Have we come to expect anything from Xbox these days apart from disappointment?

Isn't the fundamental problem with Avatar that it's, well, Avatar and totally uninteresting?

Maybe MS can add an XP boost to Game Pass and charge another £5.

Okay, let's assume this is real and launches towards the end of 2027. But what state will Xbox be in by that time? Sales of consoles have cratered, retailers are selling off stock or not selling the consoles at all, and add on the terrible publicity about the latest (but not the last) Game Pass price rise.

How big will the market be for an expensive machine like this? We're in niche territory, I fear.

The fact you have to pay to get access to two of the game's factions kills any goodwill I might have had towards this.

30+ hours, towards the end of Act 2 - exploring everything in this glorious world. Bought Day 1 on PS5 Pro because these people deserve every sale (and I don't buy Day 1 on principle).
