now with Starfield, followed by cyberpunk expansion and super mario RPG I don't see myself playing it before December...

Only now realized it will be available from this night (more like tomorrow). In my mind I thought it was a week later from the early access.

I will be speedrunning through Sea of Stars so I can be ready when Starfield releases on game pass next week

In a way I don't want it to be true as I own the game twice already and never played more than the first hour lol (GameCube physical and Xbox digitally)

@Bartig yeah, I thought the same. Later you get more relics so you can try to change the difficulty to your liking best but it is allways strange. I would prefer the normal difficulty to be more standard

Either I suck at it or the game is hard as heck and leveling takes ages with small upgrades... Turned on the first relic and now it is stupidly easy...

Dammit, now I need to try and beat Chrono cross as quick as possible and get on this straight away ahead of Starfield...

I will have a look at it! This is easily my most anticipated game right now and I am crossing my fingers it does deliver without too much junk

No thank you. Much preferred if they had motion controls as they can add a bit of tight movements when aiming

@Kaloudz I would say outer worlds is also a lighter version in terms of UI, more in line with an Ubisoft Open world.

@Kaloudz if you like games like Skyrim or fallout it as a sort of lighter version of it with really good characters and choices

@BRT15 I had the same exact thought when I saw this interview last night. They are in some way insomniac's Xbox studio as they tackle a lot of projects and have shorter dev time than average and deliver every time.

Call me interested. Hogwarts Legacy is a solid game and this team can deliver great things on a second entry (either a sequel or something new)

@Altaria_97 like the others said you are probably better suited by playing both. You are welcome to share your thoughts from blind forest at the game club if you'll fancy it.

I would prefer if they patch the current gen versions... I pre-ordered the game after reviews came out but returned it when I realized it was so poorly optimized (before opening it). Now I am waiting for a cheaper price

@Casco I also fell in love with the game even though I totally dismissed it at launch. But I am not sure I played as intended as after having vehicles I almost completely stopped walking (even in the snow mountains and went by truck EVERYWHERE )

@UnusedBabyWipes it has been given away for free on Epic game store though (although I played the OG on Gamepass to add to my gamerscore )

I played some 10-15h on PC while in free trial but gave up because I don't have a comfortable setup in the office. If it has the same free trial and even better I can have my save progressed to Xbox I will continue it for sure

I agree pretty much with everything on the article (altough it does not bother me much as I never customized anything prior)

As someone that never personalized the old UI, it feels a bit strange to start with (recently released games on GP is way lower than I would prefer) but I like the option for background image in line with the game you're playing.

@themightyant they should be disappointed no argue on that but it may well be that is on them as well as some lack of demand for the product.

It is kind of crazy to think that a studio that many until recently saw as almost "indie" grew to a staff of 1100 people!! They definitely are in need of some proper internal management shift...

@themightyant the strange part is that is not like that. Around me it was easier to find Series X in 2021 than in the last 12 months. And Phill Spencer mentioned they were trying to fix that during June's Microsoft showcase so it should be fairly common across most markets (maybe apart from US)

Fine by me. I really did not like this game as it is an Ubisoft Open world at its core and I cannot stand them. Funnily enough from all their catalogue of open world games this is easily the one I played the most (as I finish it) as I tend to stop around the 5h mark from boredom

I have to say I never played an Xbox, 360 or One! My journey with Xbox started with the series X in 2021. I kind of moved away from consoles during the 64 era and only the Switch brought me back in force.

I don't care about early access and also season pass (it is very rare that I find the content worth the asking price). I will play day one on GP and if I love the game I will end up buying the physical copy when cheap

@S1ayeR74 not an option my Microsoft, only the CMA itself could do that. In the end it looks like they had a change of mind and agreed to reopen the case and asked MS to halt the process at the CAT

@S1ayeR74 MS could not negotiate directly with the CMA due to their decision to issue a formal blockage of the deal. Their only legal option available was to appeal to the CAT.

@Solidchief that is a game I dismissed for "not really a game" but it was the first game I played this year (as it was on GP) and I loved it. People shouldn't sleep on it.

The options are a bit limited on this one. I played the campaign when it was free to grab at EGS and it is good enough (IV is easily my favourite in the series) and I never touched multiplayer...

@Spaceman-Spiff I would give it a go. I love GTA games (playing the series since the OG back in the 90's) and never cared much about the open world part of it and you can completly ignoring it apart from driving to each mission if you prefer and just do the story parts. While I much prefer GTA IV characters and story V is still very enjoyable.

Really looking forward to this as altough I played a hell off Goldeneye, I never even heard of Perfect Dark until the last decade at the most. Also I had a blast replaying Goldeneye's campaign early on the year and as everyone says this is even better!

@Moonglow "Redfall was expected to be the start of the console push, but it flopped. Motorsports, Starfield, Hellblade 2 and Avowed will drive sales, and they are all coming within the next 12 months;"

I would change that to 18months to be on the safe side. I expect at least avowed if not both to release in the second half of 2024

If it comes to GP at some point I will try it but what I have seen does not make me buying it individually
