Most likely is a no for me as I never enjoyed a open world Ubi game both from gameplay and narrative. Will wait to see if it is somehow different but not raising my expectations by much lol

I do like them and I always have it as the game it is being played

Not really like GTA as there aren't a lot of reasons to explore (and is chapter based). The OG version on PC is in my top10 of all time and although I am not very keen on the changes these version made it is still a solid entry.

Really happy for them! Even more in the kind of screwed environment gaming dev is atm.

I am still playing Blue dragon (midway through second disk) but also bought Steamworld Heist 2 as the first one is easily my favourite Steamworld game.

Great games! Play them fully on Switch already but may give them a go at some point for some gamerscore baby!!

Not that hyped tbf. The decision to make it first person is quite the turn off... And everything I saw looked fairly bland. Now that I quit the auto-renewal for GP I am not this os the one that will make me come back for the month

It is and will be a mess. I have unsubscribed from Ultimate. Since I bought my first Xbox system 3 years ago I bought nearly 200 games (50/50 physical and digital) so now I will start playing those more often

I have been subscribed to GPU since I bought the series X in 2021 but I am now done with it. Unsubscribed first thing this morning

As a nearly 40 years old with no kids I now play more than ever (well not at my peak this year because I have a little less home time since moved jobs...). I only played a couple of games a year since late 90s until 2017 and last year I finished nearly 50 games.

@Lup for me the first impact was that the art style is a tad too cartoonish for the series.

Fantastic show. The only complain from my part is no release dates for the biggest releases of 2024. B overall

@GamingFan4Lyf although I have played for 2-3h I had a similar experience. There are lot of areas and it looks like you can start wherever you want which is not very beginner friendly. The way FF XIV deals with the main story quests works much better

No gaming for me this weekend. A friend of mine, producer of wine, has arranged a festival in his hometown and I am going for a 1000km roadtrip

Played it last year for the first time and already knew about "the lie". Also played it with brightness to the max as I am w bit of a scaredy cat. Regardless of that I have enjoyed my time with it (8/10)

I think this is looking at it from the wrong side. The way I see it is marketing to try more people to give it a chance after the mess it was the next two years after a great launch.

FFS... This generation I got my first Xbox system because I thought they fixed the problems of the past, game pass was The Deal and on top of backwards compatibility they were the most user friendly of the main manufacturers. Now I am pretty sure this will be my last Xbox system (even though I love it) because I don't trust anymore on its leadership and obviously mismanagement, either because they release games that are clearly undercooked or not going in the right direction and also closing studios that release good games from markets they want to get a foot on... This is just crazy.
This time I have to say it, Phill Spencer and Matt Booty are part of the problem and not the solution!!

I will maybe check it to see if my bugged side quests are now fixed but I have done all other quests I could find so I will be back deeper when dlc comes out (not really into Ng+)

@BAMozzy I am now replaying for the "n" time Rise and the reason for me that the first entry is the best is because it has almost no open world. You are directed to an area and that is it (unless you want to get all items). With each new game the amount of side quests and collectables increased.

@Lup imo it is also the best of them but I know many prefer Rise

YES, as long as it comes with compromised frame rate I don't care about it. I did not try a quality mode in at least 2 years

This is a no gaming weekend for me as I am moving job and decided to meet a friend in Barcelona. But next week I will still be playing FF XIV and maybe dragons dogma 2 (not sure if I will return it until it gets patched properly)

I have preordered so did not pay full price tbf but I am way for the weekend and I will have to see some proper gameplay up to Monday to see if I return it or not (like I did with Jedi survivor) and buy a second hand copy down the line

Above all the Gears trilogy and Red Dead Redemption. Lost Odyssey and fable anniversary are still fine too but cannot say the same about fable 2 that has so much motion blur and bad frame rate that makes it almost unplayable

I tried for 10 min before work and the art style is beautiful but the gameplay is not much to my taste (lots of skill trees and gatgets though). I still feel if you start from zero and slowly integrated it can be fun. Not a day one for me but maybe down the line

Still going strong on Final Fantasy XIV beta, currently early on the Heavensward and finally got to a dungeon we as a group could not complete (the first extreme difficulty). I believe I have around 75h since the beta started lol.
It should be the only thing I will be playing until Dragon's Dogma 2 but tented to buy Bolatro not gonna lie...

No 1 - Quick Resume. I got so used to it that whenever it does not work it really gets me off.
No 2 - Game Pass. Love having easy access to games I would not cave for unless at a huge discount and day one access to lots of games I am looking for. In general I play at least one a month and another from my library.
No 3 - Backwards Compatibility. As someone that never got a Xbox system before (and kind of been off from gaming for 10/15 years since the new milenium) I adore it.
On a slight negative I don't like that some first parties ere coming without any physical version and japanese studios are still a hit or miss to release

I love the game but I am not much into DLC unless the dollar value is there. If they want 20$ for 2/3h tops I am out.
