Three Games Announced For Xbox Game Pass At Tokyo Game Show 2023

Awesome. Three games I wouldn’t buy but really want to try.

This is great three games I would buy but can't afford too

All coming to game pass so i dont have to pay just wish we knew when like a dragon ishin is coming

Really keen on Ace Attorney. Never got around to playing on DS so will give this a go.

So good to see Sega and Xbox being such great friends and releasing a lot of games on day 1. LaD Gaiden, Persona 5 tactica and Persona 3 reload all coming in the following months is huge.

Still gonna keep my preorder on Like a Dragon Gaiden though. It's by far my favourite game series and own all games available on Xbox by RGG. They never let me down so I instantly pre order all their games when they are available to. But good to see for people who like this series but cant afford a lot of new games that it is still playable for them

I will always pay for RGG titles, because RGG are a GOATed studio. But the Ishin, and Gaiden Day 1 Game Pass drops are insane! The value of GP based on those 2 gets alone has grown exponentially.

@Lavalera GOATed studio and series, not many other game series and studios can offer up what LaD and RGG do. I might be fanboying too hard right now, but I don't care, I stand by this statement.

@OM1993 I completely agree with you m8. I was kinda late to the party with Yakuza Like a Dragon to be my first one. But after that I played all the games available on modern platforms made by RGG. Even Fist of the North Star and BInary Domain hehe.

@Kaloudz Ikr? Glad to see these kind of games on gamepass for the JRPG/Japanese games enthusiasts. The last few months of this year are INSANE with gamepass value. I don't know where i have to get the time to play all the games that are coming to gamepass and launch outside of gamepass.

I'll be buying like a dragon. Don't wanna play on gamepass coz it doesn't support the controller I use on PC.

@Lavalera Just out of curiosity, how did Like A Dragon compare to the Kiryu saga (0 - 6)? I've yet to jump into LaD (first ever purchase on XSX as the console launch exclusive, mad to think that's where the gen started!) but 0 - 6 are undoubtedly the best time I've ever had with one single games franchise. Haven't got my teeth into Ishin yet either!

@OM1993 For me personally it's on the same quality level als Y0. It's a Yakuza game in everything, lots of side content, whacky side stories, great main quest line.
If you love it as much as the Kiryu sage depends on if you like JRPG's/turn based combat. The main protagonist Ichiban is kind of a goofy sweet guy which is a big fan and wants to be a hero just like in Dragon Quest games. So you see a lot of similarities with DQ games, especially the "job/role" system and parts where you grind. If you dont mind those parts, you are going to love Yakuza Like a Dragon.

@Lavalera I've not played many JRPGs, Persona 5 may be legit the only one I've played to date, but a great start as that was fantastic. But the beauty in the switch in style is I think one RGG knew to make at exactly the right time. It works in the context of Ichiban and how quintessentially Japanese Yakuza/LaD is - it's a marriage made in heaven as far as I can see. They've obviously kept the brawler style anyway for spinoffs (Judgment and Gaiden) but the mainline series definitely needed freshening up, and whilst I haven't played LaD, I accept the change with open arms. My brother always bangs on about how LaD is the best title in the series so far - I can believe it even as a Yakuza fanboy and someone whose favourite video game character of all time is Kiryu. I do intend to play LaD 7 before Infinite Wealth, I know for a fact I'm going to adore them.

Well that's great news about LAD:TMWEHN. And easy pitch for GP. It's not a "full fat" Yaluza/LAD title.

Glad I'm resited buying ishin last sale.

Already had Man who lost his name preordered but no denying the W this is for Game Pass subscribers. This will help move some consoles as well.

I figured those two Yakuza games would hit Gamepass one day, looking forward to them.

I love that Gamepass is getting the RgG series...downside is it means I use my PS5 a lot less. But Spiderman 2 is on the way!

I...am going to need someone to draw me a chart explaining how all the Like a Dragon/Yakuza games fit together 🤣 I'll have to set aside 1000 hours to get through the whole series on GP now

Forza 97.6gb, separate download high resolution track textures 34.5gb. That’s series x.
Maybe some are not getting the high resolution track textures as it’s a separate download.

Huge Game Pass FLEX on Like a Dragon!! Bit a dry spell leading up but Sept -> early 2024 is beyond craaaaazy.

Which seems to be peeing off some PS owners.
Along the lines of SEGA should be more loyal to Sony and not jumping into bed with MS by releasing games on GP because Yakuza sold well on PS back in the day.

Played ACE Attorney on the DS some, not sure how well it translates to the big screen on consoles.

Always wanted to try an ace attorney game.

Xbox TGS was good but lacked variety. But lucky support in Japan isn't. I get japanese game info from Gematsu & in the last couple of years you'd rarely see a game in the Xbox section outside of Capcom, Bandai Namco & Sega but now there is announcements regularly . Even in the TGS 2023 section they have a list of publishers attending & most have at least one xbox game at the show which is exciting. Unfortunately there is a few that don't like Level 5 but hopefully that will change in time.

I don't see why anyone would hate on GP getting these games (which is great) - especially PS+ owners who've had most of the series on that sub up till now. If Sony want the new ones on their service, they better get the cheque book out

Yes been downloading the new Forza motorsport releasing soon on my series x.
And it downloaded a main game file and a separate high resolution texture pack.
I don’t really have any answers it is just how it download.
