@ZuneTattooGuy Additional content won't take away the plat but yeah the update is coming to PS5 too, I deleted it for now but I'll go back if the new stuff adds anything worthwhile.
@Spider-Kev It's basically a walking sim with some simple FPS type combat and an overwhelming amount of collectibles. Not a very flattering description but it's a decent enough game.
@Tharsman If you love busywork then you'll love Ghostwire. I just got the PS5 platinum today. My 100% savefile clocked in at 52 hours, the main campaign took around 7 hours and all side missions around 4 hours. The other 41 hours were spent picking stuff up!
I absolutely love walking sims (which Ghostwire mainly is), and I really enjoyed the core of the game but the artificial padding is just ridiculous. Still, if that's your thing then you're in for a treat.
@Stnkygrngo They did buy Bizarre Creations but the PGR rights never left MS. The studio no longer exists so the ball is fully in MS's court. Phil Spencer has said he'd like to do something with the IP but that was years ago. Unfortunately I doubt they will ever bring it back.
@Stnkygrngo MS already own the IP rights for PGR, ActiBlizz never had them so this deal going through won't resurrect PGR. Sadly it ain't coming back mate.
Just finished Ghostwire today, great walking sim with a bit of fun combat to flesh it out but good grief, it goes beyond the pale with the sheer amount of collecting spirits. A six hour game padded out with 30+ hours of just picking stuff up.
No mention of fixing the horrific screen tearing caused by the previous update? As someone who's highly sensitive to it the game is borderline unplayable in its current state.
@Rob3008 I played the first 4 chapters on XSX in performance mode earlier and it definitely dropped frames at times, nothing too bad and not often but very noticeable when it did happen.
@scarecrowknife Not really, Forza and PGR are poles apart in what they offer. Race track sim vs city street arcade racer. Not even the Forza Horizon games come close to replicating PGR.
Quite surprised the One X is only 30fps, Team Ninja managed to get Nioh hitting 60fps on base PS4 and 60fps in Ninja Gaiden back in the OG Xbox days. Still, looking solid for X|S owners.
Got a 'just for you' on AC Valhalla Complete Edition for £22. That's a discount of £98! Already own the base game but I'll definitely be grabbing that for all the DLC. Happy days
Hi-fi Rush and I was going to play something from my backlog but I just discovered that Mommy's Best (my favourite dev from the XBL Indie Games program on 360) has re-released his stuff on the marketplace so I'll be playing Weapon of Choice until my fingers bleed. Have a good weekend all!
@Would_you_kindly "I love Crash and Spyro, I don't want to buy a Series console to play them"
You wouldn't have to if Sony hadn't sold them to Acti, either way you seemingly had no issues buying a PlayStation to play them back in the day. What's the problem now?
This is a real breath of fresh air, I love games that are just dumb fun. Stuff like Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer is Dead and Shadows of the Damned are some of my all time favourites and this is right up there with all of them. More like this please Microsoft!
This looks amazing, definitely the star of the show for me. Looking forward to diving into it tomorrow. Now bring back the BC program so I can play Rock Band Blitz on my XSX!
@PhileasFragg The game is complete without the season pass. Definitely not half a game without it. Just thought I'd mention it as I really enjoyed the extra content.
@Lup Yes mate, RE Rev2 servers are still up and running.
@PhileasFragg WD Legion is really good fun. I highly recommend getting the season pass for the extra playable characters, especially Darcy who's an AC Assassin and Wrench from WD2. The DLC campaign is definitely worth playing too.
Cashed in £25 of rewards points and grabbed Lost Judgment Ultimate Edition for a whopping £4.99 of real money. Happy days
@ironcrow86 WD Legion is really good fun. I loved my time with it, season pass is worth a buy too. The dlc campaign is great but the extra characters you get for the main game are brilliant, especially Wrench from WD2.
@stvevan Yeah people seem to forget that King is the big earner here and the EU/UK have real concerns with the duopoly of Apple and Google in the mobile space. MS getting a market foothold there will help to ease this deal through.
Only played Plague Tale and Signalis from the list and Signalis is ahead by a large margin. Best game I've played in a long time. Absolutely brilliant!
Safe to say Sony have netted some serious money from Genshin so it's understandable Xbox regret not getting it. On a selfish note I'm glad it isn't on Xbox. I already have 2 active Genshin accounts on PS and I really don't need a 3rd!
Really wanted to enjoy this but gave up after about 30 hours (original game). Found it to be way too slow paced and restrictive. Hopefully it gains enough traction on Xbox to see games like Ys, Akiba's Trip and Tokyo Xanadu get released on XB.
@mousieone It's a very different game altogether really. It still has the Ghibli art style and Chibi style overworld but they added a bunch of new things like tower attack/defence battles and you actually build and raise your Kingdom and do research. It doesn't match the original story wise and there's barely any spoken dialogue, opting for text instead but I enjoyed it much more than NNK.
Superb game if you just play it, enjoy it for the story and move on. For completionists the game is an awful grind that has horrific RNG and zero respect for your time.
@Hutchieace They also added 3 new gigs, 11 weapons, an arcade minigame, new vehicle variant, poison perks, new hairstyles, photo mode changes. Also there's a bunch of UI and QoL changes as well as a load of bug fixes and general tweaks.
Has anyone else been unable to play this? Game just says loading save data and hangs there for me on XSX. Tried deleting the save, console reboot, reinstalling etc but it won't get past the loading screen.
Edit: Dev is aware of this and working on a patch. Temporary workaround is to change your gamerpic. What a weird bug!
@Lup It was a zero effort remaster, the only major difference is the amount of GS. Original has 400GS and the new has 1000GS. There is a resolution bump too but both versions run at 30fps.
@Kezelpaso If you're serious about playing some PGR4 I'm up for it. However I need to buy a new powerpack for my 360. Maybe make a post in the forum, if we can drum up a few people I'll definitely play. Once I can actually boot up my 360!
@themightyant Pretty sure it's around a month. I check leaving soon quite often myself and it always pops up in that random notification box for me, the one that shows your next achievement or This week on Xbox etc. Also you do use sites like this that have reminders so none of it should surprise you. It's not perfect, granted but it's something. Could be better though I agree.
@HarmanSmith Yeah I liked Raji a lot, combat was a bit janky and it was a bit rough around the edges in general but it was fun enough and I really enjoyed the cultural aspect of it. Cool little game.
@themightyant To be fair GP itself does give about one month of notice in the leaving soon section and PX isn't shy about reminding us. That said I dropped the ball completely on Raji even with reminders, was at the final boss and forgot all about it leaving. 950/1000 lol.
BioShock Infinite is not even close to being a notable deal. The entire trilogy and all DLC is on sale every few weeks for just £1 more than the price of that single game. The trilogy was on sale last week and will be again soon.
@FreqMode Does anyone even care about GS enough to warrant any type of overhaul? I mean MS muddied the pool by giving 50 daily reward points for any achievement. I have 1000GS on Paw Patrol for getting the daily achievement reward points and 1000GS on Spec Ops: The Line because I wanted to.
I understand why you would want to see change based on difficulty etc but the whole system is polluted now.
@themcnoisy It's been years since I played NG Black but I remember that area. The thing with that game is each enemy type is vulnerable to certain weapons, in that place they're weak to the flails but I don't think you get them until you complete the plane level.
Best approach for those mobs is to spam the sword Izuna Drop move (it's XYXXXY in NG2 so it'll be the same or very similar in NGB, check the move list), it will give you plenty of i-frames and enemies will drop health pick ups. Good luck man!
I'll take it for the daily points just like I did with Paw Patrol, I'll rinse that new Paw Patrol game too. Zero shame here. My 1250/1250GS on Ninja Gaiden 2 absolves me of any easy takes

