We've all heard about these Starfield PS5 rumours for ages now, but today, we've gotten our most concrete details on the release yet. According to the ever-reliable billbil-kun over at Dealabs, Starfield launches for PS5 on April 7th, and pre-orders are set to go live later this month.
Indeed, the leaker has followed up on a previous report; corroborating that Starfield is launching on April 7. There'll be two versions for the Sony platform — a Standard Edition and a Premium Edition — coming in at £44.99 / €49.99 and £59.99 / €69.99, respectively. The report also says that pre-orders are expected to start around the middle of March.

As you can see there, these PS5 versions of Starfield will seemingly launch for quite a bit less than what the game did when it first arrived on Xbox in 2023 - although as the report mentions, the exact contents of these two PS5 versions are not known at this time.
Dealabs' report focuses on the upcoming PS5 release only, which means that unfortunately there aren't any new details on a potential Xbox update to coincide with this new version. Recently, Bethesda itself said that the RPG's next update will "change the game", so we're certainly interested to see that when it launches on Xbox.
