
Last night was a busy one for indie showcases! With the Steam Next Fest taking place in just a few days' time, we've been seeing all sorts of developers and publishers trying to plug their free demos as part of the promotion, and there are two particularly notable events to mention from an Xbox perspective - the Indie Fan Fest 2026 and Convergence Games Showcase 2026.
Both of these featured plenty of games that are also coming to Xbox consoles, some of which are even set for Xbox Game Pass launches on day one! Down below, we've picked out all the reveals (which we classify as new trailers and release dates) from these showcases, as well as one other game (Silent Planet - Elegy of a Dying World) from the more PC-focused Quebec Games Celebration Showcase 2026 that also took place last night.

Aphelion - Gameplay Deep Dive (Spring 2026) (Xbox Game Pass)

Awaysis - Steam Demo Trailer (TBD) (Xbox Game Pass)
The ultimate dungeon brawler. A revolutionary, physics-fueled throwdown where you’ll jump, slide, and collide on your adventure to restore peace to the Awaysis - an ancient floating relic under attack by forces of great darkness!
Coffee Talk Tokyo - New Release Date Trailer (May 21, 2026)
Coffee Talk Tokyo gets a new release date. Coffee Talk Tokyo is the newest instalment of the beloved coffee brewing and heart-to-heart talking simulator. It brings the warmth, heart, and delicious drinks from the previous games to an all-new café in Tokyo where humans and yokai alike share their stories. Coffee Talk will be available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 (PS5), and Xbox on May 21, 2026.
Curse of Resthaven - Official Trailer (TBD)

Flip, trick and grind your train in a fast-paced, off-the-rails ride through a colourful Japanese dystopia. Outmatch rival gangs, wreck a shady megacorp, and take back the tracks with nothing but skill, speed, and style.
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories - Official Trailer (April 2026)
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is a third-person, single-player cozy slice-of-life game set in a small-town convenience store inspired by early 1990s Japan. Stock shelves, chat with regulars, and see how small choices shape everyday stories.
Let's Build a Dungeon - Official Overview Trailer (TBD 2026)
Manage a game studio making the world’s greatest MMORPG. Hire designers, coders, and testers, create a fantasy world, then welcome hundreds of virtual players. If they get bored they will cancel their subscription and your investors will have your head. You can even play the game you create.

Planet of Lana 2 - Wemari Forest & Village Gameplay (March 5, 2026) (Xbox Game Pass)
Explore the Wemari Forest and Village in this new Planet of Lana II gameplay reveal. Discover clever puzzles and witness Lana and Mui’s next heartfelt adventure.
Pro Jank Footy - Console Trailer (TBD 2026)
Australia will finally get the footy game it deserves, with Pro Jank Footy to release across all major consoles including PlayStation (PS5), Microsoft Xbox (Series X|S), Nintendo (Switch, Switch 2) as well as PC and Steamdeck in 2026!
Silent Planet - Elegy of a Dying World - Console Trailer (TBD)
Players will fight through a sprawling underground facility to retrieve the mysterious Angel’s Egg in the year 2997. Make sense of a long-gone civilization in Silent Planet - Elegy of a Dying World, coming soon to PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox, and PC (Steam).
Teeto - Official Gameplay Trailer (TBD 2026)
Get a fresh look at gameplay from Teeto in this latest trailer for the upcoming game. Explore a world of mayhem and Michaels! Join Teeto the blob and Nory the bunny in this 3D adventure platformer to stop the shadow corruption from spreading. Absorb wild powers, help eccentric characters, and save the world - one Michael at a time! Teeto will be available on PC and consoles in Q2 2026.
Townseek - Platform Announcement Trailer (TBD 2026)
As we gear up to launch simultaneously on PC and consoles later this year, it’s the perfect time to step aboard. Soar across Explora on a whimsical journey, meet a colourful cast of characters, and discover lively towns waiting beyond every horizon.
Wax Heads - Steam Demo Trailer (TBD 2026)
Wax Heads is a cozy-punk narrative sim about managing a struggling record store. Chat to quirky customers with unique tastes, explore a handcrafted record collection, fall in love with bands (and their drama!), or just slack off with your colleagues - whatever gets everyone’s groove back!

Aphelion looks so good. Not sure whether I will buy it, or play it on Game Pass. As I basically play nothing on the Service, I guess it would be better to make use of it, but I do prefer to own my games. Decisions, decisions... 😂
Luna Abyss - Scourge Crater looks like something to keep an eye on too. Not sure I will want to pre-order it, but certainly may be something to pick up in a sale at some point if the reviews are decent...