Re: Deals: 150+ Games Included In This Week's Xbox Sales (April 4-11)
@FraserG Thanks for the heads up on Quantum Break. It's only on sale for one more day so if anyone else wants it don't hang about!
Re: Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom 'The Prince's Edition' Is Available Today On Xbox Game Pass
@Bleachedsmiles Its fully standalone. Oliver from NNK gets a passing mention in the DLC but that's about it. No need to have played NNK at all.
Re: Don't Forget, It's Almost Time For Ghostwire: Tokyo On Xbox Game Pass
@Bricktop33 They also added Deathloop to plus extra when the exclusive period was over and it released on GP.
Re: Xbox Game Pass Version Of 'Atomic Heart' Gets Huge Day One Update
Anyone know what todays patch is for? I got the 67gb update yesterday, just went to start the game and it triggered a 16gb update. Playing on XSX.

Re: Talking Point: Are You Ready For Crytek's Famous FPS To Return To Xbox?
I'd like a Crysis game that had actual enemy AI instead of dumb as a box of rocks with the occasional aimbot.
Re: Shadow Warrior 3: Definitive Edition Doesn't Seem Very 'Definitive' On Xbox Series S

Re: Pick One: Which Of These Xbox Classics Would You Remaster?
Easy pick, PGR by a country mile. Preferably PGR2.

Re: These Six Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (February 9-21)
Nice, Shadow Warrior 3 will bridge the gap until Atomic Heart. Played it when it was on PS Plus, fun little game and an easy completion.

Re: Hi-Fi RUSH Has Xbox Boss Thinking About Jet Set Radio Future (Again)
Weird it wasn't added because it's in the BC library on the 360. I still play it on occasion.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 28-29)

Re: Talking Point: What Are Your Favourite JRPGs On Xbox?
Eternal Sonata and Resonance of Fate.

@Ralizah @mousieone NNK2 has real time hack/slash combat instead of turn based.
