All they need to do is make the character movement more fluid and free like Oblivion, staying away from the "walking on rails" movement from Skyrim and I'm in. If not, then I'm just not doing it this time around. I don't want a Fallout/Skyrim movement scheme. Its boring. It makes the game stiff. It destroyed my experience with both Fallout and Skyrim. Didn't read based on the headline. I already know the specs of the handheld. Don't you dare sit here and praise a last-gen system with only 24GB of RAM. It will start lagging and dropping frames by yesterday. MS really messed up by having such a limp noodle handheld.

I canceled my pre-order after they increased Gamepass prices. It would be really sad if I got a 24GB handheld in 2025 anyway. Microsoft really blew it in so many ways this year. 32GB of ram minimum is the way.

@FraserG you work for xbox or purexbox? If xbox, you might want to let the tools upstairs know their cost to profit analysis is way off. 75% of users will cancel because we want day one games for $20. They'll lose money with how mad gamers are.

No go on this one. 24GB of RAM is last-gen tech. They really messed this up. They had alllll the time to let alllll the competition come out with their handheld. They knew what they were supposed to beat, and they didn't. Next gen handheld might be the time, but not now.

So pretty much: Don't buy these yet. Wait for a 2nd gen handheld that can pump out adequate frames.

Sadly, only 24GB of RAM will not give the Ally X a very long life cycle. You're looking at RAM specs that are barely acceptable for next gen titles, especially on PC. If they would have included 32GB, thenI'd be buying one. But nay.

@Decimateh no worse than Google allowing bot review scores, so that P2W games with 9 out of 10 written reviews being 1-star (conformed after scrolling for miles and manually reviewing tens of thousands of written reviews) can somehow maintain 4.5-star or higher average.
