Talking Point: What Have You Bought In The Xbox Spring Sale 2024?

So far:
P5R, Steel Rising, The Ascent Cyber Edition, Saints Row(😁) and Chants of Sennaar. I'll do another browse tonight if I have the time.

Unusually for me, I have bought absolutely nothing. I would normally pick something to add to my backlog, but there was nothing that interested me, that I didn't already have, this time round...

I've gone back and forth on buying Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons but I have so many other games to play currently

Nothing for me. I really don’t need any more games right now. If I do in the future I’m sure the summer sale will offer the same deals if not better.

Picked up person 5 royal as I'm really enjoying Persona 3 Reload. Also picked up the shadow of mordor/war bundle. That was all and haven't plenty of games to keep me busy for years

So far, nothing. Been years since X360 games like Deus Ex HR or Catherine or Plants vs Zombies or Dragon Age Awakening went on sale... shame, would have thrown money at Microsoft otherwise.

Nada. Game Pass has been good to me lately.

I had plenty on the wish list that was on sale, but nothing that wasn't regularly on sale at other times, so I will just wait for the next sale (or the one after that). I did receive A Plague Tale: Requiem as a gift which was in the Amazon Easter Sale though, thanks to my daughter.

Just purchased DLC on sale.

2 of the Fallout 4 expansions and the Game of The Year Upgrade for Fallout 4.

I’m thinking of getting the GOTY edition of Fallout 4, but the base game is on GP so don’t know if I’ll bother. Does anyone know if next weeks next-gen upgrade will also apply to the GP version?

I haven’t gone crazy this sale. So far I’ve purchased Steelrising: Bastille Edition and The Dark Pictures Anthology: Season One which contains all of the Dark Pictures titles released so far; Man of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes and The Devil in Me.

I’m going to take one last look through the sale tonight so I don’t miss anything.

I Bought Cyberpunk, the GTA trilogy, lawnmower simulator, AC Odyssey, Penny's big breakaway and more I'm forgetting about >.<

Nothing yet. My digital library has been shifting to pc for years now so I can play them on pc,tv or handheld. Xbox needs to get our digital libraries playable on the Xbox pc app.

Tunic, since I Downgraded from Game pass ultimate to core (because there was a 500% raise in the price in my region) and that was the game im halfway through

Game Pass. I did buy DD2 but other than that I haven’t bought a new xbox game in a while.

Picked up Middle-Earth Bundle (Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War + DLC for both), Kingdom Come Deliverance and Fallout 76 free through Amazon Prime for Xbox.

Assassins Creed Mirage, and then got the Metro Exodus Gold edition, so that I can play the DLC.

I had a bunch of gift cards that I haven’t used so I went a bit overboard this year. I got Outer Worlds Spacer Edition, Journey to the Savage Planet, Wolfenstein Alt History Collection, The Devil in Me, Onechanbara, Trepeng2, Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom, Star Wars: Squadrons, Cloudpunk, Ghostrunner 2, and Immortals of Avernum.

I picked up Cult of the Lamb, and played through the main story mode (decided not to buy it just to backlog it). Great game, happy with the purchase!

It’s not a great sale. They could at least have matched previous discounts on some of the 360 games that are about to be delisted…

Picked up AC Valhalla physical for a fiver this week. Only played an hour or so but debating whether to get the Complete Ed (with the main DLCs etc) for £30.
