I'm playing through Solasta crown of the magister on my Xbox. An isometric rpg. Not really used to this kind of game I usually play third person rpgs so it feels newish. It's doable if I take my time. The game itself if pretty nice a good story. Maybe I'll try my first few steps in Elden Ring. Normally not my type of game and after banging my head at Sekiro and miserably failing at it I haven't tried another souls like. Seeing this is open world should make it a lot easier so gonna try out some build to see what I want to play
On my ps5 I just got the platinum for Nights of Azure so now it's on to God of War for my first playthrough. Looks absolutely stunning and since ragnarok was one of the reasons I bought a ps5 I had to play the 2018 version first.
I'm perfectly satisfied with my series s. When I bought the console it was the only one available. Since I don't play many games at the same time the disk space isn't an issue I'll delete games when I'm done anyways. There aren't many next gen games avaliable anyways so having an x isn't really worth it yet for me imo. Maybe later down the line when more next gen games will be avaliable I might get the x, but until now the series s perfectly suits my needs. It really is a small beast
Not really something that interests me, but thankfully i still have a ton of games i still want to play on gamepass, so not every month has to have new and interesting games for me
@J_Mo_Money @Royalblues and you know what the good part is we almost certainly will get a sequel or dlc for As Dusk Falls, there is still one major plot line open after the ending and I think that one might be told selerately. Kind funny had the game director on their spoikercast and she didn't confirm it but her facial expression after the question was shining bright so I expect something there. I loved the game and will certainly replay it soon because the options you have in the game and how it changes the story are huge, such a great first game for them. And good to see Xbox publishing supporting these kind of original and great games
On my Xbox I just finished As Dusk falls, which was a brilliant story game, really loved it. So now back to AC origins.
On my ps5 I'm finishing Stray. Original idea and great visuals but the gameplay isn't anything special. Being limited to only jump on fixed places removes the sense of freedom. Most puzzles are also not really puzzles way to easy to solve them. Expected more of it. After finishing it I'll go back to Nights of Azure another ps plus game. Actions jrpg which is pretty standard in all sorts of ways but I'm enjoying it
It's a very good game and very entertaining. The art style isn't for everyone but I actually like it, it gives some sort of visual novel vibe. The story is not something you see in games often. The whole idea of having max 8 people work together and see how people would react in certain situations is also nicely done, I will play this game alone but I can see people playing this with theirs non gaming friends just to see how people would react. I'll prolly do other playthrough in the future because from what I hear choices really matter in this one. If I could score it it would be a solid 8 out of 10 for me personally
Playing ac Origins on my Xbox. My 2nd attempt at it, couldn't get into it the first time, didn't like it as much as oddysey and valhalla. 2nd time feels a lot better think the 60 fps patch helps a lot.
On my ps5 I just started night of azure through ps plus extra. An action jrpg, can't say much about it yet though since I just started
Let's hope this one is a bit more friendly for non USA residents unlike Microsoft rewards. Here in Europe the Microsoft rewards aren't all that special. But yeah I always see these things as bonus since I'm doing them anyways getting a reward for that is a big plus
On my Xbox it's still dq11 nearing the end of the story arc now. Only have the last boss to go and then it's post game stuff if I feel like it.
On my ps5 I'm playing Lost words beyond the page. Almost done with it. Pretty original platformer with a gripping story. The gameplay is very basic but it's very relaxing. When I'm done I'm going to either continue Infamous second son or go play Doki Doki literature club plus.
I delete my games when I'm done and I don't play multiplayer games so it isn't a problem for me really. But I get for people with slow internet or who are playing multiple games it can be a problem
@themightyant well if the series x was readily available I might have gotten one. At launch I only got a series s and that is still working fine for me, not many games which underperform on a series s compared to x which I play. Later on when it's readily available I might get the x and move the s to my office room or bedroom, but as long as I'm satisfied with the s I only feel like I'm taking someone else's x who really wants it if I would buy one now.
