In all my years of gaming I have never seen a game a divisive as Starfield or as many articles about every single aspect of the game, whether perceived good or bad. It is too much at this point. Just play the darn game at this point. I have never seen so much hate or anger for a game in my life. We all know why.

Here it is why it is a 10 for me. I am a huge Penn State football fan. The game started at noon. I have not missed watching or seeing a game ever in my life. I was playing this morning and got lost in the RPG goodness surveying a planet, finding new bases, caves etc. I went to get a shower at 1 PM and realized I completely forgot that Penn State was on. The first time in my life. My comment may seem dramatic but that is how engrossed I am in this game.

@Reptilio If TOTK came out as an Xbox exclusive, it would have gotten an 8. I loved BOTW but TOTK is the same game with 20 times more to do, huge same open world, lots of emptiness, etc. I couldn’t last past 10 hours. BGS and MS gets crucified for jank, old engine, bugs, it takes too long to get going, graphics are poor, bad missions, not revolutionary, not the new standard for RPG games, only 30 FPS, bad inventory system, not enough ammo. I could go on and on. Most of which is hogwash. Is TOTK that good? It doesn’t matter because it is Nintendo and gets a 10. There is such a media bias. They want Xbox to fail. I have no idea why. And by the way Starfield even with it’s jank is absolutely amazing.

The whole notion that it takes too long to get going is just an excuse to lower the score. How many games take awhile to get going? Uh, anyone play Elden Ring? That took me months to understand it and to "get going".

This game is great. Once you learn the ropes it is incredible. Unfortunately this game has become so divisive. The hype surrounding it, Bethesda bugs, half the gaming world wanting it to be terrible because it is not on Playstation, certain media outlets with an negative agenda before it was released, etc (Looking at you PC Gamer, Gamespot and Rockpapershotgun, among others). Sad times that a game gets so scrutinized for all the wrong reasons. Personally, I give it a 9 or 9.5.

It is buttery smooth on the X. I am about 4 hours in and love it so far. There is definitely a learning curve though which can be frustrating until you figure it out.

I did have a bug already where the game froze and I was forced to restart. Other than that it has been fine.

I'm sold. Ready to play a 8 PM tonight.

I liked it. Sounds great combined with the original Starfield soundtrack. Man do some of you like to complain.

@Dusk_Actual Everything on Push is given lower scores. Quake II Remastered received a 7!! They only promote Sony first party games and overate them. I mean, they gave the Demon's Souls remake from Bluepoint a 10 (which by the way is an excellent remaster) but gave Elden Ring a 9!!!

Sony has paid too much to exclude Xbox with these games. The future may be different however.

As long as I can play my downloaded or bought games I don't care about the very few ads. Plus I like browsing the store to see the sales and watch trailers of upcoming games. Third world problems.

Tried to play it. Just wasn’t my cup of tea. Glad others enjoyed it though. Not sure why it received nominations for awards. I guess it was the PS5 factor.

I have both and the PS5 controller seams at least to me more like a gimmick. I like the Xbox one better and I think it is more ergonomical.

I must be blind because I think the demos look incredible. Why are people constantly complaining.

Just got to a breaking point in DS2. Such a frustrating game after beating in order Elden Ring, Bloodborne, DS3 and DS. May just stop playing and wait for Starfield. Does anyone have any tips for DS2?

I refuse to play until one year. Sony moneyhatted this game as well.

The fact that the FTC is using Sony/Jim Ryan testimony as a case against this acquisition is utterly ridiculous. I thought this was the Fair Trade Commission. Obviously not. Lina Khan is an embarrassment to America.

Despite some, I will enjoy playing this at 30 FPS on the X and S. No issues here. This game is going to be incredible. If it is such blasphemy that this will not be 60 FPS on the X, don't play it. Or go buy a beefed up computer.

Never played Diablo before. This looks really good. May have to buy this although I have never been a fan of top down or isometric graphics.

The FTC and CMA definitely colluded over this despite what the media is reporting. I guess socialism is best.

Playing TOTK now. It is fantastic. I will say though Immortals Fenix Rising is one of the best games I have played. It is much different than BOTW. Although there are some comparisons, it is much different and has it’s own unique style. The gaming press loved to make it a copycat of Zelda which is ridiculous. It was so annoying. It is great game and I give Ubisoft a lot of credit.

Yikes. Embarrassing for Xbox. How could they release a game in such a sorry state? Is this like Fallout 76 again?

Despite all the negative press recently and a lot of it unjustified, I will be playing this as it looks great to me. The only issue I may have is that I ordered the new Zelda game. By the time I play I may get the performance mode.
