I played the Lawn Mowing Simulator a little bit to get some easy achievements. Then I went out and mowed my lawn. Much more rewarding and I got to listen to a podcast.

So this perk was up today but not working and now it seems to have disappeared.

'Outstanding Single Camera Editing' is not something that massively attracts me to view. I do want to watch, but got to find a good chunk of time when no one else wants to watch tv, because let's face it, this is pretty niche...

@masofdas I've had pro a few times, but the games I have access to barely compete with Xbox Live Gold, let alone gamepass. Maybe If I didn't have an xbox or a switch it would be more useful, but I've really had very little call to use it (I've got the kit with the chromecast and the white controller).

@masofdas It's their own fault for not launching a gamepass style service. The tech does work, in my experience better than xCloud (which is fine), but it's not really worth paying for.

Does 3rd party mean no HD rumble?

@Master_Cthulhu70 You can just test this yourself by turning off your wifi. If your xbox is set as your home console, you shouldn't have experienced this issue. That's not to say that something doesn't need to be fixed somewhere.

If it was Vice City, I might be bothered.

Would be good if they could allow multiple home consoles.

But I guess it should be weighed against the alternative, which is lugging all your games around on disc.

I had an issue with Forza 5's online, and my iphone xbox app thinking I didn't have gamepass, but other than that no issues.

@PhileasFragg I mean it's been out for just less than a month. Well worth it though, it's basically an encyclopedia.

When it was first announced I though we were losing out that it would be completely different from the original games, but a) I was wrong, and b) they're still available!

Aside from the occasional glitch I'm very happy with it.

I just got Lego Star Wars TCS, which I think complete the xbox 360 collection. I had lego star wars 2 and 3 already from games with gold, I think.

Am I right in thinking TCS is Lego Star Wars 2, plus lego star wars 1 (prequels) which I gather is not separately available?)

The pun is nice, but it’s 4th May in the UK and le quatre Mai in France. Surely we should be celebrating Boonta Eve or Life Day.

@BBB You're quite right. All though in this case, it would be a law about copyright infringement which I suppose it could be argued was being misused by private companies to stop 'free speech' (as opposed to private organisations right to prevent content being shared on their platforms). It's not an argument I would support.

@Xiovanni Just finished Episode IV (the first one I played). Really enjoyed it, the Kirby demo was fine for me, but I'm not that fussed by it.

I'm sure my nostalgia for Star Wars has a lot to do with it anyway.

@Stocksy It seems like Xbox fans like the Microsoft Public Relations and service offering in spite of the hardware (which is now basically identical), and PlayStation fans like the hardware in spite of the Sony Public Relations and service offering (I'm sure the services will get very similar).

Switch fans are just generally cheerier. Unless they're Pokemon fans.

Sony lost cred with me after all the cross-play drama when Microsoft and Nintendo were basically a big love-in.

Also their Discmans were always pretty cheap quality for the price...

@k3lt0n I agree totally. It's not the same as the two PlayStation 5s. It's so cheap, lots of people are just using it as a gamepass machine. It does feel like the XBox One S was more of an intermediate machine, whereas now we have a pro machine and a 'baby' machine, but with so many monthly payment plans available (mine's with my mobile provider and includes gamepass), it's much easier to get that pro device if you want it.

I think the main issue is people who got the Series S, because they just couldn't find a Series X.