Still playing dq 11 on my Xbox, what a brilliant game it is. Very relaxing game in everything. Music is amazing, story is great, gameplay is pretty easy to pick up as well. Enjoying my time with it. I also started dead space for the monthly forum game, but that doesn't really seem to be my type of game. I'll keep on playing it a bit to see if I continue it or not.
Always good to see the execs within the big 3 playing each others games and showing nothing but respect for each other. You saw it with Phil Spencer and GoW and now Cory Barlog with Starfield. They are showing they are gamers and can enjoy games no matter which platform. I'm also very interested in both, can't wait to play them
On my Xbox I'm playing Dq11. What an absolute gem. The artstyle and music are all pretty cheerful and that combined with the easy to understand gameplay make this a very relaxing game. I can totally understand all the praise this game gets.
On my ps5 I finished the story in fist of the north star. Since I'm not done with the game yet doing some side stories and mini games and such getting a few trophies here and there on the side. I'll skip the plat because of the difficulty requirement but that's fine.since this will become a side game now I started Spiderman. Having acces to it now with the new playstation plus. Let's see how I like this one it's supposed to be very good.
@S1ayeR74 exactly. That combined with the effort from Xbox on getting more Japanese games on Xbox which was once again made clear during the Xbox showcase, doesn't make this to surprising. Sure lifetime the playstation will probably outsell the Xbox by a landslide but it's clear that Xbox is gaining ground in Japan and a logical reason why that is. This is positive for people who like Japanese games on Xbox as well since the better Xbox is doing in Japan the higher the chance more Japanese games will follow
@Stoned_Patrol Ah good to know there also is a bot mode. Thanks didnt know that, guess i'll try that one as well then. I've tried some other multiplayer or BR games in the past like some Call of Duty and Battlefield games and such. But i always die so fast that it takes the fun out of it for me. I am a fan of this type of action melee combat so who knows this one might click better than the shooters i tried/
I'm going to try the campaign mode of Naraka. Not a fan of MP games so won't try the BR part, but the combat and art style look up my alley so i'll give the campaign a try.
Naraka bladepoint is supposed to have a campaign mode which i would like to try. It looks pretty interesting, but not into multiplayer games. Farcry 5 and shadowrun i might give a try in the future. They just keep adding games i would like to try and my play later list keeps getting larger. Seeing ps plus also launches this week surely doesn't help this.
@Banjo- from what I've read crisis core spoils some stuff in the og ff7. So normally people recommend to play crisis core after ff7. Since you already played it it's a toughie. Then it kinda depends on if you think you'll remember the story of 7 while playing crisis core first. But the safest bet would always be to play 7 first and crisis core after.
@Bobobiwan yeah I know I'm about 25 years late to the party but it was my first ever playthrough. Since I wanted to play 7r I decided to play the original one first, since I got that advise from several people. Glad I played it, even now it's still a good game. Good to hear I'm going to enjoy Crisis core, from what I've seen I'm sure I'm going to like it. After that I'll play the remake, I already own that one on my ps5, but yeah it would be awesome for people with only an Xbox if it would come over there as well. I prefer having the choice where to play it. Crisis core Soul Hackers 2 and the Persona games I'm all going to buy on Xbox to show I also want those Japanese games over on Xbox as well and if enough people will do that we migjt get more Japanese games over.
@Kaloudz I'm generally not a big fan of mobile games they tend to be full of micro transactions, but if this one isn't then I might play it, I'll wait and see
@Kaloudz From what I understood, ff7r is a combination between a remake and a sequel. They expect you to have played the og ff7 to understand all subtleties from the remake. At least that's the info I get from reading other people's comments. Haven't played it myself yet, wil do 7r after crisis core.
The story of OG 7 was very good. The game feels old in a lot of ways but since the story was so good it didn't bother me at all. I only beat Sephiroth and understood all the weapons were optional so didn't do them.
@LOGICWINS well crisis core seems to be a remaster of a game which ties in to the OG Ff7, which is avaliable on Xbox. I just finished the og ff7 and that's partially why I get so excited about this game. That's why I will certainly buy this game one Xbox because that way I'm showing these type games belong on Xbox as well.
