Ahead of the massive GTA 6 Extended Look reveal on Thursday, the folks over at Rockstar Games have finally acknowledged the leak situation and issued a lengthy statement in regards to it.
They say the leaks have been "heartbreaking for our team" and that it's "obviously not how we intended you to see the game after all this time", before then apologising for how long it's taken for GTA 6 itself to come to fruition.
Here's the full statement that was posted to social media just a few minutes ago:
We've already heard how Xbox has gotten involved in trying to track the leaker(s) down, but gameplay clips have continued to spill out over the past few days, to the point where over 10 separate leaks have already been shared now.
The Extended Look on Thursday will hopefully provide a much better glimpse at what to expect from the final version of GTA 6 though, and here's hoping the leaks don't delve into spoiler territory in the days and/or weeks ahead.
