We're not sure where the time went, but it's now been three years since High On Life debuted on Xbox Game Pass to a divisive reception and huge success - and it's returning to the service today for Ultimate, PC and Standard members.
If you haven't had a chance to play High on Life before, now is the perfect time to get into it, as it was announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 that High on Life 2 will be releasing this winter (again on Xbox Game Pass!).
It's a wacky game with silly and rude humour that you'll either totally vibe with, or bit completely put off by (our reviewer wasn't a fan of it!), and as mentioned, this was a massive success story for Xbox Game Pass back in 2022, becoming one of the biggest XGP launches of all time and the biggest single-player release in Game Pass history.
We'll leave you with some more details about High on Life below, and I personally want to mention the expansion as well - High On Knife is a great DLC that I really enjoyed my time with, although you'll have to buy that one separately.
Humanity is being threatened by an alien cartel who wants to use them as drugs. It’s up to you to rescue and partner with charismatic, talking guns, take down Garmantuous and his gang, and save the world!