I'm very excited about this game. It looks amazing for a remaster, the combat also looks like action which I prefer over other combat. So yeah this will almost certainly be a day 1 for me
@Titntin yeah Ghostwire is underrated imo. It was such an amazing experience. I even got the platinum for it. I hope when its on gamepass more people will try it. It's such a relaxing experience and the mythological atmosphere in Shibuya was relaxing. If people approach it in a relaxing way and not a full blown action game and are into Japanese stuff they will surely enjoy the game. I can't recommend it enough.
@NEStalgia I doubt they change much about it since its labeled as a remaster and not a remake. Most of the time when it's a remaster they keep the game as close to the original as possible. I hope more people will get excited to play the OG ff7 when Crisis core comes out, because even if it is 25 years old, the story is still amazing. Sure the graphics, sound and controls feel a bit old, but that didnt bother me that much while playing.
I think i will hold off with my first playthrough of ff7r (which i already own on my ps5) until i played crisis core. That way i can enjoy the "original" games before i play the remake.
@Kaloudz Yeah crisis core was probably a whole separate deal from the ff7r deal Sony and Square made for exclusivity. But oh well at least i have all systems so i can play all the games, so nothing to complain but yeah, all the exclusivity is sometimes confusing if a game will or will not ever come to a certain system.
I just finished the OG ff7 for the first time this week. So i am looking forward to this one. Hearing good things about the original Crisis core and absolutely loving the OG ff7 i'm excited to play this
@Kaloudz Yeah it sucks. Couldn't watch it live so just woke up to this news. If it would have come it would be such a huge deal for Xbox and Japanese games. I own it for a while on my ps5 already, just have play it stil haha, but mainly for getting the Japanese games over i would love to see it on Xbox. But it's starting to look more an more that aint gonna happen
@Kaloudz I so hope it's true that leak. After persona 5 also ff7r being announced in the same week would be huge. That would boost the sales in Japan which could mean more Japanese games to Xbox, which would be amazing. That way more and mroe Japanese developers will put their games on Xbox which will lead to more sales in Japan and so on. That would give me more and more a choice of choosing where to play those games
Tough choice between the persona reveal and Diablo 4. Glad to see Japanese games finally coming to Xbox this potentially opens the door for more developers to release on Xbox. I was hoping for the last class and gameolay from D4 and that's what I got. And it already was one of my most anticipated games. Spent so much time in d2 and d3 already and the good thing is, crossplay! So can finally play from my Xbox with my wife who plays on pc.
@TownYsend Because there are still way more people with an active live gold subsciption than GPU members. Last report of MAU with live gold was around 100 mil. gamepass last MAU was around 25 mil
This kind of game isn't my thing. These kind of metroidvania style games tend to be very challenging and i dont like challenging games at all. The art style of this game looks amazing though and im sure the people love this kind of game will understans that Phil picked this one.
It has a lot of interesting games which i havent played yet. When it launches in Europe next week ill upgrade my plus to premium for sure. I was going to do extra first until saw they had Legend of heroes Trial in the sky, which i havent played yet. So ill try those for sure.
@UltimateOtaku91 they prolly can't talk about deathloop and or ghostwire because of the exclusivity deal. They day it drops on gamepass will probably the day they are allowed to communicate it and the exclusivity ends.
This is very good news. It is very noticeable Xbox is trying hard to get more Japanese games with the Kojima game and the team ninja gamepass game and then this... I already own p5r on my ps5 but have yet to play it. And nver played 3 and 4. So good to see they will be ported over on Xbox as well. This will probably pull in more Japanese customers which will pull in more Japanese gamea. So hopefully more jrpgs on Xbox soon.
