Kinda sad about it, KT were doing amazing work, WRC 8, 9 and 10 are the best rally games ever, up there with Dirt Rally 2.0

@Tasuki yes and no. It's a tactical and realistic shooter. You die from one bullet and all that, basically a military sim

I bought Monster Hunter Rise on my switch recently, so that and Mass Effect 2 on the Xbox

Started playing the game and seeing the sport a couple of weeks ago and it's great, really fun. One of the more action packed sports out there, the course of a game can change in the blink of an eye, the playoffs have been great. Now that it's on game pass you lose nothing by trying it

@nofriendo sadly the copilot is like half the experience of a rally, you can turn off the copilot voice on the WRC games and just use the turn signs at the top of your screen but that means you are constantly looking up on the screen and looking less at the road ahead, if you're fine with that great for you. I can't play rally games without the copilot's notes, is like the only genre of game I play without music because I need to concentrate on driving and what the copilot is telling me. But hey, WRC10 it's free for the weekend so try it out, you have nothing to lose

I'm loving WRC 9 so it's great to try 10 with the new rallies. Kinda hoping about trying MH Worlds so I can see if it looks ok on the series S or is that bad

Watching it live with my GF while we eat, can't wait for Forza Motorsport, i bought my Series S just for that game

They also said that 60fps are coming in the patch for Series S

@FraserG yeah, Grid was the thing that made me believe is a bug 100%, I understand the confusion because FIFA having the tag it's normal because it should release this month along with NHL 22. Who knows at this point with BF, maybe EA wants to release it early so they can revive the servers. I'm pretty sure that Grid is not releasing this soon though.

Is just a bug, all EA games have the tag. Even Grid Legends that released 2 months ago and that isn't coming to gamepass that soon. The games that we can expect this month are NHL 22 and FIFA 22, BF 2042 in a couple of months and Grid by the end of the year.

That's awesome, the game is great, now even more that they added servers in south America a couple of days ago and now I can play online without lag

@TheSilverFalcon yeah, some bosses were hard and the initial learning curve was steep but after that it gets easier, my first souls game and i finished it in 50 hours and 10 hours more for all the optional bosses, really enjoyed my time with it

Currently I'm enjoying Tennis World Tour 2, it's the better modern tennis game but that's not a great accomplishment, so I will try Matchpoint, can't say no to a free game

Nobody cares about coop, they need to focus on the multiplayer, that's what keeps a game alive and 2 maps 6 months after release and another 6 months until the next ones is just plain and simple bad, they need to put another studio to support 343 and just make maps and content for Infinite

@RedSabat yeah, Xbox needs to start putting some limits or some deadlines for these teams that are still in pre production, not fully in production or still don't have a strong direction for the game. Nobody here's wants devs to get crunched but some of these teams need to start showing some progress.
Look at last E3, in almost year we only had one game released that was premiered on that show (FH5), the other 3 Xbox exclusives were games we knew from way before (Psychonauts 2, Halo and Age 4). I think Xbox has the upper hand for now over Sony in that they can put good games on gamepass to fill the void between exclusives but damn, we really are going to go 11 months with no Xbox exclusive, from December with Halo until Starfield in November

6 months after release we got 2 maps and now we have to wait another 6 months, yeah this is unacceptable. For what it's worth, at least all the studios chained to the CoD mines over on Activision are responsible of bringing new content all the time to Warzone, Xbox need to do the same, have 1 or 2 more support studios just to make maps and content for Infinite.
This hands off approach to development is not working, only one AAA this year, problems at the initiative and undead labs, Rare doesn't know what to do with Everwild, Turn10 not releasing a game in 5 years and still getting that game delayed, Mojang is doing the absolute bare minimum and 343 letting one of the best Halo experiences ever die a slow death. At this point looks like the only serious studios are Playground, The Coalition and Double Fine. At least when we start getting the Bethesda games we are going to see what good studios are capable of

@Muddy wow dude, really entitled opinion there. Gotta be nice to think that 70 dollars for a game is fair in every country. Having a game cost the same in a country where the avg salary is 200usd and in a country where the avg salary is 1000usd or more it's a stupid decision. But the worst it's that there are sad persons like you that gets happy when other people can't afford things.

