As a Battlefield fan I had a look at the Bad Company games when I first got my Xbox (Dec 21) and the multiplayer was completely empty for BC 1 and BC 2 wasn't much busier. It's a shame if single player games are going through.
@themightyant I have absolutely no rhythm at all and I don't feel that has hindered my enjoyment of this at all. Hitting things right does help when it happens but I've enjoyed my time, done the first boss, despite missing as much as I'm hitting.
For context I couldn't get into Metal Hellsinger because the rhythm action played such a key part.
As others have said above it's not a surprise. The first console I was actually spending my own money on games for was the N64 and the equivalent cost of those is over £100 now.
I don't have the update and to be honest I'm happy keeping it that way. After taking a little while to get used to it I know where everything is and it works how I want it to.
I do them on my phone and switch between mobile and desktop version to get them. I tend to do films and actors, you then get the option to click through cast, characters etc and do them all really quickly.
I'm happy enough with mine. I was struggling to justify the £450 on a series x. The biggest negative seems to be the storage but it's not an issue for me as I don't have loads of games on the go at once.
I've just started Escape Academy which I think I'll enjoy.
I bounced off Powerwash Simulator very quickly. Seeing a whole filthy garden for the first proper level after taking ages just to clean the van was a big nope.
It's really not much of an issue for me. I play a game and delete it and don't have too many on the go at once. I can see how others would have a problem if, as you say, they play Warzone (which should never be the size it is).
@Spaceman-Spiff the dead zones were ridiculous and made aiming almost impossible for me. I'm not sure how much this patch improved it though, I only played a short time with it and the difference didn't seem to be massive.
I don't get to 20k/month but I've been doing okay out of them, maybe averaging 15/month . My best tip, that I'm sure is well known, is the daily bing searches can all be done on mobile if you switch to desktop view (using Microsoft edge that is).
There had to be a chance he's right. I have gamepass and have bought games at about the rate of when I had my PS4 but you definitely give it a second thought if you think it will come to gamepass soon.
@Snake_V5 I'd say streaming has every chance of being part of the future. The main reason Stadia was doomed was the fact that it was a format in itself, with the development costs associated with that, not just a product to stream PC games. Microsoft, and Sony, won't be/aren't in that position. It won't be for everyone and some places just won't be able to do it but just like the TV and films streaming it's definitely happening.
@Kopite worked for me and a few others from the comments section of the original article. Maybe try another game? Streets of Rage and Human Fall Flat have quick achievements if you haven't already done them

Re: Microsoft Rewards: How To Claim 2000 Bonus Points On Xbox In April 2023
@PsBoxSwitchOwner it didn't seem to for me but I'm hoping it's like last time where it will be there when I turn my Xbox on the next day.

Re: Microsoft Rewards Users, Don't Forget To Download This Free Xbox Game While You Can
@Banjo- I've ignored much of that and just followed the main story missions.
Re: 'Not Playable On This Device' Message Causes Havoc On The Xbox Store
Could this be anyway related to the rewards app not recognising any achievements earned for either the daily or weekly?
Re: Microsoft Rewards Users, Don't Forget To Download This Free Xbox Game While You Can
@Banjo- Played Chorus for this, didn't take too long and is a good game so it wasn't a chore anyway.
Re: Microsoft Rewards: How To Complete March 2023's 'Powerful Women Of Game Pass' Punch Card
Been meaning to give Chorus a play so this was perfect timing.
Re: Xbox Game Pass: All Games Coming Soon In March 2023
Might give F1 a quick go. And obviously Valheim has had plenty written about it too.
Re: Microsoft Rewards: How To Complete February 2023's 'Xbox Game Pass Dynamic Duos' Punch Card
@Clankylad both the unravel games are worth a play.
I thought I was in for a bit of trouble with this having got a lot of the easy achievements from these games only to realise I played Unravel 2 on PS.

Re: Xbox Game Pass: Easy Achievements & Fastest Completions
Donut Country is a nice little game to play between Plague Tale sessions.
Re: Interview: 'High On Life' Dev Talks Xbox, Game Length And Living Up To The Hype
Was interested in this from the first trailer so this will be played day 1.
Re: Xbox Users Left Irritated By Excessive MW2 Ads On The Dashboard
Lively discussion.
I didn't have these adds at all. Not today or yesterday. Maybe they know their audience.
Re: Chivalry 2 Brings The Fight To Xbox Game Pass This Tuesday
Been tempted many times so this is great for me.
Re: FIFA 23's EA Play Trial Is Currently Having Some Serious Problems On Xbox
It worked for me okay last night but today nope. Using the guest account thing did just work though.
Re: Xbox Dev Comments On Feedback For The New Dashboard
I don't have the update and to be honest I'm happy keeping it that way. After taking a little while to get used to it I know where everything is and it works how I want it to.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (September 17-18)
Still playing FH5 but the servers seem to have gone to rubbish these last couple of days.
Given Metal:Hellsinger a go and I have no rhythm.
Re: How To Complete All Xbox Game Pass Quests In 2022
Always good to have a game pop up on these that you had just downloaded anyway (Turtles).
Re: 'Flintlock: The Siege Of Dawn' Extended Gameplay Shows Xbox Game Pass RPG In Action
Looks good. It looks like 2023 will be quite the opposite of 2022.
Re: Microsoft Rewards: How To Claim 2000 Bonus Points On Xbox In September

