This is why Xbox needs to get better with physical releases. Besides a few most of Xbox’s first party games have been dog s h I t physical releases with hardly no game being fully on disc.

Will also say Xbox can F itself for not doing a proper physical release with the game being fully on disc when it’s only 69 GB. If xbox and halo fanboys are gonna use this as a gotcha against Sony at least hold Xbox’s feet to the fire to do a proper physical release with the game fully on disc.

Seems like a good remake with some more controversial changes that some fans might nit pick. Score seems right. Just wish Xbox would stop with their BS physical releases. The game is only 69 GBs and it’s not even fully on disc for ps5. I’m going to need all the Xbox and halo fans using halo CE getting a physical release as a gotcha to be on Xbox’s butt about their terrible physical releases.

Seems like a good overall remake. Will say people bringing up ME legendary edition dropping the coop mode is overlooking the shear importance that mp has too halo.

Xbox can seriously go F itself for this physical release. Only a 69 gb (Nice) game file and these lazy F’s still can fully put the game on disc for PS5??? I jokingly said for the switch 2 release it’ll be fully on card like Indiana Jones and Oblivion remastered are but it’s seriously likely the only chance at a proper physical release will be on switch 2. It’s also sad and pathetic seeing all the halo and Xbox fans clowning on Sony (right so as well) for getting rid of physical games and yet accepting this BS. F Xbox.

@Fiendish-Beaver besides that, if they wanted to combine engine teams with say id tech and cod then do that and not fire some of the most talented people in the industry. Cod’s engine at base level is id tech based.

Man what a terrible company Xbox is. Studios get bought out do as they’re told and then get shut down. Yes Sony shuts down studios too but they didn’t spend over $90 billion on studios only to shut down ones that released well reviewed games that seemingly performed well like tango and Arkane Lyon have done. Mean crap they want too focus more on AAA exclusives, a AAA big budget marvel ip is a good bet.🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I get that this might not have been the best game to publish but I swear Xbox seems incapable of making smart 2nd party deals. Xbox has problems buying studios that have no prior connection with them and they have problems with starting their own studios, and now they are too scare of making bets with potential new 2nd party teams even though that’s literally how we got playground. This is the area where Xbox should be making bets.

Insane. I still will give Matt Booty hate and smoke cause this is mostly on him. At this point selfishly I just want the bigger AAA studios to be maintained selfishly. I would have wished that Xbox would have elevated some of these teams to higher levels but that didn’t happen. In reality these AA teams if the want to continue to make games at the levels they have been they would be better off being independent as sad as that is.

@J_Mo_Money I call it how I see it. You are saying Gears E day isn’t a live service game when it’s going to have mtx and is a full multiplayer game. You act like gears reloaded is a good indicator of ps5 sales when it was a middling remaster of a 10 year old remaster. Reality is that these price hikes are another rake that Xbox stepped on. Xbox messed more then PlayStation does, that’s the reality of things.

Unfortunately but not shocking. Very selfish to say but I hope the rumor of ninja theory, compulsion, double fine, worlds edge and the flight sim team being the ones to shut down is right and the others are left,

@Banjo- lol it’s not a bad game but with wasn’t great either. Also yes of course it sold like crap on ps5 and switch 2 cause it’s a middling to average game and it released a full year later.

I do wonder if the expansive and unique single player mode could end up giving this game the edge over Forza Horizon 6, at least in terms of awards season. Playground is without question one of the best studios working today but it’s very fair to say that their single player offerings with 6 is easily its worst part. Not bad but it is its weak aspect. Either way new games in genres that do well is always good and Playgorund can definitely use some more competition in the arcade side of racing.

Not shocking but it’s also not my biggest issue with GTA 6. $80 for a code in a box is nasty work. But at least it helps my gaming schedule by freeing up November.
