same here 6/10 Arkane have made better games .

Arkane themselves made Prey mooncrash which was better than deathloop

10 hours in loving it the story's getting good im loving exploring favourite game ive played so far this year

as per usual i like a game no one else does

really enjoying it walking about exploring havnt noticed any performance problems looks and runs great.

cant understand all the hate for it

Im enjoying it the setting is great and the design its gorgeous. theres always something round the next corner thats visually interesting. its not really an fps shooter, its not bioshock its more half-life exploring and getting from A to B and shoot a few things along the way.

I know im enjoying it as i sit down next time i look 3 hours have passed

by 2033 you will just need an app thats already on your tv to stream the games

you can already do it but it will take 10 years to become more acceptable much the way it took digital a decade

evil within 2 was a great game that was a commercial failure

they will just cloud stream them to switch like alot of the more demanding games on switch have been doing

@spoonman2 same here rewards app broken on the console keeps asking me to update location.

i buy more games because i discover more games on gamepass.

However i use my rewards points and get them on sale so sorry they dont actually cost me anything

@Lavalera yeah i did the same thing Alien isolation had been on gamepass for years so it was going to leave eventually so i got Alien isolation the collection with reward points as well when it was £8.99.

why do people care if Microsoft are making money out of gamepass?

as long as it makes financial sense for the devs and its a bargain for consumers who cares if if Microsoft doesnt get to put more money in the profit column

hardly anyone buys discs games on xbox as they have incentivised going digital by Gamepass and Microsoft rewards.

I if I buy a game i buy it digitally using my rewards points

it will be on EAplay on gamepass this time next year so i will play it then

some games got a resolution boost Gears of war 2 and gears 3 fallout 3 and fallout new vegas all run at 4k

Guardians of the galaxy fantastic game great characters and probably a better story than most marvel films

depends what difficulty your playing it. on harder difficulties its more survival horror

the remake is easier than the original

VR isnt going to take off as Sony are just about to find out again with PSVR2 that will most likely sell less than the original PSVR

it was a good game that they ruined by difficulty. the need to to keep replaying levels to get better to succeed made you feel you weren't getting anywhere

they designed it to take longer and be replayed where as people replay stuff because they enjoy it

@Stocksy the economies going into recession cutting costs and layoff staff if happening everywhere its the normal reaction to economic downturn just because Microsoft's got tons of money doesnt mean they wont try to run more efficiently

i think the error is they posted it rather than it was wrong it was probably they will back track and change the date but it will happen at a now later date but sooner rather than later

@shoeses the reason they stopped backwards compatibility is they dont own the games they have to get publisher permission to make a game backwards compatible because its software based backwards compatibility not hardware based. they ran out of games they could get permission for

just buy your 360 games on disc the consoles will still play them even when they are delisted.

unless youve got a series s then you probably dont care out discs anyway

I liked road 96 it was a good game that i would never have played if it wasnt on gamepass.

Activison make 2 billion a year in profit so you spend $69 billion to make $2 billion doesnt make much sense to me

@NEStalgia yes sticks are replaceable are expensive considering the post of the actual parts. and them being replaceable basically admits they are a problem

the cost of these controllers should use hall effect sensors so they dont drift

give it time the dual sense edge will have snapped springs and stick drift like other ps controllers

unfortunately in the Uk you will have to use NOW tv as sky has the rights to HBO content

imagine they had actually spent $69 billion making games. thats 345 exclusives at $200 million each

im on xbox and I dont care about anything activision makes waste of $69 billion in my opinion could have been better spent elsewhere

they need outside writers to actually write a good story.

I liked halo infinite campaign however i though the story was poor and being stuck to one location certainly curtailed some of the epicness of halo for me.

New IP not selling is why we now get tons of sequels and remakes. its less of a risk in the AAA space

I will do my usual wait 2 weeks before playing it as patches to sort launch issues will be out by then

gears 1 already got remade and gears 2 and 3 run at 4k 60 now on series X
