Consoles may not have the fps or resolution of a powerful PC, but they absolutely dominate all PC's when it comes to supplying steady frames.

I prefer linear games where the world is consistent and you work your way through levels.

Don't see the point in randomly produced levels.

Much rather have a fixed set of levels with a good story to work through.

They took a franchise that catered to a niche fanbase, then attempted to make a re-boot that appealed to a different type of fanbase without realising the original fanbase didn't want that.

I'm glad 'go woke, go broke' is actually a real effect.

If you cancel and ignore your original fanbase in an attempt to be woke and it hits your wallet hard, then that's your own fault for turning your back on the fanbase that gave you your original success.

It's entirely possible to disagree with the use of identity politics without being a racist.

I personally believe identity politics serves to further segregate society. In its current form i accuse it of teaching non-white people to hate white people and falsely accuse them of being racist (which is what you just did).

Altering the physical appearance of an existing character to empower a demograph purely based on race is a CAUSE of segregating members of society from each other.

It teaches people to hate one and other.

@Juanalf Incorrect. The colour, sex or sexual orientation of the lead isn't indicative of being woke.

So having a female latina lead isn't woke.

What would be woke however is taking an existing game that had an original lead character, changing the race, sex, or sexual orientation of that character and using that as a platform with the specific purpose of pushing identity politics to the audience.

An example would be making a new film based on the life of Ghandi and having the lead role be played by a female latino to specifically push out the message that female latino's can be empowered and play the role of Ghandi if they wanted to.

That is woke.

Take the new Little Mermaid film. Replacing Ariel with a black actress with design to empower little black girls is being woke. It is using the little mermaid as a political platform that plays identity politics to push out a political statement.

Had a new black mermaid film be created with a new black lead and not something that had replaced the original Ariel, that would not be woke, it would simply be a story of a mermaid that happened to be black.

@Kaloudz Almost all leaks are planned leaks as part of marketing campaigns. They are probably loving the publicity right now.

I have 2 wants from this game -

1) Please have a single player campaign and not be multiplayer only

2) Please don't pander the game to the woke crowd. GTA is controversial and badass, please don't change that

I completed the campaign, thought it was good, then went on to multiplayer.

After 5 minutes switched it off and uninstalled.

Multiplayer was a mess of over-engineered menus, options, and a trillion different ways to customise stuff.

There comes a point where more is never good.

Scale back the number of game modes, tone down the options, get rid of a billion different ways to customise your character.

Then i might be interested.

I have no urge to play anything emulated other than SNES / GENESIS / MAME.

Maybe it's because i grew up with those consoles and arcade period, but everything else just seems bad and boring.

Early 3d games don't age well and are boring af if you ask me.

The 360 was amazing in it's time, but even now it looks bad and there's nothing on it that modern consoles don't do better.

Same goes for PS 1 / 2 / 3.

@Relygon This is why i gave up PC gaming years ago. You are forever chasing better hardware to be able to play properly.

With consoles, they still look decent and the spec is the spec and that's it.

Not to mention that consoles are utterly superior when it comes to frametime.

My eyes are so sensitive to microstutter i can literally see it on every PC game i play. There is no better hardware that can fix this either. Unstable frametime is inherant on all PC's.

@FullMetalJumper Not too hard to believe. Track racers aren't as demanding as other games and Forza Motorsport has always historically hit milestone graphical benchmarks for consoles.

When it comes to console games, MS have dominated this gen in a big way.

I've had huge enjoyment from historic PlayStation gen's, but this gen XBox is the place to play.

MS literally let everyone play their games.

Sony have purposefully blocked Sony gamers from playing GamePass on PS5 because they've disabled the browser.

The best advice i can give you is ignore the PS5 and use an Android device if you don't own a PC or XBox.

That way you can play XBox games.

Renting has been around, co-existing with purchasing for literally decades.

Also, game rentals have been around since before the master system and nes days and have always been popular.

Psychonaughts 2 was a gem and i wanted to play more after completing it.

So I'm interested to see if Lost in Random will fill that little urge I got from Psychonaughts 2.

Might pick up terminator resistance.

If it's £20 or less, otherwise hard pass on everything.

Keyboard and mouse have such an advantage in some games because mouse is way more accurate than a controller.

It means if you want to win, you can't play with controller.

Wanted to play the hitman trilogy but i go to download it, there's about 10 downloads that start and all of them are hitman 3.

1 and 2 are just completely missing.

ISP cap may not have been in place.

Or the xbox was measuring uncompressed data speeds.

I hope shredders just focuses on the gameplay.

Steep had decent gameplay but actually getting to it was a barrier.

Personally i don't want to plan routes or see mountain layouts, just want to get into the game and focus on mastering gameplay.

Releases like this are good.

It allows us to catch up on backlogs.

GamePass is a big time money printer, how on Earth did you do the math and come to the result they are losing money from it lmfao.

MS make billions, whilst Sony is down to hundreds of millions.

The momentum is shifting and Sony business model is doomed on this trajectory.

That's why they are bringing their own version of GamePass (once again using MS servers).

1. GamePass is light years ahead of PSNow to the point they aren't even close to being the same. Anybody with GamePass can play their games natively or streaming on any gadget with a Web browser or app store. Smart delivery ensures the best experience and everything is seamless with save games. You get over 100 titles at any given moment including new MS releases as a day one option. And best of all, it just works right. With a good Internet connection it's difficult to tell streaming apart from native.

2. Sony is not killing it right now. They are getting killed. All their console are sold at loss. They have no subscription service anywhere close to GamePass that generate them revenue. Without changing Sony gaming division is dead man waking. They will go bust on this trajectory.

The game has never been able to load for me. It immediately crashes back to homescreen.

I've tried everything to get it to work, but same thing every damn time.

Uninstalled it and can't play it.

I dont have the time or the patience for long winded or frustrating games.

GamePass games need to be shorter and relatively easy considering the sheer amount of them in my opinion.

That way people get to play more than a few of them instead of getting sucked into 1 or 2.

@Bobobiwan They are decent. Maybe a bit dated now but if you have the time still worth a play through.

Space Jam makes GamePass look bad.
