It's not uncommon for Xbox games to be reduced by 90% or even 95% on Xbox during the weekly sales (there are plenty of them in the Xbox Spring Sale 2022), but a random discount of 97% for a relatively new sports game? That's crazy.
The game in question is Axis Football 2021, which has temporarily been reduced from £24.99 / $29.99 to just £0.79 / $0.99. It's the latest version of the indie series from Axis Games, with the 2021 version arriving last August, and it'll be followed up later this year with the release of Axis Football 2023 (probably the reason for the discount).
So, is it any good? Well, don't expect AAA production like you'd see in EA's Madden series here, but it seems like it's worth a punt at least. The reviews are "Mixed" on the Steam platform, based on just over 100 user ratings.

Older Madden games can be picked up for hardly anything and look so much better than this..
Wth is Axis Football?
It looks like 2008 era Madden and that is when those games were fun. I picked this up, I'm confident it will be worth a dollar.