Releasing in the middle of the season as always and now without regional pricing thanks to EA, no thanks, waiting for EA play it is

@uptownsoul clearly you don't know what you are talking about, Xbox One showed bad performance on games even at release, for example Ryse at 900p 30fps and can't even hold steady those FPS. While Series S plays new and really graphic intensive games at 1080p60, 1440p60 (FH5, Halo Infinite, BF 2042, AC Valhalla, Far Cry 5, Gears 5, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Marvel's Avengers) and some at even 120fps like Gears 5 multiplayer or CoD Vanguard. Clearly the console show it's capabilities and that good devs can use them, something we never saw on the One S model.

@uptownsoul that's not what I'm talking about, the Series S is great and I'm really happy with it. I'm talking about how a lot of games that the Series S could move perfectly, run really bad because they are the hideous One S versions. MH World at 800p or RDR2 at 864p and 30fps are two examples. It's my only complaint with the system, the lack of space I just solved it by buying the 1TB expansion card.

Damn, having a Series S really makes you despise and hate with passion the One Fat/S model, what were they thinking when they made that useless console?

Yeah, Remote Play it's awesome, I use it all the time on my laptop when my GF wants to use the TV. Even though it is via streaming, it's kinda bizarre to see brand new AAA games at high graphics settings running super smooth on my 5 year old laptop

This series is absolutely incredible and True Colors is a great addition to the franchise, can't wait for more games

The game has a lot of systems and mechanics, the tutorial is barebones so you need to look up some begginner guides and videos on youtube, that's how i learned to play on PC, Paradox Grand Strategy games are incredible once you understand what you are doing

@Bleachedsmiles not so much of a good feature when only a couple of countries have it. I prefer the features I can use on my Xbox everywhere like back-compat and Quick Resume

@awp69 it is a good game but it's not worth it to buy day 1 every year. They release in the middle of the F1 season and incomplete, only the new cars are there on release day. No new tracks and F2 cars, those release in the following months via updates. Imagine if the FIFA games instead of September, released on January every year and with some leagues missing and you have to wait to April or may to play those missing teams and players, right when the season is already over.

Sad that they got the WRC license, Kylotonn have been doing an excellent job with the last WRC games and Codies have been doing terrible with the yearly releases of the F1 games, hoping the rally team is way better than those lazy devs from the F1 games

Yay for F1, since the EA buyout, Codies have destroyed regional pricing of the games on a lot of countries, mine included, for reference F1 2021 costs 6x more than F1 2020, same with Grid Legends vs Grid 2019. Can't justify paying that much, especially for the F1 games that year on year have minimal improvements, release in the middle of the season and not even fully updated. Sucks for the games of my favorite sport but still glad to have EA Play under GPU wing.

@Kezelpaso really hoping it's for both consoles, looks like a fun game and i wanted to try it but 30fps on a racing game is a no go for me

@JetmanUK before this article was posted I saw the original upload from The Crew 2 Twitter and in every mention of 60fps it says Series X and PS5. Not even a mention of Series S or the most commonly used "Series X|S"

@armondo36 the latest info was that Forza motorsport is uncertain, probably first half 2023 and Redfall got delayed to 2023 too. Those other games aren't exclusives, just gamepass filler.

This year really shaping to be the worst in a long time, only one AAA exclusive in Starfield, MS really dropped the ball for 2022, at least it means that 2023 will be packed

I bought the 1TB one for 200usd, totally worth it and super necessary for the Series S, it changes drastically the console experience, now it really feels like a next gen console experience, 364gb is not acceptable on 2022

Hell yeah for Guardians, now the only 2021 game I want on gamepass is Life is Strange True Colors and we're done, great job Xbox

It's a 7, the campaign looks nice and it's really fun, the only bad thing is that both campaigns are like 5hrs long in total

Quick Resume is the best feature ever on this generation, I don't want to use my switch anymore because even small indie games like Darkest Dungeons or Hades have loading screens that are too long, playing Animal Crossing takes like 2 minutes of waiting for the game to load

@GMoney2432 yeah, I got used to called it like that because my GF doesn't know the buttons and is easier for her to locate it as the hamburger button over the menu or start button lol