@RevGaming only a Sony fan boy like you would think that state of play was better than this show. I love both my Xbox and ps5 equally and have no preference for brand but the Xbox show was clearly better. Sony fanboys like you who only come here to hate on Xbox like you and Otaku start to annoy me. So have fun on the block list
@MiGke the problem with people like that is that the gaming world is going somewhere they don't like and instead of moving over to another hobby where they can find more interesting stuff they just like to be negative in these kind of topics how much shows like this suck. If gaming isn't for you anymodw move on
@RevGaming lol what? Calisto protocol isnt even from a aaa studio so calling that bigger than Diablo 4, overwatch 2 or forza motorsport to name a few lol. Sorry m8 but that's where you are wrong.
@BartoxTharglod good because from your other posts I can already see it's a you problem not that of the show. Have fun with not having fun with anything because nothing is going to be good enough for you..
@BartoxTharglod taste isn't the same as the quality of a show. The state of play had 0 games for me but I still ranked it as a good show, because it had value. This show also had a hugh value even it isn't your taste. The show was good, fast paced not to much talking in between and enough different content for everyone and the best thing a lot of gameplay
Did the people above watch a different show than I did or what? This show had about 2 times as many interesting games than the state of play and game fest combined. For me it was a solid a
Gameplay for starfield, redfall, Contraband, forza ms, pentiment as dusk falls as published titles. Judgment and lost judgment instantly available on gamepass, release date and gameplay of a plague tale. Goldeneye release date. And outside of that no idea. But this is what I at least want to see
I don't think we'll see anything Banjo related tomorrow. Rare is already working on so much stuff, so theoretically double fine would be the other candidate but I doubt they want to make banjo. Even though Xbox needs more brand icons and need more platform or family friendly content in general I doubt it will come soon.
@Kaloudz thanks for the extra info m8, seems I still have a lot of good stuff ahead of me. Will take a while before I'll finish them all since i generally differentiate between type of games I'm playing so will probably do a non jrpg game once I finished 7 and after that I'll probably play 8. I'll let you know if I start those and what I think about it
@Kaloudz haven't played those yet. I only played 14 and 15. Always been more of a pc mmo player and really started to play more single player games this generation. Since I loved playing 14 so much I decided to try out the rest. Couldn't really get into 15, even though I like action combat generally something feels off in that game. I bought 7 to 10 on a sale recently and will play the others too later on

Re: Pick One: What's Your Favourite 'Free' Game On Xbox Right Now?
I think Path of Exiles is the one I played most. Tried warzone, destiny 2 and halo infinite mp, but I'm not a big Pvp fan, so I tend to stay away from those titles mentioned. I rather play a single player game nowadays. Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite Moment Of 2022's Xbox Games Showcases?
@Kaloudz I so hope it's true that leak. After persona 5 also ff7r being announced in the same week would be huge. That would boost the sales in Japan which could mean more Japanese games to Xbox, which would be amazing. That way more and mroe Japanese developers will put their games on Xbox which will lead to more sales in Japan and so on. That would give me more and more a choice of choosing where to play those games
Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite Moment Of 2022's Xbox Games Showcases?
Tough choice between the persona reveal and Diablo 4. Glad to see Japanese games finally coming to Xbox this potentially opens the door for more developers to release on Xbox.
I was hoping for the last class and gameolay from D4 and that's what I got. And it already was one of my most anticipated games. Spent so much time in d2 and d3 already and the good thing is, crossplay! So can finally play from my Xbox with my wife who plays on pc.
Re: Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (June 16-19)
@TownYsend Because there are still way more people with an active live gold subsciption than GPU members. Last report of MAU with live gold was around 100 mil. gamepass last MAU was around 25 mil
Re: Phil Spencer Picks Out A Game Pass Highlight From The Xbox Showcase 2022
This kind of game isn't my thing. These kind of metroidvania style games tend to be very challenging and i dont like challenging games at all. The art style of this game looks amazing though and im sure the people love this kind of game will understans that Phil picked this one.
Re: PlayStation's Xbox Game Pass Competitor Goes Live Today In The US
It has a lot of interesting games which i havent played yet. When it launches in Europe next week ill upgrade my plus to premium for sure. I was going to do extra first until saw they had Legend of heroes Trial in the sky, which i havent played yet. So ill try those for sure.