Re: Xbox Accidentally Tells Everyone 'High On Life' Is Out Now On Game Pass
I was slightly surprised being told I could pre-load it. I was wondering just what there was to pre-load.
Re: Xbox Wants To Know What Needs Improving About Microsoft Rewards
I've no problems with the rewards program (in fact it's great) but as stated above the app isn't great, it didn't work at all on Tuesday for me.
Re: Two More Games Added To September 2022's Xbox Game Pass Lineup
The High on Life news is good news for me because I was thinking it was a 2023 release anyway.
Re: Medieval Melee Slasher 'Mordhau' Is Coming To Xbox Series X And S
It's always looked interesting, does it play well with a controller?
Re: Talking Point: Xbox Series S Owners, Are You Happy You Skipped Series X?
I'm happy enough with mine. I was struggling to justify the £450 on a series x. The biggest negative seems to be the storage but it's not an issue for me as I don't have loads of games on the go at once.
Re: Great News! Microsoft Rewards Is Expanding To 38 More Countries
This is great news. I've enjoyed getting something for (nearly)nothing and now more people can too.
Re: Pick One: What Was Your Favourite Xbox Game Pass Game In July?
I've just started Escape Academy which I think I'll enjoy.
I bounced off Powerwash Simulator very quickly. Seeing a whole filthy garden for the first proper level after taking ages just to clean the van was a big nope.
Re: Review: Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels – Back For An Enjoyable Second Lap
It's all new to me so I've only positives so far. Maybe you want a bit more but it is only an expansion and not a completely new game.
Re: Talking Point: Xbox Series S Owners, How's Your Storage Looking In 2022?
It's really not much of an issue for me. I play a game and delete it and don't have too many on the go at once. I can see how others would have a problem if, as you say, they play Warzone (which should never be the size it is).
Re: How To Complete All Xbox Game Pass Quests In 2022
@rhyno_888 are you in a country that doesn't have these?
I usually use my gamepass app on my phone but they are on the Xbox GP app if you just scroll down a bit.
Re: How To Complete All Xbox Game Pass Quests In 2022
Lovely. Citizen Sleeper is on my to play list so I'll take the points too
Re: Xbox Game Pass Hit Sniper Elite 5 Gets New Patch, Here's What's Included
@Spaceman-Spiff the dead zones were ridiculous and made aiming almost impossible for me. I'm not sure how much this patch improved it though, I only played a short time with it and the difference didn't seem to be massive.
Re: Microsoft Rewards Guide: How To Make 20,000 Points Per-Month With Xbox

Re: Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels DLC Is Packed With 4 'New Biomes' & Over 200KM Of Track
@pip_muzz I'm ready for it now too.
Re: When Is The Xbox And Bethesda Games Showcase 2022?
I don't think I'll be watching live (not the most convenient time for me) but I'm sure there'll be plenty of coverage on here afterwards.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 11-12)
Trying to get up a few leaderboards in FH 5 and it's appearance on the weekly rewards tasks has got Lost in Random off of my play later list.
Re: How To Claim 2500+ Bonus Microsoft Points On Xbox In June 2022
Lovely. Just over 18k points last month for a few minutes a day on my phone and just about playing the games I would anyway.
Re: Microsoft Rewards: How To Complete The Stranger Things Punch Card For 500 Points
I was having issues and this solved it. Thanks.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Release Date Predictions For Starfield & Redfall?
When is Easter? I'm sure they'll be aiming to get one out by then.
I'll answer my own question without even editing - 9th April.
Re: Bethesda Delays Starfield And Redfall To First Half Of 2023
Sort of expected. If a game has a definite release date as far in advance as Starfield had its never going to make it.
So with this news out of the way what's left from any of MS studios this year?
Re: Microsoft Could Be Set To Release An Xbox Streaming Device Within The Next Year

Re: Microsoft Rewards: How To Complete The Forza Horizon 5 Punch Card
I'll happily donate any points I make from this. Unfortunately as FH5 is my most played game the achievements left are pretty thin on the ground.
Re: How To Complete All Xbox Game Pass Quests In 2022
@Krzzystuff looks like it. Only three weeklies means you can't miss one for the 1000 point monthly. If it stays like this.
Re: Xbox Games With Gold For May 2022 Announced
@nofriendo it's one I've looked at many times so it's a good month for me.
Re: Deals: Three Huge Sales Are Now Live On Xbox, 300+ Games Discounted
When was the last time Return of the Obra Dinn was on sale?
Re: 'Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion' Surprise Launches On Xbox Game Pass
Does look quite good.
Re: Pick One: Which Of These Rare Replay Games Is Your Favourite?
Blast Corps for me. I could still play on my N64 but it a bit easier to use the Rare Replay route.
Re: No Man's Sky Brings Its 'Outlaws' Update To Xbox Game Pass
I've given this game loads of chances and it's just not for me. I find the first few hours fun then it it just gets boring for me.
The continued support is great though. They must still be generating enough money to make it worthwhile.
