@BAMozzy yeah I agree, I preferred the darker grittier tone of 1. 4 and 5 were a joke, fighting the boring ass robots was such a let down. The graphics were pretty the story sucked ass, coukd not give a flying ***** about the bland replacements. Glad they scraped it and went back to the og cast.

***** the stalker devs, theh only recently fixed this game on xbox and it wiped my save. These p***** used xbox gamers as beta testers for PS5. Well I will finish it before it leaves, then they wont see a cent from me

As for the XP thing if true its just another petty ***** move by Sony and the main reason I will go PC when I am done with Xbox.

@HonestHick yeah I enjoy COD, there is no game that matches it for gunplay, I agree they have called in a few games now due to lack of competition, they need a proper next gen version, its insane we are 5 years into this gen and they are still ***** out an X1 and PS5 version

@HonestHick its ok, team mates still suck ruining the gameplay, all the maps just seem boring, every map looks like a bug construction site or so it feels. And whats with the washout colours, people wanted the gameplay from thevold games not the ***** graphics

Who cares whether they release one or not, they have shown us they intend screw us, and most of the diehard fans I know are finally out. They were in a death spiral anyway but the latest decisions seem they wish to accelerate the ***** show, I guess they gor tired of the slow motion car crash, and decided to out their foot on the pedal instead

@InterceptorAlpha I am with XBL since 2005. Pretty sad to see it end like this, but end it must. MS leadership now have no interest in gammers they see us as cattle to be milk or discarded and their actions lately show us they could not give a ***** if we stay or go, if you stay after this, I am not sure what they need to do to make you upset.

I am done with Xbox and gamepass, was gonna consider the next box but it seems MS are hell bent on removing themselves from the games industry.

@Markatron84 the game was announced in 2021, either they had started work on it prior to 2021 which is even worse or they had nothing to show after 4 years, at some point its on the dev to deliver, its also on MS that they allow so many teams so much time before they either pull the plug or ***** it out the door. They need to have better oversight. Games should not be announced until they are about a year out and everyone is at least 100% sure the game is coming out, companies that cancel games after years if dev time just look really incompetent

So tired of these useless MS execs, constantly flapping their lips, but when they are not openly lying they are giving non answers. Either shut the hell up or give actual information.

Pretty clear they are done with consoles, upper management are also done with taking a loss on the hardware. They will focus on PC, Switch 2 snd PS5. What ever they release next will be niche product ifvthe news is correct it will essentially be PC with an xbox emulator to play your current xbox games, I guess they will rely on the fact that it will be a PC to ensure 3rd party wont completely skip it, otherwise no one is making games for a console that will sell maybe 10 million units if they are lucky with the projected price point, the wild card of course that it could be like a steam box that is upgradable but the main configuration will be known by devs meaning it could be entry level PC with really well optimized games.

@jesse_dylan na I prefer games that are not trying to push mental ilness as a life style choice. We dont tell anorexics that it is ok not to eat or rhe morbidly obese that one more large pizza is a great idea, those with gender disphoria do not need people reaffirming there delusions, they need treatment yes but not surgical or sterilization that is nazi level *****. There are hermaphrodites that is a separate thing. Anyway we are bombarded with this stuff every where else I would like to keep itvout of video games

@Lup it was not hated for the sake of being hated it was hated for a very specific reason there are many youtube videos going into great detail about the ***** stuffed into this entertainment product. Remember a really nice sandwich with a turd hidden with in is still a ***** sandwich

It still amazes me that MS turned one of the biggest games series on the planet at the time and my favorite games series ever (Games 1-4, actually liked the mp of 5) into a ghost town.

@IOI m they gave up the xbox quite awhile ago, the PC and PS5 are their focus now

@Medic_alert I fired it up, just to see, and I think it still looks pretty good, did not intend to pay this at all and ended up finishing Act 1

I often find the games used as ammo by console warriors often are really really overrated and when they do go to the competition, suddenly everyone on both sides agree the game was average all along. Hellblade springs to mind. Not saying that is the case here, but after watching a lot of gameplay of Helldivers I always thought it looked pretty repetitive and would get old fast.

@BleedingDreamer Good for you. Halo CE is in my top 10 favorite games of all time, I played it to death, I played it a few years back again with my Nephew and there are definitely parts that aged more gracefully than others. Most of my top 10 fav games of all time, where of a time and place and some like metal gear sold from the Playstation 1 days I may even find unplayable now. But I still have great memories and enjoyed the hell out of them at the time. Others like Geometry Wars or Portal seem to age quite well

@BAMozzy never said HI was worse than 5 in terms of campaign, its a little unfair comparing HI to H:CE considering the advancements in hardware and game design. Yes H:CE is now not that great an experience.

Mainly played a big of the BF6 beta, still underwhelmed by the visuals at least on XSX, but I enjoyed what I played. From what I played last weekend and this its enough for me to know Ibwill be buying it. There are definitely some things they could tweek but overall seems like a pretty good BF game, and I have not spent a lot of time with BFV

@HonestHick yeah been down this road too many times, if it was either a full remake of 1 or a really good remaster of 2, I might have been interested, but hey this is for the Pink Pony club

@BAMozzy I agree 100% my PS3 pads are now gone gir ever, I could still use my 360 pads, I know its more expensive to buy a rechargeable battery pack or rechargeable batteries but itsca hell of a lot cheaper than having tk buy a new controller or send it off to have the battery replaced

@shoeses this, I finished Halo 5 a few times and still have no clue WTF was going, even in infinite the cool part of the story was tiny cut scene

@Master_Cthulhu70 I am not buying anything xbox branded again until I see what they plan to release for next gen, if its not a PC/Console hybrid and reasonabley priced I am just going full PC next gen, I wont have access to .my back catalog which is the major downside but would still have access to xbox, most PS games and stay subscribed to gamepass if they improve the quality.

@Llamageddon what gave you that idea, surely not the zero advertisements for 15 years, on tv or any major events, or the fact they did zero partnerships with game or electronic stores or did anything to secure the same storeshelf space as Sony or Nintendo, aways giving the impression that xbox had practically no games compared to the other 2. Or it could not have been all the programs like rewards open to US but not Europeans

Cancel a few more games, jack the price of the series X by a few hundred along with another gamepass price hike, only put D tier games or shovelware or utterly meh 1st party games on gamepass, rename all their terrible studios 5 more times, announce more remasters of remasters, I mean more of what they have done since the launch of series X, I assume the goal is to ***** all over the legacy of the brand before dropping hardware, at least that is my take away from there actions

@nomither6 I agree it has been the worst gen in a long time, I normally by both consoles as there used to plent quantity games each, but did not bother this gen, I am sure when next gen starts again the hand full of games I missed out on will be remastered and released again.

More trash. I think I will let my sub run out, it seems all we get now are their 7 out of 10 trash games and shovelware
