It's time for another round of Pick One! With October now almost behind us, it's time to go back and look at the complete batch of Xbox Game Pass games from this month and pick a favourite!
There were some definite highlights in October 2022's Xbox Game Pass lineup, including the likes of A Plague Tale: Requiem and Persona 5 Royal, while other notable releases throughout the month included the horror adventure Scorn, the console arrival of Medieval Dynasty, a whole bunch of great horror games such as Amnesia: Rebirth and Soma, and the surprise addition of Chivalry 2 back at the very beginning of October!
So, what was the best Game Pass addition in October? Remember you can only pick one!

Persona 5, it's not even close
The answers and comments are exactly what I expected haha.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is currently my GOTY so I chose that
Plague Tale was fantastic, easily my favourite GP game this month but I certainly spent more time playing Chivraly 2
A Plague tale Requiem for me. I just started P5r for the first time so it's way to soon to name that one. Requiem I finished and is currently my game of the year, what a game.
Right now it's Chivalry 2. I still have to play Gunfire Reborn.
I haven't played them on gamepass but it's down to persona 5 Royal and plague tale requiem. But being the otaku I am I have to go with persona 5 😜
Persona 5 Royal is the only one I know I will play to completion (over a few months if past experience is anything to go by )
Gunfire Reborn is a possibility but need more time with it. Certainly seems to have flown under the radar but my first impression is its fun and I want to see more. (it will be a blast with friends I expect.)
I wanna play Requiem but i wanna play the first game first..
I liked( and was disgusted by) scorn had mindless fun with chivalry 2 and I am currently in love with a plague tale requiem heart breaking story and beautiful graphics personally my goty on Xbox this October was a blast to play, and I know will like persona 5 but I won’t play it until I finish a plague tale.
Persona 5. It definitely was NOT Scorn.
I voted Plague Tale, but honestly need to try Signalis to know for sure
Chivalry 2 for me.
Phantom Abyss. I like watching the other phantoms and wondering how tf they died in some places.

Easily A Plague Tale Requiem, game is a masterpiece and other than that, all the other games in the month were trash
If I had never played Persona 5 obviously that would be the pick but I've already played it so Plague Tale it is. Both are awesome games though. You really can't go wrong with either of them.
Persona 5 is pure JRPG bliss. Always has been, and Royal Edition is really sexy on my XSS.

Can someone answer, when do I get to control my character and explore a bit in persona 5? I've been playing for a few hours it feels like, and it's just almost all cut scene. Like a VN really, does it open up to more gameplay later?
Phantom Abyss for me although almost all my game time this month has been playing Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous
I haven't played Plauge because it's 30fps… But medieval dynasty I recently started because they came a 60fps patch. It's fun so I choose it.
Persona 5 is the best game on that list but given I've already played it on Playstation I'll go for Plauge Tale, it's actually the first game I've played on the service for some time (I have it mainly for my son) and playing on PC without the need for 30fps I've been pleasantly surprised so far
Only played Plague Tale and Signalis from the list and Signalis is ahead by a large margin. Best game I've played in a long time. Absolutely brilliant!
How about none of them🤣
@CunningPig yeah, especially once you start doing the palaces, and juggling time during semesters. It's well over 100 hours long, so there's plenty of gameplay in there.
