It exceeded my expectations. There are a lot of chuds hating on Bioware right now but this definitely has shown that they managed to make an incredible game despite the hurdles they faced during development. I will always support single player games and I can't wait to pre-order.

One of the best showcases in history! I'm so excited for Dragon Age The Veilguard and for Life is Strange Double Exposure. I'm pre-ordering as soon as possible!

I actually thought that the game died, considering how everyone stopped talking about it on Twitter. I remember a sharp drop in players for some reason... Anyway, if it doesn't require a monthly subscription, I might check it out on Xbox.

I can't wait to get my hands on it. The new name is truly fitting, considering the focus on our protagonist and our companions. It's hinted that Solas (The Dreadwolf) isn't the only villain and that there's even a bigger threat than him so again, the name change sits perfectly.

I finished Callisto in May and it's probably the worst so-called "next-gen" game I've ever played in my life. Terrible characters, generic/uninspiring story, the most dreadful combat in the history of horror games, constant loading screens, etc. I wouldn't play it again even if it was the last game on Earth.

@Cherip-the-Ripper You're welcome man! I've dabbled with some "shady" websites for cheaper codes (I know lmao) and I've never had a bad experience, at least so far. But I don't recommend buying them unless you know what you're doing.

@Cherip-the-Ripper I managed to find a code for 20 bucks lol (Deluxe edition).

I'm probably in the minority but I found it extremely underwhelming. Kudos to them for fixing it but the writing just didn't do it for me... The world was pretty but so empty and dead. Maybe I'll check out the sequel one day but overall, Deus Ex was far superior game with a similar theme.

@Weapon_Wheel Why isn't Playstation (Sony) doing the same then? They have locked Final Fantasy as an exclusive, not to mention other games that were perfect candidates for Xbox too. Didn't Phil say that by purchasing Zenimax, Xbox would get incredible "EXCLUSIVES"? Only and only IF Sony decides to port PS games to Xbox, then your argument will make sense.

LOL, Microsoft is continuing to destroy and devalue Xbox. Why even bother at this point? Doom should be a CONSOLE SELLER, just like Playstation has GoW. I'm really starting to regret switching to Xbox this gen...

@Tecinthehead That's true. What I meant is, I hope they manage to snatch away rights to Helldivers 2. Kinda like Remedy did with Alan Wake.

That's why I switched to Microsoft/Xbox in the first place. Sony is one of the most anti-consumer corporations on Earth and I got sick and tired of their constant b*llsh*t. Don't get me wrong, Xbox isn't a saint but compared to these guys, they're more than alright. Poor Arrowhead, I just hope they find a way to escape Playstation's grasp.

The first game of the trilogy is definitely the best when it comes to the story and overall pace. Rise was quite decent but it didn't have the emotional impact that I was looking for. Shadow was okay I guess, interesting premise but it felt rushed and didn't have a satisfying conclusion. Overall they are a must play.

I'm actually furious to hear this. It's an amazing game that deserves way more success. I get the "no physical" argument but I think it's launch window wasn't the best decision from Remedy. Hopefully the game finds strong legs and maybe the upcoming DLCs will boost sales. I for one can't wait! (I have the Deluxe edition)

Alan Wake II. I'm at the final chapter and it's a damn good game. But I didn't connect with it as much as I did with Control.

Umm not to be mean but why would Bethesda tell you about their plans and yet you're not working for them? They don't owe you anything. I respect the modding community but you're straight up delusional for thinking that.

Just because it's on hold, doesn't mean it'll never happen. From what I've heard, it sold decently but it did underperform a bit. They are going all hands on the next Battlefield so it's understandable that they want their best studios on it.

I left a mean comment on their Twitter page and I have zero regrets (nothing toxic, just criticism). Nasty business practices should be called out. Imagine taking Xbox money and bailing just because you want to suck up to PS fans? No ma'am, you deserve to lose money over that. I'm sick and tired of devs playing into the "console wars".

It's far more than "server issues". People have reported game-breaking issues among many missing QoL features. It's a half-baked cash grab from Aspyr and I'm so GLAD I didn't fall for their b**lsh*t. How on Earth did they manage to mess up a simple remaster of a twenty year old game?!

@Beetlebum91 Don't get me started on their botched Kotor 2 remaster! A terrible studio when it comes to ports...
I'll just stick with EA's 2017 version.

It's getting blasted on social media for it's broken multiplayer, lack of invert y axis option, buggy cutscenes, fps drops and general lack of polish. I'm really glad I didn't get blinded by nostalgia this time. No matter what anyone says, these games are extremely dated and can't hold a candle to EA's Battlefront II.

Yikes! That's a really bad decision considering it drops frames too often (the pre-launch build). The Series X is more than capable of running 90% of AAA games at 60fps (with scaled back details of course) and yet it seems everyone just puts an FPS cap and call it night..

Definitely "inspired"

Even in the previews last year, the game looked like it stuttered every time there was combat or something going on in the background. Maybe the engine is at fault here? Sure the RE engine does wonders for smaller hub areas but this is a huge open world and that means rendering a ton more details compared to their previous titles.

@Lup Same. Day one for me. As soon as pre-orders go live, I'm pulling the trigger.

We're heading into another crash if they keep up this trend of letting talented people go. Disgusting corporations shouldn't get away with this easily, but gamers are more concerned about yellow paint instead of actual people who DEVELOP the games.

@Fiendish-Beaver I'm excited for Greedfall too! But since I despise early-access games, I'll definitely play something else until they release the full game on consoles. I don't know why they decided to go with early access and yet their previous two games were ready for full release...

Hmm.. I don't think we'll see first party bangers BUT maybe some of their third party financed projects? I mean, Forspoken should come to Xbox in 2025 (I know...) but that's a bad example I guess.

@Lup Why is it always the AA games that get the "i'Ll WaIt fOr A SaLe!1" treatment when you yourself know how unsustainable AAA development is these days, not to mention the bloated budget required. I buy every game from Focus on day one and will continue to do so.

Literally counting down the hours, the wait is killing me lol. Guys please, if you can, support AA games and buy this at launch. These types of games are actually sustainable in the long run, plus you can experience something fresh and unique. Also, it got a 10/10 from an outlet too.

I like the community on PureXbox but I'm truly shocked by the reaction of some of the users here. Everyone here put their trust and hard earned money in Xbox and their ecosystem, yet some here are defending this mad decision lol? Sigh...
Before people get mad at me, I want to point out one thing. This isn't an industry trend where everyone is dropping exclusives and Microsoft is the first one to port over their games. Sony and Nintendo would never dare to try something like that, for as they know how their games sell when locked to a platform! Monopoly in the gaming market is a death sentence for consumers and pretending like this will allow GamePass to "ImProve aNd OffEr BettEr GamEs" is utter delusion. Stop kissing corporate boots and let them know that we want to save Xbox.

@Kaloudz Let's look at this from a different angle. Again, I switched from PS to XBX to play their exclusives on GamePass. And I convinced my friend to switch too, a die hard PS fan. If Microsoft decides to do this, why should I keep my S? Playstation has their own exclusives plus Microsoft stuff. GamePass is available on PC so that argument falls in the water. Again, why should we continue to invest in Xbox if we don't have any reasons to do so?
