Nice list of games. There’s a few that are missing, but the list is pretty good.

This is the game I was most excited for and I was very pleased. Like many, I was hoping for 3rd person, but I’m very happy with the look of the game. Feels very true to the Indiana Jones franchise.

I thought he did a great job. Not exactly like Harrison Ford, but he sounds very similar.

I was hoping for 3rd person but I still think the game looks great. I’m also surprised it’s coming this year. So looking forward to this release!

I wasn’t expecting a shadow drop. Do it once, and many expect it every time. It was a great treat last year but I’m not expecting one this year.

I never like to see a platform get skipped but I can understand their reasoning here. I wasn’t going to buy these so it’s not a loss for me, but disappointing for those that wanted a copy of the game.

Interesting, I’m so looking forward to this direct. I love Indiana Jones and this new title has me so curious. So many possibilities.

I’d love another surprise at the Developers Direct this year but I’m not banking on it. Could have been a one time thing. If it’s there, great! If not, I’m not disappointed because I’m not expecting it to be there every year.

I think all except Indiana Jones will get a date. I’m not even thinking Indiana Jones will be this year. I was expecting this game to come out sometime in 2026 the earliest. I know last year everything they showed in the direct came out the same year, but I’m thinking they are changing it a bit. Would be a wonderful surprise if Indiana Jones released this year.

I loved these games. I’m surprised by some of the comments that didn’t like them. Not trying to troll them, they are more than welcome to have a valid opinion of the game. I had a blast with the Arkham games.

Looks like a great list of games to cover. I’m very interested in Indiana Jones.

I am excited for this one. Loved the old movies. Love exploration and puzzle games. This one has so much potential.

I’m very curious about this one. Looking forward to playing it. Loved the TR games back in the day. Would be nice to revisit them.

Many are thinking it’s Hi Fi Rush, but I heard it was either Microsoft Flight Simulator or Sea of Thieves. Either way it’s all a rumor till it gets announced.

@Banjo- I totally agree with all of that. I also liked 3 even though content was cut, my favorite remake was the first remake, and I was disappointed in 7 and 8. They weren’t bad games, I just felt 7 overdid it with gore and 8 was trying to be RE 4.

@AlwaysPlaying you’re in for a treat, this is one of the best in the RE series.

Played this when it launched. For anybody who hasn’t played it yet, I highly recommend it. Great game!

I’m very curious what they have cooking up over there. Double Fine are so creative and talented. Can’t wait to see what they can deliver under Microsoft’s funding.

I think it all depends. For me, yes it’s over. I moved on from that system and I’m onto my Series X. For my youngest, no. He still loves his Xbox One as he mostly plays free games like Fortnight. I think it depends more on the demographic you’re asking.

I’m not much of a fan of any of them but if I had to pick one, I’d say green as it’s the Xbox color.

That’s quite the list, and I haven’t played any of them yet. Maybe I’ll get some time soon to start trying some of these out.

I’m not surprised by these results, but I have a feeling it’s going to set some people off. There was a lot going on with Xbox this past year. Starfield was a big anticipated game. There was a lot of hype and talk. It makes sense they both took the top spots of most covered.

I’m very curious about the new Jet Set Radio game. I loved the original the the Dreamcast so much, it’s the reason I bought the OG Xbox for JSRF. I’m really hoping this new one is great. I’m looking forward to the rest of the games as well as I’m a huge SEGA fan, but Jet Set Radio is the one I’m most excited for.

13 million is great! I’ve yet to play it. Been busy with other games and personal things. When I free up some time, I’ll be giving the game a shot.

One of the things Bloober does well is atmosphere. Maybe teaming up with another company, they’ll have better stories and better combat. They seem to get through games pretty quickly, I’d like to see them grow and start delivering games at the next level. In time, I think they could potentially start delivering some pretty good games.

@StonyKL I could be wrong but this is my theory on why they are so far behind the pack. I think it has to do with the reputation the Xbox brand became known as during the Xbox One generation. It was “cool” to poke fun of Xbox then just because. Even now there are still articles and videos where they get more clicks if it’s negative news about Xbox. It’s going to take time to tear down that reputation of “no games” or “no reason to buy one.” As Xbox continues to bring out great games year after year, I think they’ll start turning things around. They just need to get past being the “joke” if that makes any sense. That’s not how I see them, but it’s the perception I get from others that dislike the Xbox brand. Just my theory.

I so far have never had this issue on Xbox. I feel for those who have because it has happened to me on other platforms. It sucks but it is what it is.

I know it had its issues, but I loved this game. Was such a blast to play. I played it a couple weeks ago and still had so much fun. I will miss it when it’s gone.

I use it quite often. There’s been a few minor issues here and there, but for the most part, I LOVE IT!

I played it last week for the first time for about and hour or two. Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it. I might give it some more time this upcoming weekend.

@Fiendish-Beaver I think so too. When I saw the trailer for the game, I didn’t know about the new movie coming at the time. I remember Blade from the late 90’s/early 00’s, but the younger generation like my kids have no clue who he is. The Marvel movies have done so well, I think this one will too.

Very curious about this game. When it was first announced, I was wondering if Blade was big enough and relevant for today. Now I think it will be, especially if done right. Hope they see great success with this game.

I don’t need a Series X as I already have one, but that’s a good deal. The sales and discounts on the Series X and S this year have been more aggressive than years past. Hope this strategy works for them. Sell more consoles and Gamepass subscriptions.

Interesting article. I never really thought of it that way but it does make sense. Lately it seems like so many think it’s all “doom and gloom” for Xbox and “they should become 3rd party.” It’s nice to see another point of view where Xbox is needed.

My guess is this is exclusive and they aren’t saying anything because of the FTC drama.

I understand they released the trailer to announce the game and build hype for Xbox, but I wish they held out till it was closer to release… unless it is and they just aren’t telling us yet.

I’m sad they are closing the studio. I would have liked to of seen what the team came up with. I feel for all the people losing their jobs. It’s devastating.

@BacklogBrad I can totally see that point. Trying to find the balance of bringing these older games to a modern game but still capturing the feel of the older games. They seem to have quite a few games they are working on, I don’t think they’ll all hit, but I’m hopeful a few of them will at least.

As for the original creators being involved, I’m happy about that so it’s not taken in a completely different direction. That was one of my fears with JSR. That’s one I think could translate with today’s audience if it’s done well. Crazy Taxi was a blast, but that one would need to evolve a bit…. I’m hopeful for the best, but mentally preparing for the worst so I’m not disappointed if it’s not good.

@BacklogBrad I thought about that too. There were some Sonic games I thought needed more time or should have been shelved. What’s giving me hope is the different teams within SEGA. It’s not all going to be from the same people who made the bad Sonic games. Bringing back some of the original creators, maybe they brought back some of the team behind it as well with some new blood. I can totally see where one would have doubts, I’m hopeful they turned things around over there.

@belmont It’s just going to take time getting to them all. Being a huge SEGA fan as a kid, I just wanted more of the “variety” from them again. Some of these were sitting dormant close to 20 years and there’s still more Ecco, Altered Beast, Toe Jam & Earl, Column…. The amount of IP they have is crazy. The five they revealed gives me hope for the future!

I’m glad to learn the original creators of JSR are involved in the new one. I loved the original on Dreamcast, it’s the reason I bought the OG Xbox. Can’t wait for the new game.

It’s been a good time to revisit these IP for quite awhile now. They have so many IP just sitting there. It was about time some of them came back.

I haven’t played the game yet, but that issue is major for a game like this. Hours of play completely gone…. Very upsetting. Hopefully Larian and Xbox can figure it all out quickly.
