We're getting close to five years since the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S first hit the market, and although they've clearly struggled in comparison to the PS5 and Nintendo Switch, they've still proved very popular consoles overall.
There's an argument in some circles that because of Microsoft's new "this is an Xbox" campaign, the value of owning a Series X or S has essentially decreased - because you can now play Xbox first-party titles in more places than ever.
That may well be the case for some fans, but the benefits of owning an Xbox Series console - backwards compatibility, FPS Boost, Quick Resume, Smart Delivery, Xbox Game Pass (etc.) also shouldn't be ignored. That's not to mention the fairly large list of Xbox exclusives that have yet to cross over to other consoles too!
