Re: Rumour: Lords Of The Fallen Sets October Release Date For Xbox Series X|S

UndyingInsurgent95

@Kaloudz The Surge 2 is basically what Jedi Survivor is to Fallen Order. They took all the feedback and made a far superior game. If you like an ACTUAL story with some emotional elements, then I think you're going to love it. Might I suggest getting the Premium Edition? It's not on sale atm, but it does go for 12 USD. Basically, this is what you'll get:

*The Kraken
Discover the truth behind the VBS Krakow, mysteriously beached on the shores of Jericho City!

The BORAX-I Quantum Mace
Smash your enemies into the fifth dimension with this powerful mace!

The Public Enemy Weapon Pack
Hunt for 13 brand new weapons, from pillaged CREO equipment to nanite-infected staves!

Jericho’s Legacy Gear Pack
Fight your way out of the city with the savage BEAST Tank Buster, the sleek Kyoko Hacker Suit, and Jericho’s official Firetails Mascot!*

Hope you enjoy it, friend!

@Cherip-the-Ripper Thanks lol! I'm surprised you even recognized the game. I always thought I was the only one on PX who is hyped for the game.

@ironcrow86 Definitely noticeable but sometimes it's worth playing through a great game, even if the framerate isn't up to standards. I hope you have fun and don't forget to play with every character. Some of them have really cool abilities!

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Think Of Redfall So Far?

UndyingInsurgent95

It's bad, like REALLY bad. Reminds me of those cheap knockoff/movie license games that have two lines of code and are sold as "amazing" experiences lol. Terrible AI, it feels super stiff to just run around, it's buggy and simply doesn't feel fun after about an hour or two.
If I remember correctly, this was in development BEFORE Microsoft bought Zenimax, and if rumors are to be believed, this was supposed to be canceled. Alas, we ended up with this t*rd..

Re: Review: Redfall - Arkane's Undead Experiment Brings Mixed Results To Xbox Game Pass

UndyingInsurgent95

@Markatron84 I totally agree. I just want to know, what happened?! This game WAS supposed to launch last year, and I can't help but imagine the state of it back then, and even now, after a delay, it's still unfinished and buggy. Starfield better get critical acclaim, otherwise, I might reconsider switching back to PlayStation. I know I sound overdramatic, but I don't want to be constantly disrespected. Say what you will about Sony and their anti-consumer practices, but when it comes to exclusives, they always knock it out of the park.

I bought Far Cry 6 last weekend, and so far it's been decent. It still suffers from that classic Ubisoft syndrome of having a bloated open world, one-dimensional characters, and a generic story. Hope I get my money's worth haha!
Might even play a bit of Hogwarts Legacy to hunt more achievements. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend! 😊

Re: Rumour: Xbox Exclusive Hi-Fi RUSH 'Didn't Make The Money It Needed To Make'

UndyingInsurgent95

@Bleachedsmiles I wouldn't say it's selling "poorly". So far, they've sold more Series S consoles than a lifetime of XONE, and that's a fact. They're behind PlayStation unfortunately, but still, they're overtaking Nintendo in some markets so I think that's a good sign.
As for GamePass, I don't think it's affecting sales THAT much. Personally, I buy a lot of games I try on GamePass and I'm definitely not the only one.

Re: Xbox Fans Call On Bethesda To Delay Redfall Until 60FPS Is Ready

UndyingInsurgent95

@Kaloudz You're completely right, but let's look at it from a business/consumer perspective. It was supposed to launch way back in 2022, and it got a hefty delay along with Starfield (don't get me wrong, I'm all for additional polish lol). Also, it's a fast-paced shooter game and we all know how "bad" they feel at 30fps.
If they don't delay it, then I hope it's the highest priority for Arkane to patch in the performance mode.

Re: Xbox Fans Call On Bethesda To Delay Redfall Until 60FPS Is Ready

UndyingInsurgent95

I'm probably going to sound like one of those toxic gamers, but I think they should delay the game. Don't get me wrong, I've played 30fps games all my life lol, but this simply isn't a good look for a product that was delayed for six months. And we're talking about a first-party game that literally had me switch from Playstation to Xbox!
Phil needs to sort studio management ASAP.

Re: 'Atlas Fallen' Gameplay Reveal Showcases High-Octane RPG Combat

UndyingInsurgent95

@Kaloudz I am actually lol! My first Focus-published game was also from Spiders. Maybe you've heard of Bound By Flame? Since then, I've played most of their games and I've never regretted any purchase from them. As for my fave, I would definitely go with Greedfall (RPG category). The runner-up is definitely The Surge 2 (the same developer that is working on Atlas Fallen). Story-adventure? A Plague Tale franchise.

Re: 'Atlas Fallen' Gameplay Reveal Showcases High-Octane RPG Combat

UndyingInsurgent95

@Kaloudz Let's just say I finished the game three times haha. It's janky without a doubt and the combat is stiff TO SAY THE LEAST, but if you like a dark, dystopian sci-fi story with great characters and choices, I think you should definitely give it a try. Imagine a Bioware style RPG but with half the budget. If you're a fan of romancing companions, you can do that too.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 11-12)

UndyingInsurgent95

Control: Ultimate Edition. The PS4 version had a such abysmal performance that I literally couldn't finish the game. On the Series S however, it's shocking how 60fps can transform a game. It's so fun to throw objects at the crazy Hiss lol!

@Bmartin001 Nobody gets left behind... not even Jacob, unless you're like me and you ignored him the entire game lmao!

Re: Baldur's Gate 3 For Xbox Has 'Run Into Some Technical Issues'

UndyingInsurgent95

I'm really puzzled by this game's development history. It took three years for it to leave early access, and in all that time, they still haven't developed a working Xbox port?! I would understand if this was an indie studio, but Larian isn't one. Personally, I couldn't care less about the game, however, I find this situation to be rather suspicious.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 11-12)

Hogwarts Legacy. I'm simply stunned by the number of details in the game. It's so fun, yet it feels so modern. I've been super busy these days so I didn't play much, despite pre-ordering the Deluxe edition lolz. My only criticism is that they could've given us companions akin to Mass Effect, but they could always expand the RPG elements in the sequel. Guys, if you're fans of the universe, go buy the game now!
