I don't disagree with that personally. I will never play 80% of what's on gamepass, and will just try 15%, and maybe get into that last 5% for more than a couple of hours

Microsoft's 1st party stuff has mostly sucked imo this generation. Starfield, Doom the Dark Ages, Halo Infinite, Avowed, and The Outer Worlds 2 were all games I was very interested in but just turned out to be middling and didn't keep my interest for very long. Idk what's been going on with their 1st party studios but something just hasn't gone well this generation. I really WANT Fable and Gears E Day to be great but I feel like they'll be like the rest have been

It was good, not great. The extra focus on serious story was a big detriment for me. It got in the way and the earlier games' goofy stories (in the background) were way more fun. The gameplay was kinda just more of the same with a few tweaks, and it was fun. The dragon and mech stuff was very meh

I don't believe her, or any of them. I think they're trying to quietly sunset hardware and maybe do niche hardware in the future that would be too expensive for the current customer base, and that they will focus on publishing, gamepass, and streaming

Of course they're gonna throw most of their resources at AI like everyone else

I thought avowed was pretty mediocre. Very bland. Didn't play much OW2 but what I did play gave me the same feeling

It was fun for a little while but there wasn't enough meat on the bone gameplay wise to keep me interested. The treasure sucked. The story and characters felt like they went through some sort of sterilizing machine and came out very bland

It was overall just very ok
