Pretty much from the outset, the new Forza Motorsport has been seen as an 'evolving platform' for Xbox and Turn 10 - with the developer already naming two post-launch tracks arriving in the coming months. And in a recent 'Community Update' on the Forza website, the team further commits to supporting the game in the long run.

The Forza dev says it's "committed to ongoing improvements", including "tweaks to the gameplay systems, features and quality of life improvements, as well as new content that will be introduced every month."

Here's the team's community letter in full:

"Hi everyone. It’s been a week since Forza Motorsport released for Premium Edition owners and, in that time, we’ve been reading your feedback and listening to your concerns. Forza Motorsport has been designed to be a racing platform that will change and adapt over time. This includes tweaks to the gameplay systems, features and quality of life improvements, as well as new content that will be introduced every month.

Ever since players got their hands on Forza Motorsport, the team has continued developing new fixes and is committed to ongoing improvements, some of which will be released as early as next week. Stay tuned for the details and full release notes on our Forza Support website and Forza Motorsport channels.

While this first update focuses on quality of life and stability issues, we look forward to continuing to listen to, and evaluate, our players' feedback in future updates.

Thanks to all our players for being part of the Forza Motorsport community and for your continued support and patience. We will keep you updated on when those changes start to roll out.

We’re excited to shape the future of Forza Motorsport together."

We're not 100% sure on what each month will deliver in terms of pure content, but we'd imagine new cars will be added fairly regularly - especially during the months where new tracks aren't planned. We do know that the game's first post-launch month in November will see the arrival of the Yas Marina circuit - so there's plenty to look forward to with Forza Motorsport next month!

It's good to see this sort of commitment from Turn 10 anyway, especially with how the game is shaping up right now. The bones of the new Forza Motorsport are amazing, we just need more race types, tracks and career mode events to add extra variety to the experience going forward.
