Three Xbox Games Dated For Nintendo Switch 2, Starfield Also Rumoured For PS5 In April

We've got more Xbox first-party games heading to other consoles in the near future, with three of them being featured as part of today's Nintendo Direct showcase — those being Fallout 4, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will be arriving for Switch 2 on February 24th, 2026, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch on May 12th, 2026, and Oblivion Remastered will release at some point (TBD) in 2026.

Beyond this, it's also being rumoured that Starfield will be releasing for PS5 on April 7th, 2026 — with this rumour originating from the Polish website PPE. The website shared the following image earlier today:

For what it's worth, well-known leaker Shinobi602 has suggested Starfield has been "pushed out" for Switch 2 and "might not come at all."

We'll let you know what happens with Starfield in the future, but those other Nintendo Switch reveals are definitely official and confirmed — you can go and pre-order most of them for your Switch 2 today if you want to!

But as an owner of all three current consoles, I love seeing this.

@dskatter I feel the same way, game is a bug-filled, glitch-riddled pile of load screen infested spaghetti code. But —I’m really interested to see actual numbers on this thing, not evasive terminology like ‘player engagement’. I want to see sales figures and this is how we’re going to get them.

I've been saying for a while that Starfield will make the jump to PlayStation early this year, and I think that it will be shown at the Nintendo showcase, but release on both the Switch 2 and the PS5 on the same day.

Question is, will the new expansion release at the same time?

Any knowledge on that last part, @FraserG..?

Doom TDA is inevitable and I could see Hellblade 2 showing up eventually.

Question is whether new games such as Fable, GOW: E-Day, and Halo Remake are possible.

Personally I think Psychonauts 2 would be ideal, but realistically Double Fine don’t have resources to do a port and I’m sceptical that Xbox will bother allocating resources to a third party porting company when there are much bigger franchises that are eligible to port.

@dskatter I think Starfield is a good game many enjoyed. I just don't think it's a great game. More than enough people will enjoy it enough on PS5 just as they did on Xbox. You make it sound like it's awful.

Looking forward to seeing how these games run in the switch 2 and while I did find starfield a bit dull it's not a terrible game definitely not as bad as some people are making out especially in it current form!

@themightyant It was awful for me. I very much disliked it. And I own it on disc!

It’s almost like two different people can have differing opinions on the same thing!