Re: These 50 Games Are Coming To Xbox / PC In The Next 12 Months
@UltimateOtaku91 the developer of stalker 2 is from the Ukraine. They had to stop development for several months. It also shows as a 2023 title now
Re: These 50 Games Are Coming To Xbox / PC In The Next 12 Months
@UltimateOtaku91 they prolly can't talk about deathloop and or ghostwire because of the exclusivity deal. They day it drops on gamepass will probably the day they are allowed to communicate it and the exclusivity ends.
Re: Three Persona Games Are Officially Coming To Xbox Game Pass
This is very good news. It is very noticeable Xbox is trying hard to get more Japanese games with the Kojima game and the team ninja gamepass game and then this... I already own p5r on my ps5 but have yet to play it. And nver played 3 and 4. So good to see they will be ported over on Xbox as well. This will probably pull in more Japanese customers which will pull in more Japanese gamea. So hopefully more jrpgs on Xbox soon.
Re: Xbox Exclusive 'As Dusk Falls' Heads To Game Pass Next Month
@Chaudy looks like that type of game yes. So life is strange telltale etc. It looks pretty fun
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Xbox Games Showcase 2022?
@RevGaming only a Sony fan boy like you would think that state of play was better than this show. I love both my Xbox and ps5 equally and have no preference for brand but the Xbox show was clearly better. Sony fanboys like you who only come here to hate on Xbox like you and Otaku start to annoy me. So have fun on the block list
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Xbox Games Showcase 2022?
@MiGke the problem with people like that is that the gaming world is going somewhere they don't like and instead of moving over to another hobby where they can find more interesting stuff they just like to be negative in these kind of topics how much shows like this suck. If gaming isn't for you anymodw move on
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Xbox Games Showcase 2022?
@RevGaming lol what? Calisto protocol isnt even from a aaa studio so calling that bigger than Diablo 4, overwatch 2 or forza motorsport to name a few lol. Sorry m8 but that's where you are wrong.
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Xbox Games Showcase 2022?
@BartoxTharglod good because from your other posts I can already see it's a you problem not that of the show. Have fun with not having fun with anything because nothing is going to be good enough for you..
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Xbox Games Showcase 2022?
@BartoxTharglod taste isn't the same as the quality of a show. The state of play had 0 games for me but I still ranked it as a good show, because it had value. This show also had a hugh value even it isn't your taste. The show was good, fast paced not to much talking in between and enough different content for everyone and the best thing a lot of gameplay
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade The Xbox Games Showcase 2022?
Did the people above watch a different show than I did or what? This show had about 2 times as many interesting games than the state of play and game fest combined. For me it was a solid a
Re: Talking Point: What Are Your Expectations For The 2022 Xbox Games Showcase?
Gameplay for starfield, redfall, Contraband, forza ms, pentiment as dusk falls as published titles. Judgment and lost judgment instantly available on gamepass, release date and gameplay of a plague tale. Goldeneye release date. And outside of that no idea. But this is what I at least want to see
Re: Diablo 4 'Future Beta' Sign-Ups Now Live For Xbox Series X|S
Thanks for the shout out I registered for the beta. Looking forward to this one. Curious when it will finally be here
Re: Rumour: Banjo-Kazooie Revival Could Be Announced At Xbox Showcase 2022
I don't think we'll see anything Banjo related tomorrow. Rare is already working on so much stuff, so theoretically double fine would be the other candidate but I doubt they want to make banjo. Even though Xbox needs more brand icons and need more platform or family friendly content in general I doubt it will come soon.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 11-12)
@Kaloudz thanks for the extra info m8, seems I still have a lot of good stuff ahead of me. Will take a while before I'll finish them all since i generally differentiate between type of games I'm playing so will probably do a non jrpg game once I finished 7 and after that I'll probably play 8. I'll let you know if I start those and what I think about it
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 11-12)
