It's getting glowing reviews across the board. Bioware is back and I'm already pacing around my apartment, itching to get into the game. Ughhh why isn't it October 31st??!!!!

Yeah, I think we're going to see a rebrand next year. I highly doubt they'll even bother releasing a new console, considering they're killing their own brand. They had so much potential and yet for some measly scraps, they completely sold out. Just to clarify, I'm not a console warrior but I do care about the system I invested in.

@Fishmasterflex96 Umm hunty, we are NOT talking about console wars. I don't engage in that petty crap, my life already has enough problems. What I'm talking about is right wing grifters using this game to spread their bigotry and hate. Those "Capital G GAaaMErs" have said so many nasty things about the LGBT community, not to mention POC and Asian people. Anything that isn't a straight white man is political and "forcefully" injected. I will not give my money to a studio that had allegations of sexism. Hope this clears it up.

@darkswabber Oh they're trying to take away gaming from everyone, but they won't succeed my friend. As for the game itself, it looks extremely bland. It's one of those "souls-like" games that grifters latched on to, despite over 80% of sales coming from China lol. It's not bad but it's not that good.

I'm feeling super nostalgic so I decided to grab Asterix and Obelix Romastered for a dirt cheap price. It's just as I remember, funny and chaotic lol.

Pre-ordered and I'm so f**king ready! This will be the game that will put Bioware again on everyone's radar, mark my words. I've given up on seeing proper AAA RPGs reaching 60 fps on the S, but here's proof that it's possible with a bit of optimization.

I'm really excited to jump back in. Hope they add some new spells too.

I'm broke atm from getting new stuff for my apartment, so I'm saving up for Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

I finished my The Surge 2 NG+ run, so I'm currently out of games to play lol. I might try some Palworld, I forgot that I bought the crazy thing like months ago.

@brettvsgodzilla Completely worth it, especially the Premium Edition. As for the longevity, I get around 25 hours on one playthrough.

I'm doing a chaotic replay of The Surge 2. I'm moving to a new apartment so my budget for games is not available at the moment lol.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. It's absolutely criminal how nobody is talking about this game. It had an incredible and emotional story coupled with fun gameplay and interesting lore. I'm tired of seeing AAA and basic indie games get nominated while high quality AA projects are ignored. Anyway, it's on sale right now and I couldn't recommend it more.

After the masterpiece of Alien Romulus, I've decided to replay my favorite horror game Alien: Isolation. The AI still hasn't been surpassed, even to this day.

I'll never understand the level of corporate greed that you'll sack an entire group of hard-working and talented people, just because their game didn't ship 50 million copies. This whole "We NEeD GrOwtH durrr!kmnfk!" is killing the gaming industry. What happened to just stable and reliable income?

I'm halfway through the main story, now I'm chipping away at side quests. It was always fun and the latest rework made it even more enjoyable. I can't recommend it enough!

I can't f**king wait! I'm trying to avoid as many spoilers as I can but the combat looks absolutely chaotic and brutal. So glad they changed things, Inquisition had terrible combat. Anyway, pre-ordered and now it's all about counting the days before release.

From what I've seen and heard, the PS5 port is poorly optimized and no one knows if they'll fix the horrible input delay. A certain group of ... people have used this game to spread their bigoted views so I won't be touching it with a ten foot pole. Hope others have fun though.

Glad it turned out well. I'm one of those SW fans that prefers games with Jedi/Sith struggles but I might get this day one.

I wish all the best to the team and I hope the game sells well but this isn't doing it for me. Normally I love fantasy-style games but the lack of romance, poor number of companions, and overall tone are simply dealbreakers for me. I was hoping for a Dragon Age style fix before Veilguard but alas...

Just make the rebrand official for effin sake 🙄 I'm sick and tired of Phil tip-toeing around so many issues around Xbox. I never dreamed that we would reach this state over such horrible business decisions. This company is spitting in its consumer's faces and laughing about it too...

As many others said, this is Microsoft Gaming and NOT Xbox. I don't understand how on Earth you manage to mess up things this bad... Xbox had a far superior start this gen with a better console plus a cheaper option. Not to mention the Bethesda acquisition etc etc. This will be my first and final Xbox console. What a joke this company has turned into!

The show was quite decent, maybe not chuck full of new announcements but still I enjoyed it. Personally, I'm extremely excited for Directive 8020, Lost Records and of course Dragon Age The Veilguard.

It's a good game but it's community harbors some of the nastiest d*g*nerates out there. I might check it out though.

Replaying Atlas Fallen right now. I already completed my first run long before the overhaul and I can positively confirm that it's better in every way possible. The story has been improved, voice acting has significantly improved and they have added new content which I will not spoil.

I'm replaying Mass Effect Andromeda. I'm in a bit of a gaming slump atm (Baldur's Gate 3 is too expensive and DA The Veilguard is too far off). Hope everyone has a nice weekend!

I've never seen an ad on my dashboard (other than gaming which is expected) so it must be a regional thing. I guess one benefit of living in a s**th*le country like mine lol.

I smell a lawsuit from EA. No way GameStop gets away with this.

@themightyant This was developed by an indie studio with a modest budget. Deck13 has more developers and a big AA publisher backing them up, so it doesn't make sense for them to put an upper-tier AA game on GamePass, not on day one anyway. August buried so many games back then, it's no wonder the sales tanked...

@Cherip-the-Ripper I haven't played any co-op personally but I do know that you share loot, progress through the story at the same time and is super seamless and smooth. Hope you end up liking it 👍

A free update that will add new content is coming in August so this leaker might be right. It's a great game that was unfortunately buried by other bigger releases.

My game of the year so far is Banishers Ghosts of New Eden. That might change with The Veilguard but overall it's been a great year so far when it comes to gaming.

@FraserG I get it but it's always like Russian roulette with Aspyr. Sometimes you end up with a decent port and sometimes you end up with Battlefront and KOTOR.

I was actually excited until I saw Aspyr behind the port. After the colossal failure of the BF ports, I'm not touching a single game from that garbage studio.

I bought the game a couple of months ago and I must say it's a ton of fun! However, there is a lot of grind and it can be a bit offputting.

@Aniscape Exactly! Oh and they confirmed that the game has gore and blood (they toned it down because of YouTube of course).

@Aniscape We won't be able to control companions this time but we can use the ability wheel to order them around.
