In a bit of a surprise move, Sega has brought three Yakuza titles back to Xbox Game Pass following their departures late last year. Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 have all re-entered the library today, July 5th.
As far as we're aware, there's been no formal announcement from Microsoft regarding this move, but it's a welcome one nonetheless. We're expecting an official Game Pass roundup from Microsoft shortly, so these three titles could be formally announced there.
The rest of July is looking pretty bare for the service too, so that impending announcement should bulk out the library. There are only a handful of titles confirmed for the rest of the month, with As Dusk Falls being the highlight at present.

I bought them already, but it's good to see these games back on GP.
they should have put fist of the north star: lost paradise and yakuza ishin instead or maybe sakura wars

Cool that they're back! It was awkward with part of the series around, and it's a huge series to work through. My backlog is insurmountable....
Managed to go through all 8 games plus Judgment in 2020 and 2021. Incredible series. 0 and LAD are my favourites.

Haven't played judgement 1+2, Dead Souls or Fist of the North Star yet but I have them lined up. Just having a bit of a break from the series!
@Ryu_Niiyama IKR. The game says I'm 120 hours into zero, and I'm till on Majimas main chapter..... Double digit hours to go! Though half that was the cabaret club mini game which goes on too long but it's necessary for money and unlocking the brawler style moves...
@ralphdibny Yea I got burnt out when I started 3 and again when I started Judgment. Good to take breaks for sure. Interesting you had 4 so high I just couldn’t enjoy that one as much as the rest. Still a good game for anyone coming to it but not off the back of playing 5 games beforehand.
@K1LLEGAL I think it's mainly because it ties so closely into 5 but also because I really liked the Tanemura character they ditched for 5.
5s my favourite because I loved playing as Haruka 😅, the rhythm games were really fun and I couldn't stop singing So Much More for weeks after I finished it!
Such an incredible series that I made sure to buy all the entries of in deep sales while it was all on Gamepass. Worth owning this series.
Like A Dragon is unironically one of my favorite JRPGs and Ichiban reminds me of Sora from Kingdom Hearts but, y’know, written with depth and nuance.
