I literally just replayed GoW1,2&3 this past month. IDK why I just started playing and decided to keep going bc I had forgotten most of it. I could explain the differences it's so fresh on my mind but will say the first ⅔ of GoW2 hits better than most games do today. My thought throughout the entire first three games was I miss these big-budget action games. And I just started Judgment and so far I like what I'm playing.

@shoeses MK is way overrated. Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed and Crash to name a couple.

Halo will remain irrelavant until they add a BattleRoyal mode. Team Death Match and other modes are worn out and tired.

Of coarse this would be teased, I just replayed the newer version of GoW1 and it's ok. GoW2 starts out really great but plays out average to above average the remaining ⅔. Playing GoW3 now and I wish the mechanics were in the previous two.This series is still better than most action games being released today.
FTR, I finished and enjoyed Gears5, 4 and judgment at the time when they released too

@NotoriousWhiz CastleCrashers is still one of the most popular side-scrolling and best selling beat'em ups since it's release in 2008. Thanks to its art design, great music, simple roguelite gameplay mechanics, unique bosses, enemy design and variety and level design and variety.
FnR does not feel like a fighting game turned beat'em up. It definitely has some move variety but nothing we have not seen before. All I remember is same looking enemies stage after same looking stage. No one is asking for a sequel, I'm not saying its a bad game but it's not a "must own" like the 3 crowns I mentioned. Id give it a "wait and play on gamepass" though.

Must own? Im sorry. Own it, played it's and have not touched it since. It's okay but repetitive enemy types and levels lack creativity. CastleCrashers, TMNT-SR and SoR4 is all you'll ever need.

Left4Dead1&2 was updated for XboxOne and PS4. But was delisted on current gen consoles bc of Back4Blahd. The dev team recently announced they were done with Back4Blah and is moving to a new project. It makes no sense at this point not to update and re-release L4D1&2.

Good! Now return Left4Dead1&2 to consoles and turn servers back on. They updated them last gen and they should do it again for current gen.

@SplooshDmg When the next team delivers a proper Halo BR it’ll be revived. 343 stubbornly and or arrogantly thought TDM was all players wanted.

@FraserG I stand corrected. It's now functioning on my account on series x. You're correct that you have to "go offline" to get past the title screen. This did not work for me previously I'm certain of that. However, once you get the game running you can switch back to "go online" and it will not boot you out of the game unless you try to change your profile.

@FraserG Agree. FTR, I only tried on Series X. It may still be functional on Series S, One, or 360. Idk. Let us know if you find out.

@Mrzoomer Wow. Interesting. Good thought and you're right it does have the potential for more BC games.

@FraserG I tried offline mode, disconnected, and other suggestions and it still did not work.

PSA: GHOST RECON FUTURE SOLDIER NO LONGER WORKS.
Unless they've changed it in the past month.

On the occasional game night, we run LAN completely offline/no internet connection on 3 screens w/ MCC and it runs 4plyr split for up 12plyrs and can do more. Infinite could sort of do LAN at launch but 343 has since disabled the feature for offline. Now you can't even play offline mp w/o being connected online. "Local" is literally defined as to be not online. 343 is just not a good caretaker of Halo.

No surprise. Its all about Gamepass now.

@OliverOwen This type is game is best playing, not watching [for most]. FightNight Rd3 on 360 was so much fun, online and local.

@AtlanteanMan To my knowledge starting with Halo4 on xbox360, local split-screen mp with or without LAN required individual accounts. Guest sign-ins did not work. I don't recall if this was the case with prior Halo's but MCC has always required accounts. It's easy to create dummy accounts but is annoying.

Step down or get fired. Saying she wanted to stay until the winter update is the hint that this was not voluntary. She could’ve taken a leave of absence, work from home full or part time.
Halo Infinite is becoming a dumpster fire and MS rightfully handed her options. Halo should’ve had a BR, split-screen co-op, and other features.

Im not for review bombing but good. 343 said split-screen will be part of Halo going forward after Halo5. Offline MP with no internet connection is not working now too.

SoD2 started off rough but after many updates, it's much improved. But the game feels more about building a community, doing chores, and running errands for members and neighboring allies than a zombie survival game. Play Days Gone and think SoD3.

At first you could play local offline splitcreen multiplayer with bots. Now you cant play offline mp w/o being connected online. All the modes and maps dont show unless you’re connected.

@Chaudy UK CMA has expressed their “concern” about the acquisition but is going into phase 2. The only reason they have an opinion is bc MS does business in the UK. What it could come down to is MS no longer sells Xbox in the UK.

MS is leading, Sony is bleeding and Nintendo is needing.

Halo Infinite is more like Halo Irrelevant until they make a BattleRoyale. BR is the new TDM and not having one is stubborn and or tone deaf.

They're trying so hard to get ppl excited about a feature no one is excited about or not enough to move the needle of interest to the masses. People are playing BR and why HALO doesn't have one yet is either out of touch or stubborn.

BLUR. Give us BLUR. Realistic cars, weapons and ...wait for it... 4-player split screen. This game was waaaay ahead of its time and is still great. Not good, great.

@GeekSleeves The fact that TMNT Turtles/Time from xbox 360 arcade was delisted and was not part of the soon to be released collection was a huge disappointment. I actually still have the demo on my 360 hdd. lol

@JetmanUK Idk if it's bc of 3rd-person MP or that they're more grounded but the other I really like is TheLastOfUs Factions mp. And NaughtyDog is working on some type of BR or open-world like MP that may be like PUBG but in the TLOU universe.

@JetmanUK I played from 2017-19 on PS4 and then XboxOneX. It had its issues but loved it enough to see past them. Then moved on to Apex and then Warzone. I would always check back every now and then but it didn't click as it used to. Now, something's different. I play on SeriesX which is great and looking forward to playing it now, especially the new map and QoL update coming this week!

@DoctorJohnDisco That's nonsensical logic. You can't say you have not played PUBG in 2 years and then compare it to other more recent BR's. Imagine comparing Fortnite, Warzone or Apex today to when they launched. They're not the same games thanks to continued dev support improving visuals, frame rates, gameplay and added maps too. Speaking of which, PUBG has more maps, and larger ones too, than all of the ones I mentioned combined. It's not for everyone bc it actually requires some skill bc jumping and sliding will not save you.

@EVIL-C What a way to gripe about something they maintained for a long time. They've gone the extra mile to give you ownership of those 360 games with no strings attached after membership expires. Of coarse, the focus is on GamePass. What did you expect?

@JetmanUK I did too as well. The only thing now is you don't get to own the games for XboxOne and newer. You have to maintain your membership to access.

@Spazmonic You can't say you have not played it forever and then claim others are doing it better. PUBG has improved a lot and is better than the copycats.

There's an issue on the Series X. FTR, my TV is compatible. But it seems like if I have the console display settings to 1440p&120hz and RE2 graphic settings to RT-OFF and 120fps-ON it causes the game to eventually freeze. And sometimes lose control over Leon. I had to hard reset to the console a few times. And the controller stops responding too unless I take out and reinsert the batteries. There's also some kind of weird screen darkening and video calibration issues during this ordeal. Sometimes I get the in-game checkered box calibration option and other times simple one block calibration.
