@MasterTanookiChief na just hate Trillion dollar companies running my favorite game series into the ground and making the dev cycles so long they think nostalgia will be enough for you to buy the next half assed version and forget the ladg disappointment

@Coletrain its a PC handheld, 90% of my digital xbox games library will not work on it.

@Romans12 yes redfall, starfield , south of midnight the last flight sim, the Forza with the longest dev time but sucked the most. A half aassed halo after the longest dev time ever. Sorry but the quality has been lacking for a long time, perfect dark looks like another turd. Clockwork bioshock also looks very dated, barely better looking than actual Bioshock a 360 game

@baldursnate yeah I am done with this, xbox just cannot seem to get their ***** together, for more than 5 mins, they care more about PC and PS5 players these day's than console players who have been with them for decades. It's been wait for next year since half way through the 360 era, well my good will is spent Phil. Why dont you buy a few more publisher that are in decline so we can play the worst versions of their games day one in gamepass because that is now what you are selling

Sure Phil, after all the empty years I am sure, next year will be special, and if not that year well the year after that. 6 years to make half a Halo game, now we are 4 years in with no new game announced, so its fair to say something new is years away, 6 years since the last gears and nothing but hey guys we will talk about it later, dont worry that we have not hit the quality mark of the originals after 3 attempts and now have taken double the time it took to make one of the classics, everything is just hunky dory..But here, have a few more 7 out of 10 just barely better thakn shovelware titles to keep you going.

@TapeLoader I made as much effort in my comment as the devs made in making a game with all the bells and whistles in terms of graphics we expect in 2025. Why when we can have games that look like Alan Wake 2, do the vast majority of xbox games look cartoony and something that looks last gen or 2 or 3 gens ago. Why even talk about the power of the XSX. When after 5 years we have only a handful of first party games that even try. Why are you ok with?

No one is paying 80 bucks for a PS2 era looking game. The price is designed to make gamepass seem more appealing

I hope the 6 people who want a portable PC from Rog with worse performance than the other non xbox branded rog allys will eagerly await the price announcement

Thank good, a janky walking sim, I mean there were just too many action packed cutting edge graphics games, so I am relieved we got this borefest, we wouldn't want to get too excited now would we

This sounded interesting, I enjoyed mad max so had some hopes for this. This announcement came at a time when Xbox management had run xbox into the ground because they forgot they need an actual USP for people to buy their console, games were usually that for most platform holders but MS said F it to that and then when they were getting decimated in sales they bought a handful of indies and B tier studios and announced a lot of games to make it look like they remembered how to run a console business. Contraband was on of the vaporware titles announced

@OldGamer999 yay another remake of a remake, cannot wait, the halo universe is vast yet we have had 7.5 games with quality going off a cliff with the last 3. It' still breaks my heart what they did with is game series The fact that they ***** up the spiritual reboot so much meaning the next is a remake tells us all we need to know about the future of halo, dont get me wrong HI was good , but it was half a halo game with yet more focus on esports players rather than fun, someone needs to tell 343 or what ever the ***** they are called now halo was supposed to be a game casuals could gave fun with, pro players make up.1 % of the player base, although I suppose in that 343 drove away most of the casual halo fans pro players make up a bigger proportion of the few thousand people who still play a game that used to have millions of concurrent players on a single platform

@Kaloudz I have hopes that they finally nail SOD formula, it has so much potential, I really hope they find a way to play with friends but we all gain progression, maybe it's not possible but a coop focused mode would even suffice

Depends on the time, hopefully get the kids to bed then crack open a cold beer. And hope we see gameplay and not BS cg trailers. Have enjoyed the last few probably more than the subsequent games, but always live in hope that things will get better

@Altaria_97 man to call atomic heart a walking sim either means you never played beyond the intro or have no idea what a walking sim is, the into was slow yes, but if was non stop action after that

@somnambulance Not sure what you mean by broken, and to give it the title of most broken this generation is ridiculous, we have had some seriously broken games launch this gen, Cyberpunkand Redfall spring to mind, I had zero issues and enjoyed the experience overall.

@Kaloudz I am talking about the latest round of price hikes where they made the Xbox the most expensive console, sorry but to me that is them just saying ***** it we dontvcare if we sell anymore consoles especially when all their games are now going to be on the less expensive more popular console. And in terms of games, I am not saying there have not been good games, but great have been non existent except for the forza horizon games. Like I also said we have had a couple of good months where we got some good games, last year was pretty lame, hellblade was a borefest walking sim, flight sim was a massive step down from the previous one, and after recently finishing Indy I can say, the ***** boss battles and wonky animations and terrible combat overall dropped it from an 8 to a 7 for me. I woukd have taken an new wolfenstein any day over that, then thus year we get a half passed south of Midnight and a nothing soecu avowed followed by a remaster and thd doom which so far has been the highlight, and them the rest of the year is filled with a remaster of a remaster of gears and the same with Tony Hawk, ohband the annual hit or miss COD. So yeah not sure why you think MS are doing great with the games, as a gamepass subscriber I think I try all MS first party games, but maybe I missed some so please do let me know

Sorry been gaming on xbox for 20 years, but apart from Forza horizon, everything xbox has released in the last 4-5 years has been subpar hitting new lows for Gears and Halo? Halo used to be a system seller and in the space of 6 ***** games and a DLC (ODST) they ran it into the ground.

Their new strategy of shooting xbox in the head and going 3rd party will make them some money in the short term, but if Starfield, Redfall, The worst Forza game in 8 games, a barebones halo, a girl boss soulless Gears game, a copy paste Crackdown, and all the other 7 and 8 out of 10 games they call first party these days is the new norm, they will even fail as a 3rd party. Gamepass with other peoples games might work long term who knows

@Kaloudz apart from raising the price on a 5 yearold console making it more expensive than the competition that is Kirb stomping you in sales, yes apart from that xbox has had a couple of good months lately, not much to sing and dance about since the middle of the 360 gen. But yes I joe they finally figured out, gamers like goid quality games on a regular basis, they used to know this

Loved everything about V1 and V2 but the build quality, the bumper buttons in particular suck ass. It's insane that they seem worse than the standard controller. I will not be getting it day one that is for sure and having been fooled twice the shame is very much on me so 3rd time I will need some seriously good evidence they have improved vastly

I love the console, the fact that I can access my now over 400 digital Og Xbox, 360, X1, and SX games on one device and in many cases runs the games better than ever before is great, I know PC could do this for a long time but it's nice get this experience on a device that cost less than a low end graphics cadd, I also have very little time to game these days and play lots of games rather than focus on 1 so quick resume might be my favorite console feature of all time.

I quite enjoyed what I played, I just never got back to it, gamepass has been insane this year. I will probably only get to catch up when we are in the usual dry patch when next gen starts

Ok when I typed in the Sinking City remastered it says I own the deluxe edition. Cool. It's only 3 gigs bigger than the version I had installed

@EVIL-C @EVIL-C Well you have to buy gamepass access and it is digital only, and there simply won't be any full AAA games on disks to wait for in the very near future games will be so big they would need multiple disks and no publisher is going to want to do that

I think, I bought this on sale a long time ago, if we go to the new version will it just allow us to download?
